For a decade Luke and C7ypher have been talking online, befriending each other when they were both young and had no one else that understood what they talked about. All grown up, their lives have both changed dramatically and they have yet to meet. But when Luke has a new business venture he pursues and asks his friend for help he wasn't expecting a solid "no."

Seven found a friend when she was young and in desperate need of someone she could talk to. But for years she had let Luke believe he was talking to another guy and has feared wheat he would do if he found out of her lies. But when she needs his help she pushed those fears away and reaches out to him. And now that they've met their friendship is starting to grow into something more. But can their relationship survive the secrets

The blurb to this book intrigued me a lot so I jumped right in without even reading the third and fourth book beforehand. Luckily I didn't miss anything and was able to get right back into the story. I liked the story and the characters but sadly that's all I did, like not love. There just seemed to be something missing from the story for me to truly get into it.

Luke grew up with a single mother who worked hard to provide for him and when he found out he had brothers he still didn't feel like he fit in. Seven was the only one he could really talk to and together they made the perfect couple. I liked how they were together and that they shared something that brought them even closer. Separately their characters fell a little flat though and I feel like I didn't know enough about them to really get involved in their lives.

The overall story was okay but a little boring at times when it didn't keep my attention. Not a lot was happening and it there were many parts that seemed to just be fluff and not necessary for the story to continue. Despite the slow parts, I did like the book and will be going back to read the books I skipped.

It maybe that I didn't get the whole story since I neglected to read book 2 and 3, (I liked Tank) but this book felt rather ... ehhh
I kept waiting for something to happen, but it never did. It was a whole book about nicey nice stuff! Which it in no way says that the book was bad. I just didn't get it and thought I could pick up the series after missing two books, but I guess the action stuff was in the books I missed. :(

Wow!! M. Malone never disappoints her readers. I always know that when I pick up an M. Malone book that I am going to get a well crafted, beautifully written and heartfelt story, and that is exactly what I got with Luke. However, I must admit that I am disappointed that the Blue Collar Billionaires series has now come to an end with Luke's book. I have come to love the Marshall brothers and reading about their search for happiness and the love of their lives.

Lucas Marshall aka Luke is the youngest of the Marshall brothers, and he is also the genius of the bunch. Unlike Tank and Finn or Gabe and Zack, who always had each other growing up, Luke has always been by himself, and has even felt like an outsider in his own family for the most part, especially with him being so smart and always the youngest in the group. Luke found comfort in his online friends, and with one in particular, C7pher, who just so happens to be an even better hacker than Luke himself, and who happens to have an agenda of her own that Luke is not privy to.

Luke's story was touching and extremely emotional. I loved seeing Luke come into himself as a man, falling in love, and finding his place in his family with his brothers, and learning to understand that he is not by himself and that he can lean on his brothers who love and support him no matter what. However, I must also admit that I am still not sure how I feel about the twist that occurred in this book. It is a true dilemma and I am not sure if I would have made the same decision as Luke, but who knows what we will do when it comes to the ones we love.

Great job on this extremely well written and emotional series about Tanner aka Tank, Finnegan aka Finn, Gabriel aka Gabe, Zachary aka Zack, and Lucas aka Luke, better known as the Marshall brothers aka the Blue Collar Billionaires, M. Malone. I honestly cannot wait to see what M. Malone has in store for us readers next. I absolutely love her work. She is definitely one of my go-to authors.

Luke's story was great

This was such a great story! Luke was always a loaner and he would talk to people online kind of like a computer nerd! Well that's what he got a computer nerd! 7 was trying to get her sister and she would do whatever it took to get her back. But at what price... Could she take something from Luke who she was talking to for so long and then fell in love with? This story is totally worth reading!!!

A perfect ending to one of my favorite series! Although I'm sad to see it end, I've always loved Luke. Seven is perfect for him, and seeing all of the brothers rally around him really warmed my heart!

A great end to an amazing series. There wasn't one weak book in the bunch, and that's quite a feat. I would recommend this to everyone.

I jumped right to the end of the series because the hero had been described as a curmudgeon. Boring characters, weirdly choppy transitions between moods and scenes, I'm out at 34%.

By far my least favorite in the series. It somehow managed to be both boring and still make me hate the heroine. I struggled to finish it. There wasn’t enough going on to hold my attention.

I didn’t like either mc. Luke was a pushover. Seven was selfish. I was expecting someone who had been on their own so long to at least be smart, but that was another issue I had with Seven. She was blinded by wanting to get custody of her teenage sister, to the point of betraying Luke (even if she doesn’t fully go through with it, she allows him to “save” her by giving the FBI some information on his dad). It was crystal clear that her sister didn’t want rescuing from her foster family, but Seven for some reason had it in her head that she would make a better parent. Even though she was about the most immature character I’ve read in a very long time.

