My name is Jane and I write under the name of J A Heron.

I live in a small town called Burton on Trent, Staffordshire in the middle of England. This lovely little town is famous for making beer, and I have called it home since I was born.

I have a daughter called Shelby and although I was a young mother, I couldn't be more proud of the beautiful young lady I have raised, I was eighteen years old when she came into my life, and I love her more than anything in the world.

I am quite a positive person, and with some of the hardships I have encountered over the years has made me a stronger person. I lost my mum to cancer over ten years ago, and although I lost my best friend that day I believe in my heart that she would be proud of me.

I started writing because of my love for books, but also, because of my disability. I was a bit of a medical miracle you see, I survived, when I really shouldn't have. And whilst my illness left me with some lasting effects, it also left me with a new outlook, determination and confidence that I could do it, so I did!
I have loved reading for a number of years now, and my only regret is that I wish I had read more as a youngster. I believe it is very important to teach children the love of books from an early age, the earlier the better in my opinion.

I am in a relationship with a wonderful man called Ian. He is very supportive of my writing and calls me 'his clever girl', for some reason this always makes me blush. Ian and my daughter know when to give me some space to write, they know that I can become quite tetchy when in the zone. But they also know that I need an endless supply of coffee, and maybe some chocolate thrown into the mix.

I believe in my work, I believe in my stories, and I hope you do too...trust me, there's a lot more to come!

As a side note
508!!! x fuck, fucks, fucking, fucked, fucker, fuckers, fucktard *speechless*

When I saw that author J.A. Heron has been influenced by E.L. James, I was slightly worried but I said to myself that every writer deserves a chance. Sadly, it took me several hours to make it to the 8% mark. And instead of torturing myself any longer, I decided to abandon ship after Day Three. I gotta say it was agony and I can't for the life of me imagine how I would have made it through THIRTY DAYS of that kind of rubbish unscathed. Fact is, it doesn't make any sense to put the book down all the time and keep on reading at snail's pace. Now you might wonder what did not work for me...

A)
The writing is horribly amateurish.

B)
The narrative is beyond trivial.

C)
The "heroine" is a vapid and dumb number and instead of whining about her daddy *shudder*, she should grow the fuck hell up and act like a twenty-four-year-old ADULT.

D)
The "hero" is an idiotic jerk.

E)
The sex? Friggin' awful. Where is my chastity belt?

F)
Frankly, I'm wondering if this book has seen an editor's office. If yes, then he/she has done a very shoddy job and should get fired.

THE QUOTES

Keep in mind that I have quoted word for word. I did not edit anything at all. Also, pay attention to the strange punctuation:

I look over towards Joanna and she smiles a low grin…

What's a low grin? Please elaborate.

The band take to the stage, and the lead singer announces them, …

I willing to bet money that it was a knife wound...

The band take a break and most...

"Yeah it's fine, I'm getting into it now. I know he likes us to make sure your safe".

Grammar is a bitch. *sigh*

He looks me up and down, and I feel his gaze burning my skin. Did he just check me out? I fucking hope so. I see his expression change from what I thought was lechery, to something very cold indeed. "I'm sure you can, but I have orders", his tone is glacial and I shiver.

Joanna joins me after the band return to the stage for their second set, and the place really starts to rock. We walk towards the dance floor, and the people part for me like Moses parting the Red Sea.

…that someone has probably lost their life due to murder or a drugs overdose at the…

Joanna and I are rocking on the dance floor, I rarely get any attention form any guys, that's because they all know who I am and they get scared that they might lose their bollocks if they so much as look at me in a lustful way.

Fucking great, another chance of being fucked has been dampened. I really could have gone for this guy, he looked really sweet but drop dead gorgeous and I was looking forward to doing him.

He must have balls made out of solid rock, or has no clue who I am. He leans down to kiss me, and I welcome his lips with my own, as soon as his lips touch mine, I thrust my tongue in his mouth and try to eat him alive. I feel the moist heat between my thighs, and my knickers dampen immediately. "Come on", I say and grab his hand, this opportunity is not going to pass me by.

