A Beautiful Wholesome Book 💕
Must Read!!!

Review- Some stories are more than just romance and twists that test the love; some stories are just pure love, loss and grief as this journey called life unfolds. One such story is in this book, 'Ishaara' by CA Khushh A Khamar. Story of a common person who is losing themselves, developing, harbouring new things, evolving as phases of time plays.
The gradual setting and varied back drops take us to the lives of Arav and Ishita as they take a reflective trip for Arav's mother, Arav as an individual and together for their relationship.
The words are like a beautiful song that plays in your head as you read reminding you of times when love was more than just a fleeting attraction, where expectations from each other was not the only factor running a relationship, when companionship and understanding were the driving forces.
Through the labyrinth of Arav's changing life, the au has done a remarkable job to connect readers with the places, smartly celebrating the essence of every place, people and cuisine.
Adding the Arav's journal and small encounters with people around gave it a human touch more than just the fiction.
Point of views and roles of every character are well explained maintaining the edge of too much and too little.
A well structured and researched story with a touch of myriad of emotions as humans make this book a connection that readers crave to build with their fictional characters.

What I Liked:
• Themes: Forgiveness, Love, Family, Friendship, Loss, Grief and Joy.
• Setting: Different cities with their beauty, cuisine and significance.
• Character Development: Other than main protagonists: Aarav's mother, Meera (a little girl), Ved and Tara, Prashant Uncle.
• Writing style: Simple and engaging, lyrical essence with inclusion of poetry, touch of connection with diary entries, constant flow with proper labels and headings.
• Dedication page, Acknowledgement, Prologue and Epilogue.
• Original ideas with spice of bollywood old school romance.
• A perfect balance of grief and joy providing each their own space and time.

Summary-
This is the journey of Aarav, a free-spirited, cheerful man who shoulder the burden of the drowning company of his father after his unfortunate demise. Utilising his degree in MBA, her worked magic in the company but amidst this he lost his last thread of happiness as his mom left him with her last wishes to visit Ahmedabad, Mathura and Vrindavan and finally to Varansi. What secrets and truths do these places hold?
Ishita, a thoughtful, practical woman with Masters from the UK is about to join her position as Business Development Manager before. She met Aarav through an arranged proposal.
But the past has a unique way of barging in your present. Their meeting was familiar in some lost true connection kind of way.
Together they embark on Aarav's transformative journey in unveiling the truths and last wishes of his mother.
Among lingering questions and pivotal decisions, a question echoes between them, "Whether Love alone can sustain a relationship amidst the trials of life?"

Final Thought - The book has been a beautiful tapestry of journey, lessons, love, grief, joy and life. A woven story that will always stay with you through the maze of your brain reminding you of little joys in life, and precious moments that turn into memories. The author's thoughtfulness shines through every chapter, every page like the pearls beaded precisely especially for your reading.

It's a riveting tale that wonderfully and artistically weaves together themes of love, loss, sadness, and joy against the bright backdrops of Mumbai and Varanasi.

The story follows Arav Shroff, a young Mumbaian ,navigating the intricacies of life as he copes with his parents' deaths, maintains his business duties, and faces an unexpected arranged marriage meeting with Ishita (who would, of course, become the love of his life).

Ishita a beautifully crafted character who brings a sense of calm and serenity to the narrative. Her presence in Arav's life is a turning point, and their interactions are filled with a deep emotional connections.

Making readers fall in awe with them. The author does an excellent job of envisioning and framing Ishita's character, making her approachable and appealing to readers. Her character delves into themes of love, understanding, and friendship, emphasizing the value of these traits in a relationship.  Her interactions with Arav are tender and heartfelt, and their chemistry is undeniable and cute.

The author's writing style is really engaging, I realised it after just reading the first line from the very first chapter

"LIFE A WORD UTTERED IN A SECOND,IT TAKES LIFETIME TO UNDERSTAND. THE MORE WE TRY TO MAKE SENSE OF IT THE MORE IT ELUDES US."

(Which is true but we don't generally realise it)

And With a perfect balance of dialogue and description that brings the characters and settings to life. The use of diary entries, poetic expressions, and lyrical prose adds depth and emotion to the narrative, making it easy for readers to connect with the characters.

(Such as)

"AUTHENTICITY NEVER DIES , I GUESS - IT JUST WAITS DEEP DOWN , LONGING FOR RIGHT PERSON TO RETURN SO IT CAN COME OUT"

One of the standout features of the book is its ability to transport readers to different cities and cultures, celebrating the essence of every place, people, and cuisine. Making readers fall for the characters' journey even more. The author's vivid descriptions of Varanasi and Mumbai are particularly noteworthy, which makes readers count on the beauty of these two cities immersing readers in the sights, sounds, and flavors of these vibrant cities.

The characters in the novel are well-developed and realistic, with Arav's development serving as a highlight of the story.  The supporting characters, notably Arav's mother, Meera, Ved, and Tara, bring depth to the story, and their personal challenges allow readers to connect with them and experience all of their emotions.

The themes of forgiveness, love, family, friendship, loss, sadness, and joy are beautifully interwoven throughout the story, resulting in a heartwarming and thought-provoking tale.  The author's utilization of innovative ideas, along with a dash of old-school Bollywood romance, making it a must-read for anybody seeking a thrilling and emotional trip.

Overall, "Ishaara" is a brilliantly written work that will stay with readers long after the final page is turned.

Set in the lively streets of Mumbai, the story pulls you into Aarav Shrof's emotional world as he manages business responsibilities, copes with the loss of his parents and faces an unexpected arranged marriage meeting with Ishita. The author has beautifully captured the beauty of the two places - Mumbai and Varanasi. His mother wanted to take Aarav to Varanasi as if there was something important she needed to share with him. What did she wanted to share?? What I loved about Aarav was his determined to honour his father’s legacy by steering the business to new heights. Turn the pages to know what happens next in the story. The pace of the book is well maintained, allowing readers enough time to read at their own speed.

" Ishaara" is a heartfelt exploration of themes like human emotions, loss, determination, love and more. The different places they visit add richness to the story, and the personal struggles each character faces make it easy for readers to connect with them. The writing style is crisp and evocative, with a good balance of dialogue and description. If you're looking for something good and interesting to read, Aarav and Ishita's journey is a must pick.. The language used is simple, easy for the beginners and young readers to understand.

With a perfect balance of nostalgia, introspection, and old-school Bollywood romance, Ishaara is more than just a love story—it is an emotional and cultural experience. A well-structured, beautifully written novel that lingers in the heart long after the last page. What makes Ishaara truly special is its ability to transport the reader—not just to different cities but into the depths of human emotions. The book beautifully captures the significance of places, festivals, and traditions, making them integral to the narrative rather than just backdrops. Through diary entries and poetic expressions, the author masterfully portrays Aarav’s transformation and the delicate dynamics of love, loss, and second chances.
