Flatmates: A Play

Rate this book
Roger Figgleswade and Andy Blake are living together in a University flat. The two friends could not be more different. Roger comes from a higher-class family of politicians. He is extremely sensitive, insecure and nervous. Andy is a loud, laid back and charming young man from a working class family in Newcastle. When they come to Fleekwood University, they have to share a two bedroom flat together on the campus. When a girl named Laura takes a fancy to Roger, Andy sees an opportunity to help Roger emerge from his anxiety and self-doubts. Andy decides to organize a party, one which will create the perfect social setting for Roger and Laura to really hit it off. At a strict University where parties, drugs and alcohol are banned, this is just the kind of revolution that the fun-loving students need. A zany new comedy for youth groups and drama clubs.
