This is a great book. Wendy is a wedding planer who has been accused of murder. She didn't do it.
I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited. This in no way affects my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

This was a quick read which never allows for a strong character development in a single book. The plot has to move quickly and for a mystery lover, that usually means I get to read the story but not really get to solve it with the main character because clues are generally pretty sparse. When I started the book, I wasn't sure I would like it; it was pretty standard - my entire life got turned on end, what will I do now? But I was pleasantly surprised; the book was cute and a decent read. I enjoyed the author's style of writing, although there were several typos and a character being introduced as if the reader should know him, when he hadn't been named prior. Thankfully, it was easy to figure out who this person was as I read a bit further. Overall, a decent book, especially being such a short read.

This was such a sweet start for a series, well despite all the awful stuff that happened to Wendy in the beginning. But she met a nice new guy who really seemed to like her a lot, and she’d helped a special couple with their happily ever after. Wendy’s boss wasn’t a nice person, but since Wendy was the only suspect, she and Brian worked nearly non-stop to figure things out. Luckily they had a little help and while the showdown was tense, I could tell everything was gonna be fine. Can’t wait to borrow the next book and watch Wendy and Brian’s new friendship blossom.

Fired and dumped, Wendy decides that this was an opportunity to start her own wedding planning business. When her former boss whom she was seen arguing with, turns up dead, Wendy becomes the prime suspect. With the help of a handsome P.I, Wendy tries to round up the suspects to find the real killer. Funny how even though Wendy was at risk of going to jail for life, she was still planning a client’s perfect wedding. A good mystery!

Liked she really believes in her job as a great wedding planner not just for the fee. Lots of bad actors and a murder. It is also Roma tic.

I am kind of getting tired of these stories. Almost every series the main female character falls for a police officer or in this case a private detective. It is getting a little old. I only have two more of stories and after that I think I am done with this author.

Murder and romance - what could be better!

Fun to read, can't wait to read the next book in this series! Wendy is so likeable and human.... Adding a hunk like Brian was the icing on the cake. Just hope he's in the next book!

This was a very quick read, The short book length, however, was just right for the story. The pace fit the plot and the characters were fun and interesting. I will get the next one. It was a great snack - tasty & entertaining.

Nicely Written

I enjoyed the book very much. Wendy seemed like a caring wedding planner. And Brian seemed to like Wendy. Nicely done.
