Bash McDaniels was just weeks away from finally blowing out of his hometown to make it as a boxer and never coming back. Saving Olivia Beckett from her violent boyfriend should’ve been a speed bump at most, but love stopped him in his tracks. Now, instead viewing Boston in his rearview mirror, he’s viewing it through prison bars…
Bash was her savior when she needed him most. Now, Olivia has to find a way to repay the favor, knowing all the while that freeing him might mean losing him forever…
Book Three: If he's going down, he's going down swinging…
Now that Bash has a second chance with Olivia, he doesn’t want to blow it, but if he tells her the truth about his nighttime activities, he could lose her forever.
Olivia loves that Bash is willing to stick his neck out for those he loves, but not when it might ruin his career...or worse. When she finds out he’s left her bed in the middle of the night to compete in an illegal, bare-knuckled fight run by a notorious Boston mobster, Mickey Flynn, in order to get his brother out of debt, she’s furious.
How can she trust Bash if he keeps lying to her? And how many more times can he put himself at risk before it finally catches up with him?

If I could give it more than five stars I would! Bash and Olivia... Don't know where to start with these two. There were times I wanted to back hand both of them, and other times I wanted to reach through and give them a big ass hug because it was obvious they needed one.
** hero ** Sebastian Bash Mcdaniel's is one hell of an amazing guy. This isn't your typical, guy saves girl, girl falls for guy, they live happily ever fast... Not at all. Their story is so much more complicated than that. Her psycho boyfriend goes crazy and chokes her and Bash comes to the rescue, not realizing it puts everything he's worked so hard for in jeopardy.
** heroine ** she's a bad ass. She may be a damsel sometimes but she can hold her own and isn't afraid to say what's on her mind, as she find her confidence a little more.
They start off on awkward terms and find their way into "friendship", but it's clear they can't be just friends and their pasts make it hard for them to move on to a future together. When they pass one hurdle and seem like they'll be okay, something else happens and they go back to the place they began with. Bash has a heart of gold and is loyal to a fault, he'll do anything for the people he loves even if it means risking his own life. These two finally make it throughout everything and I was beyond happy!!! Can't wait to plunge into Matt's story!
Sebastian (Bash) is a boxer hoping to make it big so that he can finally leave Boston, once and for all. He lives above a gym that he and his two brothers own and has a rigorous training schedule. In his off time he works at a local pub, that is until he gets into a fight one night protecting a girl from her abusive boyfriend. The boyfriend is rich and ready to make Bash pay, especially when he thinks that Bash is out to get his girl. Bash doesn’t need the distraction of a girlfriend right now while he has his eye on the prize, but Olivia has gotten under his skin.
Olivia is a once spoiled little rich girl whose family has lost everything (this part of the story wasn’t particularly well developed). She’s a college student whose rich boyfriend is abusive, especially when drunk. When the hot, muscled Bash comes to her rescue in a bar bathroom one night, there is an immediate attraction. Bash tries to distance himself but continues to be pulled back to her, even with the legal case against him and preparation for his big fight, he jumps into a relationship with Olivia, against his brothers’ protests.
I liked both of the characters. Olivia was a strong heroine and Bash, despite being tall, dark, and handsome was relatable and not over the top alpha. The chemistry between the two was sizzling and it made for a quick, easy read. The book was good right up until the end. The last two chapters or so felt very rushed. There was a lot of build up and hype over Bash making it to the big time and it was all glossed over, he made it and that’s it. I really wish there had been more resolution because in the end, it really felt like I was missing something. This is the first book I’ve read by Bell and I would definitely pick up another.

Fantastic story! I love how this story has been written and the authors excellent choice of words. This is definitely a series I would want to continue reading. This is a 'real' story about bad things happening to good people, sacrifices that needs to be made for the ones you love. Yes you get a glimpse of the good, the bad and the ugly, but you also get to see the real, the love and mix in some sexiness! Loved it!
I enjoyed the start of this series and absolutely loved the last half of it,to the point that I struggled to put it down! I was so attached to the characters.
Bash & Olivia: TRIGGERS: domestic abuse, unsanctioned fights, assault, loan sharks, vandalism. I enjoyed this story. Bash and Olivia meet at a party that she's at with her boyfriend and Bash is working as a bartender. When Bash stops her boyfriend from choking her, a chain of events begin to happen and not good ones. Bash is arrested and Olivia does her best to make things right while the two start to fall for each other. There's drama at every corner and Olivia's now ex boyfriend is the root cause if everything. Bash and Olivia have a chemistry that you can't deny. But can they overcome all odds. I think instead of breaking this up into three individual books, it should've just been one continuous story. Separating it was completely pointless. So if you read each book separately, you're gonna have come cliffhangers. I read the box set when didn't feel like a box set and it all flowed well without saying "book 1, book 2," etc.
I got sucked into one of those short dramas with horrible acting. At the end, it said it was based on a book so I HAD to read it and I am so glad I did. I really enjoyed everything about this book. The plot is suspenseful and sucks you in, the main characters are so loveable, and the spice is spicy. Both narrators were very good, but for some reason the male narrator didn't sound like how I pictured Bash's voice. Still so good.
I'm glad I didn't read these books separately. I hated the way book one and book two both ended in shitty, unhappy places. As it stands, when the story ends it still feels like a downer because of Matty going to the loan shark in the first place. Nothing was resolved there, and apparently it's going to carry on into Matty's book. No, thank you.
I got this "boxed set" and the second one for free on daily deals. I make it a habit not to read serials in pieces. I'm happy I got both of them, but also happy they were free. I think I'm Reading Fatigued. I need a palate cleanser.
Tropey but fun. Thinks is angrier than it actually is.
Over the top drama, enjoyable. Bash and Olivia are good characters, but I was honestly ready to smack one or both of them for making major decisions without talking to their partner.
At first I couldn't tell what either of these characters were really feeling but about halfway through the book it became clear. Storyline was good, characters well developed, sex was hot. A little bit of danger included in story but it all ends with an HEA.
I love a book with a heroine that had a backbone. Liv is strong willed and smart. Bash was her perfect counterpart. Alpha strong, fierce and loving. I LOVED them together. I enjoyed this story very much and look forward to reading more in this series.
Nice plot and interesting having both POVs. Nice chemistry between the couple - though storyline became a little ludicrous at some point. Not much else to add about it really. Solid 3 stars
It was a good book but the abusive ex was basically forgotten about for the whole book, when the whole premise was about her getting away from him. Then you have the oh-so-wonderful exclamations of love after knowing each other for about a week /sarcasm. Otherwise it wasn't bad
This book had a great storyline and even I like great sex scene but the sex scenes in this story went so long that I found myself scrolling through them. Kept my attention though.
It's been a few years since I read the first two books in this. Ever got the last one. Finally I finished to see how it all ended. Not disappointed at ending.
This book is one drama filled moment after another! They seem to keep having all these problems along the way to their happiness. Well written and easy to read.
Not a swoon you have your feet romantic sloppy story but a real life ain't all made of roses story. Olivia a spoilt little rich girl gets in trouble, Bash a fighter who is scraping by on jobs and struggling to keep his gym open manages to tangle himself in Olivia's trouble, he gets himself into loads of trouble in doing that. I loved both the characters in the Book Olivia reminds me of me (although not at the start when she was weak) but in the end she is strong headed and don't put up with no rubbish! Bash hmmmm well he is hot, so darn hot I wouldn't mind finding his gym ;) highly recommend and am not going back to reading book two x