Joanna looked ok, but Dariana looked smoking hot, and she could have had any guy in the place, but no one approached her initially, and I knew it was because of her fathers reputation around these parts. She was wearing a black dress that was so short I swear I could see her arse cheeks, and I'm pretty sure she wasn't wearing any underwear. Her hair falls in soft long waves way past her shoulders, and it's a mousy brown color with blonde highlights that glowed under the muted lights of the bar, she looked striking.

The author is switching tenses from past to present within the same paragraph.

Strange, because I'm sure if the boss finds out about this then we will all be a shit load of trouble, but like I said 'trouble' is my middle name.

My cock turned to stone in a fraction of a second.

Cool. Baba takes a hammer and…oops…the dick is crumbling to pieces.

I guess he shot his muck.

I was still stood there with a raging hard on, and I had no idea what possessed me, but my next move surprised even me, like I said I sometimes have a death wish.
I walked over to her and kissed her, our lips crashed together, and she made a whimper that shoved my libido into overdrive, fuck me this girl is hot.
"Will you make me come?" She asked me. "That guy couldn't find my clit even if I gave him a map and compass", she said with a wicked smile. My cock sprang to life again, and I couldn't say no. We fucked like bunnies and now I'm in so much trouble for that shit, I'm a dead man, what fucking seized hold of my control to do that? She did come though…twice.

Chas is so hot. So fucking hot, steam came off him while he was pounding into my willing flesh. I definitely want more where that came from. There's something about him that awakens my intrigue, his dark hair, dark eyes and tanned skin make my pussy clench involuntary, I'm craving him again right now.

Dink had no idea what we'd been up to, we walked out of that room separately and behaved like nothing was out of the ordinary. Inside though, I was dancing for fucking joy. It's been a long time since anyone took me with such force, and made me want to scream, but Chas was fucking amazing and I didn't want it to end.

I cover my burning face with my hands and try to calm the raging hormones racing around my body right now, "I'm fine", I say with a small smile. I need Mrs Hunter to drop this subject.

"Morning princess", dad says placing a kiss on top of my head and sitting down in his throne, that's the extent of my fathers affection towards me. I get a shitty pet name, and a quick peck on the head like I'm fucking ten years old. I long to be treated like an adult, and not a silly little girl.

Too bad that you are a silly little girl.

We sit in silence eating breakfast and drinking coffee, he's reading the newspaper and I'm staring out the window overlooking the East side. The air is thick with hate for my father, and I hope he doesn't sense the hate I feel for him. I don't think he does.

"I don't know yet, daddy, I might go shopping later if that's ok with you?" I may as well play up to the sweet and innocent persona I portray everyday.
"Of course, you can take one of the guys with you". Please say Chas, please say Chas, I say to myself over and over. I really want his body next to mine, and I think we could be really good together. My prayers are answered when the buzzer sounds to say someone is down in the lobby.
(…)
When Mrs Hunter opens it, in walks Norman with Chas, and my mouth instantly produces too much saliva and I am forced to swallow the excess immediately. He looks fucking amazing in a dark charcoal suit with a red tie. He could be the CEO of a large company, and I instantly think of my book boyfriends, those guys that you read about and swoon over, he is perfection.

Yes, I think red should do the trick, I hope he likes red. I slip on my bra and knickers, and pull out a red summer maxi dress, it's silk and flows like it too.

Who cares anyway?

I see something in his eyes resembling a mixture of lust, and a sex maniac lurking deep within him.
"Let's go". He says in a sultry voice, and my knickers pool with moisture, this guy is gonna do me so good I know it.

"Where to Miss Walsh?" He says calmly, and I get the feeling he's fighting his control over the heat of this situation, but I don't want him to be controlled, I want him raw and fast and hard and right fucking now, my impatience is hard to control, and I feel the longing between us both.
"Let's go somewhere where we can fuck all day long," I say with as much sexiness in my voice.

