This book has a high rating. I was surprised. -.- Was I reading a different book? The characters were stupid. the scenes were not really well written. The girl! I want to hit her in the head. Who would want to read a book with a character like her (and with a story like this)? She would always say no in the beginning, but after a while, they're together again. it happened all
throughout the story!

Worst book I have read.

Loved this book! Although I hated the cliffhanger ending, it was a good one. Didn't see it coming. I am on pins and needles waiting for the second book. Hurry! :)

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts arc.

Tessa meets Anders at The Billionaires Club Resort. Tessa's billionaire Anders was picked by her friend for Tessa. Anders was everything she visualized in her fantasy. But, after one time she knows that she can't get her head around him sleeping with his other clients. When he comes to see her the next time she tells him to go way. Sitting with a women she met at the pool who had been coming there for a month each year told her some stories. As Tessa is checking out a hot looking pool boy Anders comes up behind her. Anders tells her he doesn't want her to be with someone else she gets mad and tells him off. She knows if she is with him alone that she won't be able to resist him.

Things seem to be on track until Anders lies to her again and again. Tessa's old boyfriends comes into the picture and she thinks that maybe she should go out with him to see where it would lead. Her friend Ryan who she met at Billionaires club. They hang out every now and then in between hating/loving Anders. Twists, turns, lies and forgiveness. There is also a big surprise

I was asked by the author for an honest review.

2 Stars

I'll admit that the synopsis sounded interesting and different, but I was expecting more than just sex and insecurities. I wasn't impressed by the quality of the characters. She's completely naive and she's a pushover. She's spineless throughout the book, and regardless of how he treats her she takes him back. And there's one scene later in the book that really surprised me in the reactions of both main characters. He's a complete asshole from beginning to end. They're both extremely insecure and the way they "overcome" their insecurities is definitely not something that I could see actually working. We still know next to nothing about Anders outside of the little tidbits about himself that he shares with Tessa. The sex scenes were steaming and very detailed, but I wish there had been more substance outside of them.

4.5-5 Stars!

Wonderful. Wonderful. WON.DER.FUL. I absolutely loved this short! I really really wish it was longer, but since this is the first part, I see why it ended up being a short/novella. Aside from length, this story is nearly flawless imo. You have likable characters and an interesting plot. Here's the breakdown:

Characters
Tessa
I really enjoyed Tessa. She's like much of us bookworms who have their head in the clouds due to the endless romance novels that provide us with dreamy, sexy men we can only hope to snag in real life (or as some jokingly say, they're God's apology for real life men). I think what I like most about her is that she's pragmatic. Admittedly she starts losing it near the end, but I feel like her losing it was justifiable. I normally hate female lead characters who just get swept up in an unrealistic romance, but I think Sky Corgan did a very nice job in manipulating it in a way that you can't fully blame Tessa for her actions and emotions. Other than being pragmatic, I like that she's just a friendly, nice person overall. When she's not debating whether or not to fuck Anders between the sheets, she's striking up some real talk conversations with Late Sixties-year-old Stephanie. Even though Stephanie hasn't been the best women to become bffs with, Tessa still enjoys her time with her.

Stephanie
I said Stephanie isn't the best women to become bffs with, but that certainly doesn't mean that I still wouldn't want to become bffs with her. She's certainly one of those old hoots (though young in spirit) who you can be sure to have a grand old time with. Unlike Tessa, Stephanie has had more experience in the love/marriage department and most, unfortunately, have ended up on the nasty side, hence her active participation in The Billionaire's Club. Her jaded love affairs has left her to become a damper towards Tessa's undefinable relationship with Anders, but the woman just wants to have the young Tessa's back which I appreciate her for. I have a feeling that Stephanie will be that friend who, even though the things she tells you are a crude awakening and the level of friendship doesn't feel equally returned, she truly does care beneath that strong facade.

Anders
There's not much I can say about him since we know about him as much as Tessa knows ---which is pretty much zilch. He certainly does know what kind of romantic words to say as he almost convinced me that he was sincere. Other than knowing the right words to say, he's also great in bed. Like REALLY great...Oh, and he has the whole mystery facade nailed down. Extremely private about his information and somehow always able to show up at the right (or in Tessa's case wrong) time when it seems Tessa might just get some from another Billionaire's Club worker. I really wish we knew more about him, but at the same time I'm content for not knowing (for now anyways until the release of book 2) all about him as the mystery perfectly fits the story line.

Plot
I don't know if it's unique (unfortunately I'm not aware of every single romance storyline out there), but I haven't really seen this particular plot often. I'm aware of romance novels with escorts and whatnot, but not exactly a club of billionaires being the service members instead of guys who need the money (well except for the servicemen, but that's something else). I like the plot just like I like Tessa, it's realistic. You have a girl who's paid (or rather her best friend has paid) to have a billionaire role play as a billionaire looking to sweep a girl off her feet and she's utterly conflicted because she doesn't know what's real and what's not. What I like even more is that it makes me so cynical. I know I know that sounds weird, but I think I like it in that I just seriously don't know what's really and what's not (like Tessa for a majority of the book). The plot keeps you guessing coming back for more. Ugh and that ending...I'm just dying to see where it continues off from THAT cliffhanger...

Erotica/Romance
There's not exactly as much romance (surprise surprise) in here except for the sweet nothings that Anders says to Tessa. They really would get to your heart if you're not a cynic like me who's on constant alert for bs, but even I get kinda swept in them too because those lines are just that swoon worthy. Bravo to Sky Corgan for making cliche romance spiel not sound cheesy and cringe worthy at all! Of course I would've liked to see more romance, but this short is completely justifiable in not having a solid romance established yet as it is only the beginning and there's grounds as to why there isn't exactly one. As for the erotica, it's fantastic. It's not too hardcore nor is it too innocent...just the right amount. If you're really looking forward to those steamy scenes, you're in for a treat!

