Rod Parsley spares no time for political correctness in his book Silent No More. Instead he speaks plainly, perhaps bluntly, about some of the biggest issues America faces today (albeit 12 years ago). Not surprisingly, these issues have not gone away - they are, if anything, even more pressing today. Poverty, poor education, ineffective health care, racial divides, and a declining morality among people of all age groups continues to hamper our progress. He speaks from scripture, but he also speaks from common sense and presents facts and statistics to back up both the problems he presents and the solutions he believes can solve them. Parsley offers action steps and additional reading prompts at the end of each chapter, and his focus on each issue is razor sharp. The material is presented logically and is easy to follow, and he makes his case for changes effectively.

Still relevant after 13 years, but would love to see it revisited. I'm afraid the concerns brought up are only getting worse.