I did enjoy Tank and Emma’s wedding. Seeing as this is the last book in this series I wish we would have gotten a bit more of the previous characters (particularly Josie and Rissa).

Overall this series had its ups and downs. It’s been on my TBR for a long time. While I’m glad I finally read it, it’s not one I’d revisit or recommend to friends.

Is Maxwell Marshall really dead?!

The red feather that mysteriously appeared inside of Luke's mailbox, led me to believe that Maxwell Marshall, their father is not really dead. He may have faked his own death. I remember the statement he made to Luke, while having lunch, just before Luke handed him over to the Feds. Max, said "the Phoenix always rides even from his own demise. Makes you wonder doesn't it?!😲😮. I'm so glad that the Marshall Brothers, are all together and they are one big happy family😁💟👌

This is the last book in the Blue Collar Billionaires Series. The Story of Seven - a computer hacker/ coder- and Luke (the youngest brother). Seven has always relied on herself, not trusting anyone, with no friends- except Luke (the online friend who she has never actually met). Luke - a computer genius is a loner as well. Their story is sweet. Well written and a smooth read.

Great read

I wasn't expecting lukes book to be like this I was pleasantly surprised at how it played out how seven came to be part of his life even when he didn't know it was her all along helping him out from being a teenager.
He finally gets the courage to meet max if only it was under different circumstances.

Betrayal

M. Malone weaves many levels and types of betrayal in the final book. Luke, Sarah, Max, and others must all deal with issues of betrayal and move forward with acceptance and love. The question is, "Can they move forward?"

What an ending!

Luck is the youngest of the Marshalls, he's always been on his own. Seven has had a crush on Like for years after she looked him up online, but they have never met, only spoken online for years!

I really enjoyed Luke’s story. I wasn’t expecting some of the twists in the story but I was pleasantly entertained. This whole series was great. As soon as I finished one book, I was ready for the next book. You won’t be disappointed.

Great series

I love this series. Romance with hot guys who are rich, happy endings and humor kept me turning pages. I do recommend reading it in order because there is one theme running through all the books. If read out of order, that part could be confusing a little.

•••••••••

REVIEW: 3.5 stars---LUKE is the fifth and final installment in M.Malone’s contemporary, new adult Blue Collar Billionaires romance series focusing of the five Marshall brothers-Tank, Finn, Gabe, Zack and Luke. This is youngest brother Luke Marshall, and Seven’s storyline. LUKE can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading the series in order for back story, history and cohesion as there is too much information missing to understand the family dysfunction and the brothers’ connection to one another.

Some background: The Marshall family consists of 5 brothers and half brothers; three mothers; and one father with ties to the Irish mob. Patriarch Max Marshall is a billionaire who ‘earned’ his money through mafia transactions, and had bequeathed each of his sons an early inheritance. The Blue Collar Billionaires series is their stories.

Told from alternating first person points of view (Luke and Seven) LUKE is the culmination of a building storyline wherein our hero, a child prodigy, will finally meet the father he never knew, and the online hacker he has considered a friend for close to ten years. Luke has always been a bit of a loaner; with few friends and only his mother as family and confidant. Seven and Luke will finally meet when the FBI forces our duo into an unscheduled meeting, but a meeting that will find Luke and Seven on a path to love and a happily ever after. Meanwhile, the family begins preparations for Tank and Emma’s upcoming nuptials.

Luke and Seven’s introduction to one another comes as a surprise to Luke as he never considered his online friend to be a woman. The introduction between Luke and Seven is built upon a lie, and Luke soon discovers that Seven’s appearance has much less to do with meeting Luke and more to do with a possible betrayal against Luke and his family. Seven’s past in the foster care system has left our heroine scarred and damaged; Luke’s life growing up without his father has been a struggle but more so for his mother who has had to work harder to keep food on the table and clothes on their backs. The $ex scenes are erotic and seductive.

The world building continues to focus on the Marshall brothers, their relationships with one another; and their mutual connection through an absent and troubled father. Luke’s relationship with his half brothers continues to grow, as our hero begins to accept the new additions to his ever-expanding family. Luke will finally meet the man he has never known, but is it too little, too late for a father whose life revolves around crime and illegal activities?