Chas is driving…

I reach over and grab him, and to my surprise he is rock hard. I grasp tightly around his cock, and he briefly closes his eyes and sighs.
"Eyes on the road baby". I tell him, and it's like he suddenly remembers he's supposed to be doing something, and he shoots his eyes open. I see him struggling to focus on the road, and I really don't want to end up in hospital for causing an accident so I remove my hand. He looks over towards me.
"You want me cock?"
"Fuck yeah!"
"Then you shall have it", he says with that fucking grin. Hurry the fuck up. I'm sitting in the passenger seat silently cursing all the morning rush hour traffic. I still have no idea where he's taking me, and I hope we arrive soon. I don't care if we check in at the nearest hotel, as long as there is somewhere private that I can fuck this guy until he passes out.
We seem to be driving for hours, and the lust I have been feeling has taken me over so much that I don't even know where we are. He drives up a lane, that seems to out in the middle of nowhere, "where are we?" I ask him, but he doesn't answer he just grins at me and my knickers explode.

Boom! Tad writing.

I know I was blessed with a larger than average dick, and I can usually make the girls scream my name. But I fully intend making this hot bitch scream the fucking house down. I will bang her until she is sore, and she begs me to stop.

 photo oie_hvicRqrlCx2o_zpsjkar3w86.gif

When it falls to the floor and I see the red lingerie she's wearing my dick is uncontrollably hard, and it hurts like a bastard. I pull her forcefully to my chest and we clash mouths, and the whimper she makes jolts my dick again and I feel like it could burst out of my trousers at any second, it's begging to be set free.

I guess it's time to go back to a favorite author or do a reread…maybe? I'm reading a novella by Anne Calhoun. If anyone knows how to write sensuous, tasteful and hot sex scenes, then it's Anne who's among the very best erotic romance authors, IMO.

I gave up at 8% but curiosity got the better of me and I did a…um…little research and fast-forwarded to 13%.

More quotes:

His hands rest on my shoulders, and they move slowly down my arms, and the goose bumps appear as if by magic, I have no control over those little lumps of pleasure, and they feel amazing.

She fits in my arms perfectly, as if we're made for each other and the smell of her skin, her hair and her pussy invade my nostrils. It feels like I'm addicted to drugs or something because all I want is more of her, her pheromones are my heroin.

I push her knees as far as they will go and I lap the taste of her with a few swirls of my tongue.

I release her from the harsh treatment of her nipples and she sighs at the feeling of loss. I turn her around still smothering her in my arms until we're standing toe to toe, and face to face with our lips merely millimetres apart. Her warm sweet breath is stroking my lips, and I know I would die if I don't taste that sweetness soon. I gently press my lips against hers, and I slip my tongue inside her mouth wanting to sample the flavour she is offering. Our tongues do battle, and when she sucks hard on my tongue I lose it.

My cock is rock solid. I need to ram her and detonate my seed inside her. Fuck a condom, I don't care right now all I want is skin on skin and to give her all my come.

I come on a loud moan, and I'm pretty sure that my lustful tone pushed her over the edge again as I feel her bearing down on my cock.
"Fuck that was amazing, you're amazing. I'm sorry but I didn't use a condom. We're safe…right?" I ask her, and I know it's foolish to screw unprotected and then ask about the consequences after the act. But my feelings for her are uncontrollable and the last thing I thought about is running upstairs to grab a sheath when all I want is to fuck her senseless.

I can't even.

Movin' on…

I was extremely lucky and proud to be able to be one of the first few to read this. Jane, you did it again and this time you've blown my socks off!

I do believe FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC springs to mind!

This book had it all, lust, betrayal, murder, revenge and a whole life time of lies.

Meet Dariana Walsh, the beautiful daughter of mobster boss Wilson Walsh, and Wilson is one evil bastard!! Dariana can't stand her father and his controlling ways but since it's just her and him she doesn't have much of a choice to let him control her and play the past of doting daughter. All that changes when she meets the gorgeous Chas who is currently working for her father. Chas isn't all he's made out to be and Dariana must make a choice, either help Chas in his mission to bring down her father for good or sit back and continue to have her life controlled by Walsh.

30 days is without a doubt one of the best erotic thrillers I have read and Jane keeps you hooked with the twists. this book also made me ugly cry so you may need tissues handy.

A well deserved 5 stars!

