Do you believe in magic? I do. Words have the ability to conjure magical worlds that can whisk us away from our everyday lives. There is magic everywhere, you just have to look.

I will be publishing my debut novel Myst in 2016. I am originally from sunny Southern California but now call Nashville, Tennessee home with my daughter and our two fur-kids (dogs).

I cannot come up with enough to say about Stacie Wilson's writing. It is absolutely superb! The delicacy of words and flow of story building locked me in from chapter one. I felt one with the bond, love and magic. I hope that Brianna and Drustan's story continues for many more books and the world of Myst is never lost to us forever thankful readers.

From my book review blog the Paisley Reader.

Stacie Wilson’s Prophecy is a short novella. This quick read grabs your attention right away. I breezed through the pages as Wilson spins a tale that pulls you in to the plot.

A dual point of view novella, I thought the choice of POVs interesting, the two being Brianna and her father, Liam. It begins with Brianna looking back twelve years to when she was six years old. I can completely understand the decision as it sets up future books nicely because you expect, and are left anxiously waiting (in a good way), to hear from her again in the present.

Being a novella, you only get glimpses of the setting, and I look forward to seeing more of it. I have high hopes based on what has appeared so far. You only see the characters as they were twelve years ago too, and although people change, I cannot wait to see how Brianna and Drustan have grown up. I have a feeling that I’m going to absolutely adore Drustan if his character stays the same once he’s older.

Prophecy is a strong debut for Stacie Wilson, I highly look forward to future tales from the Isle of Myst. Wilson is definitely one to watch, and I know that I will enjoy tracking her writing career.

I loved this book from page one. I read The Myst before Prophecy, so I was unclear of the full back story. Now all the blanks have been filled in for me and I'M IN LOVE!!!! This book and all other Myst books will be read over and over until I can't read anymore <3

Battles between light and dark seems like an eternal, repetitive struggle, but it takes on a new guise in Stacie Wilson's Prophecy: An Isle of Myst Novella.

The King and Queen of Myst have long known about a prophecy pertaining to the ancient war between the Light and Dark. When the Shadow Master attacks the Light Keepers and Guardians in order to kill the children and, therefore, remove the threat to his power and survival that the prophecy foretells, the King and Queen find out that their young daughter Brianna is firmly at the center of this war, due to her impressive and unique abilities that manifested during the attack. The King and Queen face an immense sacrifice so that Brianna, and their magical realm, has a fighting chance to survive.

Captivating and swiftly drawing readers in, the basic premise of the world and the unique magical elements contained therein is quickly and fairly organically established and serves as a solid background for the subsequent stories within this series. Told in two chapter snippets of the perspectives of Brianna and her father, Liam, the frightening attack that six-year old Brianna was caught up in and the gravity of the situation and decision to be made is laid out and written well for readers to experience. The brief introduction presented offers quite a lot of action and drama, heightening interest in what is to come in Brianna's life and world.

Overall, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Epic!!!

Oh what a glorious start to what is sure to be a fantastic series!!!
There are so many emotions coming at the reader from mostly the vantage point of a child. This makes it feel so genuine and heartfelt on a completely innocent level.
Then we get to see the point of view from the father.... Heartbreaking!!
I am off to read more!!
Love love love!!

An Isle of Myst Novella

Great first effort, nothing original but solid throughout. Best wishes for your future writing. A hook on the end would have had more impact, something with a twist on earth.

Really wish I would have read the mini novella before Myst but it does explain a lot of things that happen in Myst and the clarification helps. Now impatiently waiting for Dreams of Myst
