There is much that has been written and said about World War II. Anyone with even a remote interest in history can find a veritable treasure trove of information about this bloody period in world history. While the United States’ involvement was important, that is not the main focus of this book. Rather, the author chooses to bring an analysis from the war largely from the European side of it. This book is packed with information about the battles and strategies that took place in Europe during the war. You will learn about the events that led up to the war, how it eventually ended, and much more in between.

Here's a Preview of What You Will Learn
* The contributing factors that built up to World War II
* Battles in the European theatre of the war
* The rise of Hitler and the Nazi party in Germany

Great read on basics but begged more

This book was great at giving a brief history of world war 2 and recommend it for those wanting just that. I was more interested in the origins of the war and how the thought process behind each move which was not discussed as much as I desired.

Interesting Point of view

Interesting Point of view

I enjoyed this book, which is brief as advertised, largely because it gave more info on the Russian front than most other books I've read which were much longer. I may have to check out more on that aspect.
