Breaker's Point Rogue

Rate this book
When Stuart Reynolds arrives in Breaker's Point he hopes a new job will be the fresh start he needs to clear his head of the girl he left behind. What he doesn't expect is for the fiery, wickedly curvy waitress in the diner to accuse him of being someone he's not.

Ellie Blair's life has gone from bad to worse and when she meets Stuart for the first time, she assumes he's working for Grey Mattheson, the man who has made her life a living hell.

When Stuart's new job forces him into working with Grey, he's drawn into a web of deceit and corruption that only Ellie can help him untangle.

With everything beginning to crumble around Ellie, she quickly realises the only man she can trust is Stuart.

But can Stuart put the past where it belongs and take the chance Ellie offers him? Or will Grey just be one step ahead and tear them both apart?

So, at first it was a decent story. Then things started happening...There is a thing as to much drama. Her Dad is killed by the bad guy. Her Mom has a stroke because of Dads death. Her brother is a waste of character planning. and the hero that saves her well his character seems underdeveloped....Not to mention the heroine has been nearly rapped twice and has low self esteem, and body image problems....She a waitress struggling with finance problems. The bad guy....don't know much other than he's a bad guy...and hates Ellie. I don't know why maybe because her father stood up to him, over what we don't know, or was it because she ran away after her drugged her and tried to gang rap her? The overall story was incomplete. There was spelling mistakes I could not overlook. I am not perfect, I suck at spelling...But come on tyres instead of tires....Yeah, I don't think I will read anything else by this author. But like the story: who knows?

I love this authors books. I'm so glad Stuart got his own story. I wasn't sure I liked him in the Billionaire brothers series.

I loved this book from start to finish.

I love the characters and the story.

This was a great read, suspense and a little intrigue, well written.

I enjoyed the story very much, and will look forward t o more. I expect this will be made into a series. I was glad the author used the torrid sex scenes sparingly, thAt destroys a story, in my opinion. I shall look forward to more.

What a surprising story!

I only wish it lasted longer. The beginning was good. I could feel the chemistry right from the start but would have like a little more character development. By the time Stu and Ellie came together the timing didn't feel right but rushed. Great storyline but I would have liked to know more about the corrupt dealings and how Stuart's brother came to be involved

Decent Story

Was a quick read. I couldn't really get into it in the beginning. Story left plenty of questions unanswered but I'm assuming the story continues in the next books, even if the main characters change.

It started out well, and then lost me with so much drama and incomplete action scenes.

Meh

I think this book could have had potential, but I felt it rushed. To me, it felt more told than shown.