Dariana’s father is a monster of a man. He is maddeningly ruthless, with no regards for anything or anyone other than himself. He is set on ruling the city. Dariana wants out from her father’s thumb. Chas is seemingly working for Walsh but he has own agenda, to take Walsh down. Chas has orders to get Dariana on his side, when they meet the spark of attraction between them cannot be ignored. If you want to know what happens next get your copy today!

30 Days with Dariana was an emotional roller coaster ride. There is betrayal, revenge, lots of steamy sex, torture, double crosses and in the middle of the chaos two people find the love that neither thought they would ever experience. Kudos to Ms. Heron for not writing a cookie cutter book. This may sound like other books out there, but let me assure it is not.

Can I just start by saying OH MY GOD!

Anyway...

This story contains strong sexual and violent scenes. I recommend this if you like dark stories and if you're over 18!!

This book is completely different to what I'm used to reading but it has everything good that I LOVE...incredible characters, chemistry between characters, emotions and an amazing plot. I was a bit worried at first about reading it as its a dark story but I'm glad I'm glad I did.

I LOVED that Dariana is a such a strong woman after everything she goes through and I love that she has the sexy and loving Chas with her.

That ending though...oh god I was in tears, I still am. I'm not going to get over this book anytime soon.

Gripping, emotional and raw!

4.5 stars! It’s not often that my emotions are put through the wringer to the extent that they were in J A Heron’s 30 Days! The experience left me with a sense of what the f*** have I just read! This erotic thriller contained greed, lust, murder, violence (including sexual violence) and torture which was sometimes difficult to read. The darkness was tempered by the love of Dariana for Chas, the man who was contracted to bring down her heartless and borderline sociopathic gangland father, Walsh.

Dariana is a young woman who, since the death of her mother, has been brought up by her father, a man without pity, love or morals, whose only aim in life is to rise to the top and maintain his position amongst the gangs of London’s East End. Dariana despises her father as she knows full well where his wealth comes from and suspects that he had a role in her mother’s death. We feel her sense of anger and hopelessness in the early chapters of the book as she chafes against her father’s control and I rejoiced when she escaped into the arms of Chas and commits to working with him to bring her father down.

Chas is a real hottie and it is easy to see why Dariana would fall for him. It was always his plan to get her on his side and he never expected to find his soul mate. Their growing relationship is beautiful to witness and is passionate and intense. Dariana enjoys Chas’ dominant nature, although she is spunky and gives as good as she gets! I enjoyed their verbal sparring and their sizzling lovemaking scenes. The metamorphisis of Dariana as the novel unfolds is profound and I especially liked how Chas gave her confidence in her self.

Yet secrets and lies abound in this dark read which unfolds through both Dariana’s and Chas’ POV. I will not reveal much about the plot, but suffice to say it has many twists and turns and I had no way of guessing where it was going to end. I will say that you will need a box of Kleenex handy as the author certainly knows how to play with the reader’s emotions. Please note, a copy of the book was given to me by the author for the purpose of a fair and honest review.

I received this book in exchange for a honest review!
I loved this book, I really don't know where to start with talking about it. Let me just say first that I feel privileged to have been chosen to read this book before it releases.
This book has everything in it for me, fantastic characters, mystery, chemistry between characters, and a great plot.
I don't think I had a favourite character, I loved all of them, (All the good characters anyway) they each have their own unique qualities. Chas, he is strong, sexy, protective, and loyal. I loved him from the start. Even though he kept secrets from Dariana I can understand why. Dariana, she is such a strong female character and I personally love this in a book. I love when the females are sometimes stronger then the males. I hate whinny females, but she defiantly wasn't one. She stands up for what she believes in, and tries to protects everyone around her.
This characters felt very real to me, I could get where they were coming from. I could get a picture in my head of what was going on as I was reading along. There is very good detail in this book. I got very attached to these characters and I now feel like I can't go start another book any time soon. Book hangover for sure. :(
My favourite part of the book is when Dariana and Johanna go back to their fathers and kill them both. They deserved to die but the girls also deserved to do it after all that they have been through at the hands of their fathers.
This book was very emotional for me. I cried from the moment Chas got shot until I finished the book and then another 10 minutes. I couldn't stop the tears that came. This is such a sad ending and they didn't deserve any of it. I am happy that we got a bit of information on what happened to the other characters down the line.
This story gripped me from the beginning. I just didn't want to put it down. I loved reading every second and I just didn't know where it would take me.

