I read this book to my five year old every night for several weeks. it's the longest non picture book he's sat through, which is exciting to me. The story was entertaining for both of us, was not too adult for him, and still used full adult vocabulary, which taught him tons of new words. I can only speak as a parent of a minecraft obsessed kid, but I would certainly recommend this to any other parent of obsessed children!
