Swan broke my heart.
This book is so emotionally fuelled. I cried, I laughed and I swooned.
Swan is really put through the worst of it. She loves hard and struggles the most when she loses that love, not once but twice. My heart broke for her, she deserves all the happiness.
Drake has been in love with Swan since he was just a teen. He knew she was his woman but he also know she wasn’t his at least not right now but he was willing to wait and would be happy for her no matter what as long as she was happy.
I’ve really enjoyed watching Drake grow throughout this series. He went from a pain in the arse little brother and a complete flirt with the ladies to a man who knew what he wanted.
Their journey isn’t an easy one but definitely worth it.
I personally don’t think Swan and Lockland would have ever ended up together for the long run. They were just young love as far as I was concerned. It was sad what happened but it was needed for things to pieces to fall where they were always meant to be. Drake and Swan were always end game.
Swans book is the longest in this series and it totally needed to be. It was a lot.
Lila of course delivered an easy book that flows and captives you. It’s definitely a slow burn but a beautiful one. I found it really hard to put down. But, I always do when it comes to Lila’s books.

Grizz fan for life

Ok, so before I read this book, I had to search for spoilers bc I was scared by the blurb that Grizz would die, and I couldn't handle that.
Now that I've read it and Lockland dies. The scene is very sad, and Grizz' pov chapter had me crying and snotting.
I really love these 2nd generation books because I enjoyed the OG books so much. It's great to see all the past characters. I had been really looking forward to Swan finding love bc we saw so much of her as a toddler.
I love that this was a slow burn. It was nice to watch Swan grieve and battle herself on the thoughts of moving on.
Drake(Dragon) was so gone for Swan. He was so patient and knew what she needed before she asked. He took care of her when she was sick. And I loved the scenes with him and Grizz and him with Nicky.
I'm still the biggest fan of Grizz and Wolf, and I truly loved every part they were in. It makes me want to reread their books.
I have 2 lingering questions from this book...
1. Will Rommy get a book, and will it be ffm? I sure hope so. She stole the show, and I love her.
2. What is with the missing women? Is that coming up more in future books? It kept being brought up, but then nothing.
If you're reading on the Kindle app, this book stops at the 90% mark and is just a happy for now ending. The last 10% is a preview of another series.
I wish this book was a bit longer or gave us an extended epilogue, but I will read the next one for sure.

A perfect dessert for your crushed feelings.
The only time I had to put the book down was to have a moment - you will know what I mean - before picking it up again and telling everyone in the real world to leave me alone so this book could be finished.

Good, but not much happened.
This was basically just a romance book with slight mention of MC .
I kept waiting for something to happen, but then nothing did.
Swan has been in love with her childhood best friend Lockland, basically her entire life. he left for the US when his music career took off and broke off contact for 4 years.
Swan ends up going to a meet and greet to confront Lockland when he tours Australia.
turns out he didn't break things off his mum, and the agent did.
the story with lockland was very fast, like the author wanted it out of the way, so there wasn't really enough time to really connect with him and Swan.
it all wrapped up in 80 odd pages.
the truama after was also fast and then dropped.
I know it was a year later, but it's another one of those if you find a guy boom truama over.
I wanted to see Drake comforting her throughout the relationship building. but it didn't really happen. we got a cliche she gets the flu, and he takes care of her.. which, to be honest, always bugs me in a way. as these Authors write these independent women but one bad cold, and they can't do anything.. drives me nuts.
Drake was sweet, but his club name just made me cringe.. I think Lila ran out of good names.. Dragon 🤣 haha sorry nope.
I disliked how he always said "woman i need you to give me your mouth." it's just eww worthy. Just say woman, I need a kiss or something.
he came across as trying to be more grown up than he is.. like he was trying to be like the other men in the club.. demanding things and ordering.
308 pages, and seriously, nothing really happened.