This was a great read for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would read it again. The author did a fantastic job of gripping you from the first chapter until the very end.
I would recommend this book to everyone. Give it a try, it will be totally worth it! I promise.

5/5 Star Rating!!

I was given this book to read in turn for an honest review!!!

Contains strong sexual and violent scenes ~ over 18's only.

Dariana is the daughter of Wilson Walsh a well known gangster, he has contacts everywhere, and he is a ruthless heartless man who stops at nothing to get what he wants. All Dariana wants is to be treated like an adult, but feeling trapped she does as her father tells her.

Chas works for Walsh but he isn’t who he seems. He wants revenge and he has a plan to get just that. When forces unite they have one mission, to take down the ruthless unrelenting man who currently walks the streets of East London as if he owns them.

Dariana falls for Chas and hard, soon she joins forces to take down the man she calls her father. Chas has a job to do but he never thought he would fall for the daughter of the man he has been hired to take down. Chas is determined to make sure that Wilson Walsh does not harm anyone else.

This story does start out a little slow, but J.A. Heron kept me intrigued by making me wonder where the plot was going. I initially felt that the characters were lacking true emotion. The spark between Dariana and Chas seemed forced. Also, when Dariana was angry at her father the emotion of anger wasn’t really brought out in the descriptions or character actions.

As the story evolves these emotions seem to develop so the author did improve towards the middle. I just wish it has been consistent throughout. Dariana and Chas do eventually grow in character development and they are amazing together.

Chas is a hot sexy hero; Dariana is a tough and sexy female. The story full of surprises and plot twists. That is one thing that I can guarantee you will not be disappointed about; this story has plenty of drama and suspense.

If you love a story full of drama, suspense, hot sex and don’t mind violent scenes then you may want to take a look at this book.

*************************** FIVE HUGE WELL DESERVED STARS ****************************

I started out on this book with hi expectations... Well it's J Heron who wouldn't... Well the lady did not disappoint... The writing is of the charts amazing... It has you gripped beginning to end, there's drama, there's angst, there's a female lead that's tough as hell, and there's a male lead so hot he makes you melt.

Dariana has been protected and sheltered all her life or so her Father thinks, but Dariana has her own plan in life REVENGE!!! But who will be on the receiving end?, the sweet girl is no more she's tough as hell and ready to fight, ready to make her life exactly what she wants it to be.

Then we meet Chas, he's sexy he's charming but he isn't what you think he is not by a long way, he also has a plan in life and it's his ultimate goal he can't and won't stop.... Nothing and nobody will derail his plans... Until Dariana this woman turns chas upside and inside out they share a bond so deep you'll be living in hope of finding a love like theirs.

I'm not one for giving book spoilers all I will say is there's twists and turns to be had so sit back and enjoy the ride. Did I love this book hell yes.... Did I love the plot bloody hell yes.... Am I looking forward to more books by this awesome lady damn right I am this lady has serious writing talent how could I not be.

**Reviewed by Susan on behalf of Ladies Living in Bookland

When I received '30 Days...' With the warning that it was violent, bloody and graphic I didn't really stop to question whether or not to read it, because J A Herons two previous books have been so incredible. How could I not?!

Was I disappointed? No! This was a different feel to the first to books (Bezella and Alias) but continued to drag me in, mess with my emotions, question everything I thought I knew and through it back at me.

Dariana meets Chas they are a match made in heaven but to say Darianas father was a little controlling is puting it lightly! The mafia-style boss was in tight control of everyone and everything but Dariana was given an escape. But not for long.
---------
Excerpt:
That is for the pain you caused the love of my life, the man who taught me love, respect and strength. The man who taught me more in one month, than you ever did in Twenty Four years”.
-----------

I don't want to spoil this book for anyone, but it's a truly incredible book that you have no idea what is around the next corner. J A Heron just keeps amazing me and I'm very proud to have read all three of her books. Each as brilliant as the next. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next! A fab start, with a fab book to 2015 for me!

