**AWESOME DEBUT NOVEL**
This book is about love, second chances, and overcoming the past with a little bit of humor and drama thrown in there.
It all begins with Landrey Steele, a girl who has been tainted by an abusive relationship from her past. She puts all her energy into work and hanging out with her friends to continue to live her life as normal as possible. While working a new employee has came into her life, Zaine Brooks. She is attracted to him and he fits right in with her group of friends. After spending quite a bit of time together their feelings toward each other evolve from being friends to something more. There are things that make their relationship complicated and unfortunately Landrey's insecurities get the best of her.
Years past, eight to be exact and Landrey works for a well known Fashion Designer who gives her and her best friend the job opportunity of a lifetime. The problem is Landrey still hasn't got over Zaine and this job happens to take place in his hometown. What are the chances that they will see each other? Just so happens they run into each other shortly after she arrives and Zaine is determined not to let her get away this time. As their sizzling relationship continues to grow someone doesn't approve. Who would want to ruin this beautiful relationship?
P.D. Stevens did an amazing job writing her debut novel. It has the right amount of everything. Sex scenes are smoking hot, characters are great, and it will have you guessing who is out to ruin Zaine and Landrey's relationship. The entire book has a very realistic feel to it. Zaine Brooks is now added on my list of favorite book boyfriends, you will definitely fall in love with him. Highly recommend for your next book fix.

Honestly, I was put off that I received the ARC in 5 separate files but that only lasted until I started reading! I couldn't put it down! It was a HOT, quick read! I found myself finishing it in one sitting. Luckily, I had this to read while was stuck in an airport.

This is an amazing debut novel by PD Stevens. I was blown away by the depth of this book. You could feel every emotion through the characters. This is a book of love, second chances and taking a leap of faith for something that is not guaranteed. I love the way this book is written and fell in love with everybody in it, even at their dark times. I will defiantly be keeping an eye out for more books by her.
We start off with meeting Landrey she lives in a small college town and works at a pizza joint. She is starting over after getting out of an abusive relationship, which went from bad to worse. She is a strong woman who is friends with all her coworkers, who happen to be all males but she looks at them more as brothers she never had but then enters Zaine. The feelings for him are defiantly not brotherly. Zaine is only in town for a hale semester for a study exchange program but they end up having a strong connection that feels so right. When Zaine has to leave to go back home he asks Landrey to come with him and to his joy and surprise she says “yes.” But the morning that they are to meet at the airport and begin their lives together Landrey starts to doubt everything and has second thoughts due to the abuse from her past and she never makes the flight.
Fast forward 8 years and Laundry is living her dream in the fashion world. Her and her best friend Tayla to Las Angeles to open up a new store and run a fashion show there. The only problem is she knows that Zaine lives there and he has owned her heart since the day they met and she never moved on from not going with him 8 years prior. While there her lovely friend Tayla hires a lighting crew….well it turns out that the business is owned by non-other than Zaine. And man he is even more hot and sexy than the last time she saw him.
They end up reconnecting and starting a love story that is beautiful. The way that they open up to each other is eye opening. The love that they both carried for each other for 8 year is amazing. We could all learn a lesson on unconditional love from these two. While they start their relationship over there is most defiantly some hiccups in the road. Add one crazy bitch ex for Zaine and then add the abusive asshat that just got outta prison for Landrey and well any relationship will be tested.
Now for Zaine…He makes me want to go to LA and find a copy of him..lol After he thought Laundrey didn’t have the same deep feelings for him he went home and finished school, then opened up his own business with his brothers. He never felt love like the love he felt for Landrey so he threw himself into his work making his company very very wealthy. When he comes face to face with his past he can’t believe it. For 8 years he has wondered why she never showed but once she does show up he is determined to never let her go again. Even if it means getting between her and someone trying to kill her.
“have you ever been with someone who makes all the bad go away for a little while? Have you ever hugged someone or kissed them and still felt their arms around you or their lips the next day, just because it felt so right? I have that with you, don’t you get that?”
The extra characters in this book are freaking awesome and had me in stiches the whole time. Like really what happens when you add your two best girlfriends and your boyfriend’s mother with a bottle of whiskey?? Laughing till it hurts is what happens. I really hope that the others in this book get their own stories as well as a peak into how Landrey and Zaine are doing.
My hat is off to Miss.Stevens. Your book is beautiful, steamy and sexy as hell but I love the added bonus of a little suspense to keep you guessing. At no point was I ever bored and wished it would just be done or that I was missing something. Keep up the awesome writing and I look forward to reading many books from you

Landrey Steele meets Zaine Brooks while working in a restaurant. Zaine is on an exchange program from California for the summer. He and Landry become good friends who want each other but both are too afraid. Just before he goes back home, they give into the temptation of a whirlwind romance. He begs her to move to California with him and live with him, he even buys her a plane ticket and asks she meet him at the airport. She’s too afraid and damaged to accept his offer and move with him. Instead she never explains her reasons for leaving him at the airport waiting for her.