Overall, I really enjoyed this short/novella! I really hope that we get to learn a bit more in depth about Tessa's past about why she is the way she is/how she ended up where her life is now (I mean we're given details, but I feel like not enough to fully connect with her). Aside from that, it's definitely an ebook that I highly suggest you go pick up over as smash words, especially because it's FREE. A good/potentially good book that's free? You'd be crazy not to go pick it up. Especially because it will literally cost you nothing...

So yeah. Go pick up the book. Go love it. And then review it here about how much you love it like I do. Now. That being said, I can't wait for the 2nd installment! Thank you Sky Corgan for a lovely first part in a series!

Imagine...a resort for women that includes a night of passion with a billionaire. You pay but all the proceeds go to charity. Hard to believe, huh? But, that's the Billionaire's Club. Raven Tarley has a new job as assistant director of this charitable organization/resort. Her work partner Croix Philbrook is a gorgeous billionaire. She's instantly drawn to him but quickly reminds herself that she can't get involved with her boss after the disaster she had with her last job. Well the best laid plans go astray, right? Croix and Raven begin a journey towards love but it's a very bumpy road. Trust issues, secrets, old lovers, pickaters are just a few of the problems they must face.

Fun, flirty, sexy romantic romp with well-written storylines and define characters. The main characters have amazing chemistry, jump to conclusions, act on misunderstandings before they find their HEA. This is an enjoyable duet and I liked it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

This book was awesome. I loved the storyline and the whole roller coaster ride of their relationship. I couldn't put the book down. I wanted to hate Anders but I just couldn't. And the happy ending was just beautiful!
Get on the ride and read this great book.

What a cliffhanger!!!!

I liked this book up to a certain point. The writing's good and the storyline is a little on the predictable side. However, the heroin is extremely naive and I can't honestly say that I could relate with her. The hero in this book isn't what I was expecting in the end either... I almost hate him, although you don't actually get to know him all that much.

I think my biggest woe is the lack of interaction between Tessa and Anders.... The most interaction you read is in the bedroom and it ends in the form of a booty call.... Which isn't what I look for in a romance..... I feel like the build up of emotion started out in the beginning but we're then quickly forgot until the crazy ending

That all being said, I honestly feel like I can't give an accurate review without reading the rest of the series, but this one part was mostly enjoyable, it just wasn't really something I would typically read.

Also, I wasn't expecting this book to go the way it did, although the description felt more like an advertisement than anything to do with giving the reader an idea as to what they're going to be reading about..... That might be what has my dislike to this book.

I'm giving this book a 3 out of 5 star rating....

A good start to this series.

The Billionaires club is there for exclusive access for those woman who can afford a $10k price tag for a month of pleasure with a hunky man worth billions.

After leaving a one sided relationship with a Billionaire of her own Raven takes on the job as assistant marketing director. Working closely with Millionaire Cronix will test her. But the heat between these two sure makes it way to your kindle.

Though I did enjoy this it left me needing, no wanting more. Is book 2 out yet??

Woman wins lotto sends her best friend to the billionaires club were women pay to enjoy spas, massages, and of course all the hot eye man candy. Even get to sample the weres on top of getting a billionaire to play hot sexy stud for two nights a week.
For most women it can be a hot sexfest for their stay but not so for Tessa. She's all for one man only and doesn't do casual sex, but it seems she can't say no to her billionaire Anders.

Cliffhanger ending that may leave you picking your jaw off the floor, or not.
Amazon freebie. Nice to give you a little taste and if you like it buy and read on.

Really liked this story and was executed well enough. Tired of naive girls though. Everyone wants to be seduced but do people have to be so seduced that they lose all common sense. I haven't read the other books yet but I am guessing Anders is actually the owner of The Billionaire's Club and he uses it as a way to pick up girls but never expected to fall for Tessa like he has or somewhere along those lines. Also this story is very similar to another story I just read called Breathless by the Billionaire but this story was put together better and didn't have as many editing mistakes.

Very, very hot! Sky has done it again with another great series beginning. If you enjoy her work then you must pick up this one. Raven has accepted a career as an assistant director of the "Billionaires Club." She tries her best to avoid thinking about her sexy boss, Croix. After all Raven is still hurting from being made to look a fool by her ex lover Derrick. He wants Raven back, but Croix isn't about to let Derrick take Raven away. This book will pull you in and have you hungering for the next one.

I enjoyed this book. The author is very detailed during the sex scenes. Sex sales, so I enjoyed every minute of it. The end of part one had me blown away. Especially because Anders made each woman feel as though she was the one for him. The turn was somewhat expected because she was warned by the old rich lady. I can not wait to start reading part two.

That's pretty nice vacation for a friend to send best friend on. the place sounds great, but not for the woman that wears her heart on her sleeve. such as our main character here. this chick screams desperation, and is a huge turn off. the cliff hanger ending did not surprise me in the least. this dude is nothing more than a smooth operator for getting sex.

Intrigued is how I was left when I finished the book. Yes it has a cliff hanger but I'm left wanting to know what happens next.
Imagine working for a club where women pay big money to have fun with a billionaire to their liking. But things don't go as smoothly as one would like. A lot of obstacles are in their way before they even can open. Yes, intrigued I am and I can't wait for book #2.

A Wonderful Fantasy, By A Woman

This book is written from a woman's point of view. A Wonderful friend wins the lottery. An gives her a gift. Tessa stays for a month as a guest, where she can have any man she wants! An easy read, but it ends too soon. Shucks.....
