I liked this story and the character of Hank. I also liked how Hank took charge of everyone and everything and stayed strong despite his fears and the odds. I didn't like how the story veered off so many times in different directions, and I found myself skimming pages. It has quite a few editing and spelling problems, which if the story has really captured my attention, it doesn't bother me too much. All in all it is worth reading.

sorry to be so negative but I couldn't get past a few pages. The dialogue was bad bad bad. All I can say is keep trying if you really want to write, maybe get some help. I don't want to discourage a new author.J Wright

The character development and plot was good in this book. the story had good good flow progressed at a good pace. Hank the main character had good vision despite mistakes that were made. His drive and the cooperation from supporting characters made this a really good read. I will be looking for more from this author

I thought it was a good story of TEOTWAWKI set in the Pacific Northwest. A plausible scenario both in the cataclysmic event & life in the aftermath. I really enjoyed it & I am looking forward to the next story. Did they build a dam? Did TJ & Hanks daughter get together? What about Hank & Evie?

I got this book as a freebie and really did not expect it to be as good as it has been to read. Its an ok time waster and I would recommend it to anyone who has read emp/apocalyptic books before. Its not the best I've read but its for sure not the worse.

Great Read!

Very well written with really good character development. The arc of the story was compelling and the pace was consistent. Also, it had enough action to keep me very connected to the trauma and desperate circumstances of the characters.

Wordy, and not in a good way. Indifferently edited, with a clumsy narrative, I kind of wish I hadn't taken the time to try it.

Really bad. Characters were absolutely horrible. I couldn't find anything likable about any of them. Could have been a good story, but wasn't.
