I received this first part of 3 as a freebie on Google Play & it's leaving me wanting to be frank. Whether the novel has lost something by being divided into 3 novelettes I'm not sure, but it does seem quite disjointed.
The end of Chapter 6 certainly has lots of thrills & is obviously the main story of the novel. I will hold my final opinion until I have read book 2.