This is a stand alone Erotic Romance.

This was an amazing quick read. The characters just flowed throughout the story. I actually feel n love with the main characters plus there family and friends.
Landrey had a bad relationship and turned into basically a crab when it comes to relationships, does she trust men, yes to an extent, but giving her heart away is something completely different. She isn't what I'd call independent because the girl doesn't open herself up, but she's fearless none the less. Beautiful with a model body, she can have any man she wants, but doesn't see her potential. Working at her dead end job she meets Zaine and boy do the sparks fly. I was so captivated by their friendship that I wanted one too. Lol
Zaine is a guy who comes from money but doesn't show it. He wants to build himself up and not take his family's name to get ahead. He sweet, gorgeous, and honest. He made a few mistakes in the book, but nothing that made you want to turn your back n him. He's a total sweetheart and what every girl out here is looking for. When Landrey tries to run away again, he doesn't let her, he makes her see that they can be more. And I loved him for that.
Not your typical alpha male and dame in distress romance, this story took me on a fantastic ride and I wish I had a little more, the way the book ends the secondaries in the book may just get their own stories, and I'm hopeful for Shay and Ryan, and Layla and Aaron, these characters would be amazing as couples.

I was given this book in return for an honest review
This book is about a girl, Landry and a man, Zaine. They meet each other when he starts working at the same place she does. They have an instant attraction. They start to see each other but there isn’t much time before he will be finished with college and moving back to L.A.. He asks her to move back to L. A. with him. She decides to do it but chickens out at the last minute. There are things in Lan’s past that cause her to have doubts about herself and her chances at ever being happy and in love. 8 years pass, then things happen that allow them to find each other again. From the minute they see each other every things comes back hard. They both have never stopped thinking about each other and loving each other. But, can Zaine stop bringing up how she left him once already and can Lan get over her past and let her self believe in a future with Zaine? It doesn’t help them Zaine may not be as single as he appears to be.
I loved this book from the minute I started reading it. All the characters are engaging and suck you in. It is very well written. You can’t wait to see what happens next or how they deal with their past in order to have a future with each other. There are twist and turns that keep in interesting with out being over the top. I hope the author rights more and that this turns into a series. I want to read more about her friends and his brothers. I have a feeling that might wind up together. Forever waiting is a story of second chance love with lots drama thrown in. It was a brilliant debut from the author.
The story is about Landrey and Zaine. Landrey goes to California for work purposes and after only being there a couple of day runs into Zaine. A man who years ago she nearly gave everything up for, however her own insecurities wouldn’t let her take that chance. As Landrey and Zaine begin to re-connect someone is trying to ruin their relationship and their chances of a happy after ever.
This book has everything, there are plenty of serious hot sex scenes and then you also have lots of drama and you will be forever trying to guess who is out to ruin Landrey and Zaine’s relationship. There was great secondary characters and I loved Zaine's brothers. I hope that maybe they have there own story someday because I feel there is lots explore with them. There are lots of twist and turns through the story. It is very well written and it is was easy to get sucked in to the story. It seemed a fairly quick read as I read it in a couple of hours sitting in the sunshine outside.
Overall a great sexy, sweet story and I look forward to future book by author P.D Stevens.

Forever Waiting is a sweet romantic love story about Landrey Steele, a young woman with scars from her past. Landrey is the manager at the bar where she works. This debut story by author P.D. Stevens was a great read for a for a first time book.
The storyline is about having someone that you least expect walk into your life when you have been dealt some harsh realities. When this person comes into you life you have been given the gift of love from that person hoping that this will last forever. Of course if that were the truth the story would end just there but it doesn't.
This is the story of Landrey Steele and Zaine Brooks. While working as a manager of a restaurant/bar one night Landrey is taken in by Zaine who walks into the place looking for a job. Zaine comes to Landrey's small town for a summer job while he is on a break from college in California.
As the story moves forward Landrey and Zaine become taken with each other and fall in love. The reason that I gave 3 and a half stars, is because I personally felt that we didn’t really get to know the characters, it also felt a little rushed and things seemed to be brushed over.

This book first seems like a love lost and love re-found story, but it's so much more than that. This story made me laugh out loud, swoon, and kept me captivated all the way through. These two characters wanted nothing more than to just be together and so many outside source keep trying to pull them apart. They both have to face their past and stand up to it, so they can have their HEA. I just loved Tayla!! Tayla is that friend that will do what she has to if she feels it's for your own good. Even if she knows you're going to kill her for it. All Tayla wanted was to see her friend, Lan, to be happy. Aaron, just made me laugh out loud!! His personality was just so over the top and when given a real responsibility he freaks out and I couldn't stop laughing. I can't wait to see what Stevens releases next!!

