This was definitely one of, if not the funniest volume of Haikyu!! so far! I think mainly it was because of Bokuto because he's such an airhead (his meltdown in the match was hilarious) but also because the teams were just so chilled out towards the end of the training camp which was nice to see them acting so casually and having a good laugh at the barbecue!

Things we learnt from this volume:
I'm fully obsessed with Bokuto, that's definitely something I learnt whilst reading this,
Suga calling Asahi 'The Bearded Negativity Nelly' has officially made my day,
HINATA AND KAGEYAMA ARE FRIENDS AGAIN... kinda... I mean have those two ever really been 'friends' in the first place?
The cogs are finally fitting into place and I know I say it in nearly every review of this series but IM SO PROUD OF KARASUNO!!

So the most intense arc from the anime is about to start in the next volume and I'm NOT PREPARED even though I know what happens...
Bring it on Haruichi Farudate!

Holy shit, I love this series so much. I'm absolutely devastated it's taken me this long to read it, but it is so, SO worth it.

Don't have much to say, aside from how much I FUCKING LOVE the characters. Everyone is fun and interesting on their own, but they really shine when certain groups/individuals are together (ex. Bokuto and Hinata, Kenma and Kuroo, and Nishinoya with pretty much anyone). The greatest compliment I can give to a series is that I love almost all of the characters in it and Haikyu definitely doesn't disappoint. They may not be the most complex or have the most tragic backstory, but they are a fuck ton of fun to be around and that's just as good!

I'm sadly going to have to wait until a sale occurs online before I can buy more volumes, but you can bet I'm gonna make this a priority!

Aaahhh spring tournament preliminaries are finally here.. im so scared. I swear to god if they dont win. I love how Bokuto treats Tsukishama and Hinata like his children its so cute. Also gotta love Yaichi and Kiyoko’s relationship. <3 Their hardwork is also starting to pay off and finally Tsukishama is taking volleyball more seriously. (And the little scene with him and his bother is adorable as fuckk!!)

Karasuno continue to get their butts kicked during a sweltering week at Tokyo training camp, but the team is not deterred! They continue to challenge each other to work harder, and even play extra 3 on 3 games in the evenings in mixed groups with players from other teams. Bokuto teaches Hinata a secret new technique which Hinata immediately uses against him :P

I think this has been my least favourite volume of Haikyu so far, I wasn't nearly as invested in the rival teams as I have been in the past and that took away from the experience a bit.

Wow, I love Bokuto so much! And Akaashi and Kuroo and Kenma. Honestly I love all of these characters and this volume was probably one of the my favourites. It's so cool seeing all of these teams hang out and help each other out!

The practice interlude between tournaments reaches its well done but unremarkable conclusion. There is good character interaction, but the story just seems to be checking off some boxes on a plot chart, laying the groundwork for developments that will occur during the next tournament sequence. Y'know, just like practice should.

Though a few favorites are saying goodbye for now, I'm ready to see some of my favorite games in action here in the manga. We're in for some big ones.

I didn't think I could love all these guys more then I already do, but after reading this volume, I do. <3

I'm just filled with so much thankfulness for this series! It truly is a special one and so thankful to be reading the series and not just have watched the anime only.

This volume was another excellent one and laughed SO much! Bokuto is truly awesome and will never not laugh at his antics. He really does make you want to cheer for him even if he is on the other team.

It was so fantastic seeing those "gears" coming together and become more polished. I love how wild Karasuno's offense is and how you never know what to expect next. They have so many great players and love every single one of them!

The barbecue scene was EPIC! I liked Lev more in this one. I also liked Akasshi more and have a greater understanding of why he really is so cool. I love the scene with Tsukki and his brother. I LOVED that panel of Hinata's sister hugging him! SO cute!

Overall, another fantastic volume! Bummed the training arc has come to an end, but I know this series will continue to be super epic!

I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times. This series never ceases to amaze me and keep me in love with all involved, the story, the characters, everything. This volume, as shown on the cover, goes more into Fukurodani, Nekoma, as well as other schools. Bokuto is my favourite character, and shows us more of him, Akaashi, and the Fukurodani boys. Karasuno is nearing the end of the training camp with the other schools, trialing all new tricks to boost their team’s power. Overall, a fun 5 star read for the Haikyu! Series.

Now Karasuno has another new weapon in their arsenal. If perfected, it's gonna be very effective. Their synchro attack and emergency set is also coming along pretty nicely. The spring tournament is right around the corner and our heroes are ready to rumble. Oh yeah!