LUKE is a simple and predictable read; an interesting look at the youngest son of an absent father; a father whose life revolved around crime and the Irish mob. The premise focuses on Luke’s relationship with Seven, and the real reason Seven has sought out a face to face meeting with her virtual, online friend. The characters are engaging and colorful; the happily ever after is not unexpected but a twist to the family dynamics changes all of the brother’s lives for the future. The conflict resolution was disappointing and felt rushed to the finish. I was hoping for some more angst and intrigue.

Own a copy.

Luke

Wow, loved this series, started out, Luke being the computer geek, but also the quiet one growing up by himself, where the other brothers at least knew they had a sibling. But they were quick to welcome him, and accept him into their family despite their feelings for their father. Luke was struggling with his cyber friend who suddenly just dropped him, ignoring him, not knowing why, when they had been communicating for past 10 yrs or so. FBI shows up one day, needs his help, consulting per say, someone listed him as a contact, Sarah, otherwise known as Seven his cyber contact- who he cannot let on he knows that way, he convinces them that they met through security work, somehow buy it, they are released. But what is up with Sarah/ seven? Shows up here after her silence? There are lies, secrets, conspiracy, lots more to this story, you will definitely want to read, interesting?? Hmmmm!

Techies deserve love too

I finally got around to reading Luke's story and it was all that I hoped for and more. Luke such a mystery self reflective character one wonders what would ever draw him out. Enters the introverted Seven. Having her own set of demons to wrestle with, she must come out and face one of the hardest decisions she has ever made. Choosing family over friendship. As we navigate through this story there is more than what meets the eye. A little suspense as father Max plays an important role in whether Seven and Luke will have their happily ever after. You'll enjoy this story because you finally get to see Tank and Emma marry. You get to see the bonding of the brothers. You get to see how Luke handles relationships outside of cyberspace. In the end you are left smiling.

I stumbled across this author by accident a few years ago and have been an avid fan since.
A very good ending to this series. We first meet this group in the Alexanders series.
I have enjoyed these rough, tough and soft hearted for the right woman men. It has been an interesting and very enjoyable tag along with Miss Malone and her latest group of men. TANK, FINN, GABE, ZACK and of course LUKE.
This is a series to keep and I will be rereading for years to come.
The blurb explains the story so I will not rehash it.
As a standalone you will still enjoy it but it is best to read the books in order to get a good idea of the timeline of what has happened and to understand where this story is coming from and the characters in play. It is important to especially understand Max, the men’s father and why he has done what he has done and how it has affected the men of this series.

A simple story with love, smile, tears, trust.

seven's story was sad, why she called herself Seven broke my heart. Luke maybe lonely young man, but he does has his mother, later days step brothers n sister in law too.

They maybe typical American family, step brother with different mothers, growth with some problems, some made serious problems, however, one thing never change is still in belief that we r family.

seven being the foster kid also shown what her typical life is, alone, without love n support, since she was smart, she gets her own life, some r not lucky, they finally being proposition, drunkie or criminals. Foster parents not always nice, they took the kids because the allowance, Grace is lucky.

We all deserve love n being love, no matter where it from.

Great Story

I looked forward to reading this book, the story of Luke, and it did not disappoint. I loved the connection and burgeoning love between Luke and Seven, just wished the book was a little longer. Since this is the end of the series, I wish we had a closing chapter that told us how everyone was doing a few years down the road. Maybe the author could do a short Christmas novella. I don't usually like them but I would buy it to read more about this motley crew.

I really enjoy Ms. Malone's books; I read the Alexander family series and this series, so I look forward to reading her books in the future.

Minx did it again I enjoyed Luke and Seven's story especially how the met with Seven pretending to be a male. And when Luke realized things aren't what they appear to be when he realized Seven was female and they started to fall for one another I am a sucker for a good love story especially a steamy one with a real commitment. I loved how well rounded they were with love for family. Luke's desire to protect her without actually trying to hurt his estranged father warning him of his intentions did I mention it was funny and sexy it was a great treat

Best in the Series

I really enjoyed Lucas and Sevens story. For years Lucas' best friend was online buddy C7pher. He thought he was a guy. Until the FBI forced C7 to get close to Lucas so she could copy his hard drive and give the contents to them to find any incriminating evidence against Lucas father. Surprised and suspicious Lucas took in Seven to find out what was going on. Good plot. Good character growth. Good tying up all loose ends for the series end.

Although it is sad to come to the end of the Blue Collar Billionaires, Luke was the perfect way to wrap it up. Being the "outsider" of the Marshall brothers, Luke always felt slightly detached, but found his way with Seven and his four brothers, and of course is wonderful mother. Life sometimes has a way of just working out the way it should.