I enjoyed reading Landrey & Zaine's story and watching how even after an 8 year separation some things stayed the same. Watching their love unfold was a pleasure to read and their fights were painful because you could feel for them.
"Have you ever hugged someone or kissed them and still felt their arms around you or their lips the next day, just because it felt so right?"
How could you not love a man saying and doing all the sweet things most women love. There are other things that happen to keep you reading until the end. Looking forward to reading more from the author.

I loved this book!! It's a true testament that love conquers all even time. You could really feel the love these characters shared for each other in the amazing writing. It was almost love at first sight but the fear of old wounds kept them apart. Until a meddling best friend and an opportunity presented it self and they couldn't deny the pull they still had for one another even after so many years has past.

I absolutely adored this book. Wonderfully written debut novel.
Landrey and Zaine‚ the main characters got their second chance for ever after‚ but the road to it rocky. Author did an amazing job in mixing all elements: drama‚ twists and turns‚ hot sex scenes and tender moments‚ and making the book really interesting and hard to put down.
Great sexy read that had me hooked throughout.

Great debut novel by this author. A quick read that I read in one sitting.
This is a story about second chances. Eight years ago Landrey let her insecurities beat her and she lets Zaine leave her life. When they meet again Zaine refuses to let her leave him again. Will he break down them walls of insecurities?
This is a really gripping read. Lots of drama, hot sexy scenes and twists and turns had me living this story.

Great debut novel! I love the chemistry between the main characters! Hot and sweet! Great story line that kept me turning the pages and wanting to know what was going to happen next! Can't wait to see what Miss Stevens has in store next! Loved it!

I thought the story was ok. It's a quick read and not much character development. A lot happens near the end of the book. I didn't care for Landrey. I thought she's an overall weak heroine because she runs away from her problems rather than face them. I didn't like Zaine much either. Lan left him at the airport after he promised to take her away and they could have a life together. 8 years later, Lan's friend and assistant did some meddling. Zaine and Lan see each other again and after a very short period of being upset with her, they get back together like nothing happened. Zaine still had a girlfriend when Lan came back into his life and didn't break up with her immediately. I thought both characters are pretty boring and not much personality. The side characters are more interesting, in my opinion.

Landrey may have started out weak, but she became a really strong character that I enjoyed reading. Let’s not forget about dreamy Zaine. He is not only handsome, but he is the whole package. When he loves, he loves with all his heart. He cared for Landrey, no matter how much time had passed. Of course last but not least, these two cannot keep their hands off each other. At times I wonder if they will ever get out of their bedroom. Even though these two loves sex, they have a very deep, meaningful relationship that they cherish and that is why I enjoyed the story. I hope to read more of P.D. Steven’s future books. Thanks for sharing your book with me. =)

I finished this book in one sitting, it was that good. I just could not put it down. Around every corner something was happening, P.D. kept you on your toes with this book. Landrey was given a crap life with her ex. After a stream of events she became a very independent person who feared being loved. After an encounter with an employee during his last semester in school, Lan felt something weird inside her that scared her off from this boy. Years later Lan had a promising career as an assistant to a fashion designer. While working a job for her boss, she runs into Zaine, the one she let go. Can they rekindle the spark that was between them, or is it doomed from the very beginning? With it looking like the universe is doing everything in its power to stop it before it starts. Lan has to question herself and her doubts, is second chances even possible?
This book has it all! Sex, love, drama, and even maybe an HEA?!?! P.D. has created such a great story you can easily put yourself into. You will find it almost impossible to put this down! I highly recommend this, and I will be rereading this again soon it's that good!

Note: Since I know there are some readers who like HEA but don't like abuse or violence, be warned that there is abuse and violence. There are also some very "heated" moments as well so i wouldn't recommend this book for anyone under 18.

Zaine is a college senior working on finishing up his senior year in her small town. A deep friendship between the two of them ensues and right before he leaves to go back to his home in California, they cross the line and become lovers. Can Landrey let her past go and give Zaine the chance he wants or are her demons to big for her to overcome?

This was a great story about how no matter if you think you're unworthy of love, someone thinks you are. Landrey was a beautiful intelligent woman who had been torn down emotionally and physically in her past, and was broken by the experience. I was able to connect with Landrey and her past so this made a touching story for me. The chemistry between Landrey and Zaine make for a romantic story, with a fun sidekick Tayla to spice it up.
This story had the right amount of romance and drama to keep me interested.

Awesome book!! This is a book about a girl named Landrey who has a painful past that she tries to overcome. Zaine is a man who wants a future with her. Its about love, having a second change at love. Book contains a great love story, mystery, some suspense and over coming your past fears in order to have a future full of love. I will be reading more from this author. Loved. Loved