I’m a be quick with this review because it’s not much I want to say if I’m honest.
1. I love every book I’ve read by Lila Rose, she’s one of my favorite authors.
2. I was rooting for Swan and Drake way before Loveland came into the picture.
For one Drake was in love with Swan and she was just oblivious to the love her had for her. Even when he was trying to make her smile and be there for her. Especially when Lockland got killed.
Now that right there was foul. Because Lockland seems like he was a nice person and actually cared for Swan the same way Drake did. But his mother and manger took that away from him. They didn’t like Swan for him. Which I think has something to do with who her dad is…..
What upset me was Lockland own mom got him killed. It sucked how Swan blame herself for his death when it wasn’t her fault at all. Even though this book is fiction . I understood everything that Swan felt. Because I felt that way when I was trying to save my great nephew, myself, mother and step-brother but in the end my mother died out of the 4 of us… it suck’s when you take the blame for something that deep down you know you aren’t a fault.
I love the fact how everyone was there for her and helped her understand. In the end I also was happy that she realized that she had feelings for Drake. I wanted them together in the end anyways; then Lockland came in the picture lol!! But all in all I’ll give this book a 5 ⭐️ rating!!!

I LOVE Lila Rose and her stories. Once again, she drew me into the Hawks MC world and makes me want to reread the whole series. The family and dinamic they have is amazing and makes you wish you were part of it.
Sawn is the daughter of Grizz and Deanna (Book 2 of Hawks MC). She is shy, quiet, and loves to read (my kind of girl). She loved her childhood BFF but he stopped talking to her. Lockland became famous and was back in town for fans and she went and saw him and they feel back into that easy friendship. But just as they started to connect and turn it into so much more, trategy struck 😭
A year later, Sawn is trying to live with what happened and find a path forward. Once feelings arise from someone new (Drake has always been around but she is seeing him in a new light), she has to learn to let go and love again. Drake as loved her from afar for a long time but will not make a move until she shows she wants him.

Read This
For me, Lila Rose is one of those authors, that whenever I read a new book that she has released, I immediately have to read it and then, in reading her new book, it makes me want to reread all of her previous books that I’ve loved (which is what I’m about to start doing in a moment).
This book, Swan’s story is one that will be sticking with me for a while. I’ve loved all of the books in the Hawks MC world and all of the next generation books, but Swan’s character is one that I immediately connected with and so, I think her story will be sticking around in my head and heart for quite a while.
This was a beautiful story that yes, has its gut-wrenching moments but it’s a journey I know that I will read and reread again and again, because this author’s work always takes me on one heck of an emotional adventure.

I enjoyed this book. It was definitely super cheesy but I still enjoyed it.
Swan is a daughter of the Hawks MC. She has always been in love with Lockland and Drake has always been in love with her. Lockland is a famous singer and has been separated from Swan for a while and they finally reconnect. Spoiler Alert: he dies. Swan is healing and then after mourning with the support of her family and friends. Drake is determined to give Swan what she needs, even if that means she only ever wants friendship from him.

Okay I thought I knew what to expect... I didn't! I could never have seen the twists that came in this book! I was confused from the beginning but thought i had figured it out.
But again no! Not at all...
Lila Rose outdid herself with this book. She made it so unpredictable, new and fun to read. It was also a very hard book with heavy emotions and sorrow. She broke my heart and then slowly started putting it back together again for every new chapter I read.
I loved how much everyone from the other books and just the entire mc family was involved in this book and we got to meet all our favorite characters again.
It is very hard to tell you more about this book without spoiling it so all i am gonna say is this is a must read from Lila Rose!
But again no! Not at all...

If I could give this more than 5/5 I would. This was FANTASTIC. I was not expecting it to be such s slow burn, but it was so worth the wait. I was not prepared for what happened in this book and the mini time jump is not normally something I like but was necessary in this book. Swan was so real and endearing and I felt her emotions with her throughout the story. Her happy ever after was so satisfying and worth the wait. This is close to being my favorite Hawks book of all time, it’s hard to top Beast and knife and Ruin and Wolf but this was high up there. I was so not prepared to cry so early in the book but I absolutely loved this. Their love story was worth the wait. Phenomenal.

