Hot and sassy
Clint, the hot hunky cowboy with a secret. Amelia, sassy, inquisitive and a horse whisperer among other hats she wears.
When Clint and Amelia meet over a beautiful horse, sparks start to fly.
I like how their relationship began and grew.
This was a hot and sexy love story with a little bit of drama, sexy cowboys and horses.
I would definitely recommend.

The Cowboy’s Secret
I actually really enjoyed this book! The beginning premise isn’t that realistic, but that isn’t that unusual in a romance, so it didn’t bother me. I liked the heroine and the hero, and I liked that they fell in love without a ton of drama. They grew closer and they were sweet to each other, and I liked the HEA!

Great Story
I really enjoyed reading this story! Thank you for a truly wonderful story. I couldn't put the book down. It held my attention all the way through until the very end!

Ms. Carpenter always delivers an engaging story. She combines well developed characters, strong story lines, and spankings to create an enjoyable story.

Holy smoke. Just read the first paragraph, it will tell you everything you need to know. This book is sexy, spanky, steamy, intriguing, and had me from the first chapter to the last. A hunky cowboy who is human, flawed and vulnerable, but sexy, lovingly dominant and a gem. I'm in love. I have really enjoyed all the Cowboy After Dark Series, and I'm hangin' for more. Definitely recommend.

What a fun book. Have enjoyed all her Cowboy novels (all her novels but especially the Cowboy Series) and this was no exception. Clearly this author has been to Australia. I can usually get a sense about whether or not someone is writing about what they'd actually seen and experienced, or if they're just making stuff up, (which does seem to happen in this genre) but this felt authentic. Very sexy, spankings abound, and I thought the story was entertaining. Cowboy's Rules is still my favorite of the bunch, but I'd be happy to see more about these two characters. It gets a BIG yes from me.
