Published in 1997, the 'ABC British Airways' is the 2nd edition of a short fact guide to the famous airline, the first edition having been published in 1993. It contains a potted history of BA from the merger of BEA and BOAC that created it, as well as data about each aircraft type operated by it, plus a summary of previously operated types and a list of associated airlines. A listing of every aircraft currently in service with BA and its associated airlines is also included. This is supported by over 80 photos, some in colour. This is a lot of info to pack into a small format paperback with less than 100 pages, but it does so quite well notwithstanding the fact that the info provided would get out of date very quickly.