Oh boy was it good to be back with The Hawks MC.
Swan was an amazing story. From the start, you will be shocked out of your mind. (Thanks for that Lila)
But the story was so good. Swan finally got to tell the guy she was in love with how she really felt. Amd that was hard for her, as she is shy and sort of a nerd. Loved spending time with her books more than people.
But when she faces something so awful, the one person she didn't expect to be there for her l, is the one who brings her out of the darkness☺️

Love Worth Waiting For

For years Drake had silently loved Swan from afar always just offering friendship and now he is there to help her heal. As Swan heals from her devastating loss she soon starts to notice Drake and feel things for him she is afraid she shouldn't but with the support of her Hawks family she learns it is ok to move on and love Drake in this emotionally charged exquisite read. I would never have guessed Drake and Swan until it happened.

Swan was a beautiful FMC and you feel in love with her gentle soul! She went through so much pain and grief to finally come out the other side! The MMC was everything she needed and more he truly became one of my favorite characters! He knew how to show swan how to love after a traumatic experience! He was patient and so loving! This book showed how you can love, loose it and find true love again and deeper! Again seeing old family and friends is a gift! I also now have a new tattoo I want to get that a certain young lady got! Love this book and it is now a favorite that will be on my book shelf!

A page turner!
I started reading Swan and I had to keep turning the pages until the end. This is Swan's love story which started with the loss of the man she had loved for years even though they lost touch with each other. And then it becomes her love story with her friend Drake who has been in love with her all of his adult life. This book has all the feels in it and I will admit it brought me to tears. I started reading Swan and I had to keep turning the pages until the end. This is Swan's love story which started with the loss of the man she had loved for years even though they lost touch with each other. And then it becomes her love story with her friend Drake who has been in love with her all of his adult life. This book has all the feels in it and I will admit it brought me to tears. Oh man what can I say about Swan book. I would by start by saying that just for a second I didn’t like want happen at the start of the story it just broke my heart that I even had to stop for a second to continue with Swan story. But I’m glad I did continue because let me just say that this lady deserved all the happiness that she could have with a big supporting family and the love that she so much deserves. This author has written some amazing stories but I think she outdid herself with Swan. Love reading Swan and I’m hoping there are more of the next generation of Hawks.

For most of Swan's story my heart was broken and it had me in tears. Swan and Locklan were best friends until forces beyond their control pulled them apart. Reuniting again and admitting their feeling it seems they had it all until tragedy struck. My heart broke right along with hers. As time went on Swan spent time with Drake and from there she started to move forward with her life and I couldn't be happier for her. I loved their story. The heart break, tears, laughter, family and love were so worth it.

Book four in the Hawks MC next generation series. This one was hard to read but I loved it. Swan. Has been in love with her best friend. Till he moved on and left her behind. When she make up her mind to ask y. They found out that they were both keep from each other. Now they can m me up the time and fall in love. Bad decisions are made, both worlds come to a stop. Emotional and heartbreaking story about love, lost and the power of loving someone with out thought.

Sweet Swan!
I am loving the next generation series. Seeing all the kids interact in this book made my heart happy and I cannot wait for the others to get their stories.
Swans story made me sob and then it mended my broken heart. I'm so happy she found her happily ever after, she deserved it. And Griz was the perfect amount of grumpy and supportive of the relationship. Loved every part of this book, even the sad partss.

Amazing book
I absolutely loved this book! I could not put it down! You made me cry, laugh, smile, and swoon. Swan is so sweet and I just loved her. I hated the trauma she went through, but it made her stronger. Drake is so sweet and protective. He knows what he wants and is willing to sacrifice for happiness. I just loved them together. It was so much fun seeing all the people from past stories. I hope Rommy gets a book next.

This is a comfort read MC romance author for me. I enjoyed getting to see Swan grown up. This book had an unexpected storyline and oh my heart, I felt all the feels. I love Swan’s journey. I loved the MMC and how gone for Swan he was. Talk about all the boxes he checks off. I loved getting to see all the other characters. I cannot wait to go back and read some of the other books I’ve missed.