(Five stars don't do this book justice)

This was a different read for me, I usually stick to light erotic romance, darker reads aren't usually my cup of tea, but I have to say that Heron did an excellent job in convincing me that I was missing out with this book. I think as it's not my usual style, I found it hard to get into to start, but once I did, man was it gripping. Heron has one creative and twisted mind!! London mobsters, one spunky heroine and bad ass sexy hero, guns, knives, murder, assault, brutality and kidnapping, hot sex, this had all of that in spades. I'm not going to say anything more about the characters or plot, you can read her synopsis for that, as there are a few twists in the story and I don't want to give anything away. BUT the last 10% of the book was emotional, raw and completely brutal. I don't often get moved to tears reading a book, but I was sobbing my eyes out and had to take a break, then I return to finish, only for Heron to make me do it again, damn her! If you're looking for an easy, soft and fluffy romance, steer clear. If you want gritty, hard, hitting, no holds barred, do anything for each other kind of love, grab yourself a copy. A well-deserved 4.5 stars from me.

I was given this book for an honest review .
This book is for 18's and over due to sexual and violent nature.
What can I say about this book so as not to give away the ending lol .
I have read every book Jane has written and find her writing skills very addictive , she has you glued to your seat with every page. This book is alot darker to what she has written before, but I was told this before I started reading it so went in with open eyes :).
I love all the charachters in the book but i especially love Dariana and Chas and the chemistry between the 2, its explosive.I love the way Dariana turns into such a strong empowered woman.
There are alot of secrets and twists in the book that will take you on an emotional rollercoaster be prepared to get the tissues to hand because if you have a heart you will definitely need them.
Another great book written by J.A Heron, I am going to look forward to reading more from this fantastic Author.

OMG. A dark and dangerous book from the versatile J.A. Heron. This is completely different to her first two books. A nitty gritty bloody and fantastic read. I absolutely loved it. Took me on a rollercoaster of emotions, kept me guessing and really made me think. I thought I had it sussed then bam, hit with a twist. So many things I didn't see coming but a few I did.

Love does conker all even if it doesn't go the way you wanted it to. I've felt the hurt, the anguish, the fear, the stress and the loss. Even though this is not a mushy mushy hearts and flowers kind of book, I still shed a tear or two. This book does drag you in, I was hooked from the first line. I nearly starved my kids of a sunday roast as I got totally sucked into Dariana's world. ( I realised before my babies starved and their dinner wasn't even burnt :) ).

If you only read one book of J.A. Heron"s, make it this one.

Have you ever read a book that pulled out your heart and crushed it? And you are so devastated by it you can't read another book? And you can't pull yourself out of the world the author created?

30 Days was that kind of book for me. I was not expecting the ending of this book and was so upset and distraught I needed to stop reading for the day and watch TV in order to cope with my feelings. I loved and hated this book... but in the end, it left me speechless. When I finally started talking - it wasn't calmly, in fact, I was yelling at my fiance. However, by now, he is pretty used to my rantings and random shouting at or about my books/kindle.

It has taken a day to finally be calm enough to write this review. Of course, I had to rate it 5 stars after having my heart ripped out. I guess I am just a sucker for pain.

I was given an ARC of this story for my honest review. Now since I live in the US I did have a little.difficulty at first figuring what some words meant. But after that I absolutely loved this story. Dariana's dad is a monster and keeps her basically held captive so.that he can watch her. He believes she is his princess and that he owns her. But Chas has other plans for.her and shows her what.its like to.be away from dearest daddy. She loves the freedom ans she loves Chas. There are secrets and OMG moments throughout this story and The ending isn't like other that you would think. It brings you to tears throughout the story, great love story with an unexpected ending. love.how she even gives two epilogues at the end. Love Love Love this story. Great Job!

Just finished this book. It's a great read. I didn't want to put it down until I knew what was going to happen. This is NOT a light read. The author gives us a little warning. I enjoy dark reads so this was up my alley.
It was suspenseful and mysterious. It had revenge and felt me feeling satisfied at the end. The ENDING, I had tears in running down my face-Not giving away spoilers is hard.
Loved the characters. Chaz and Dariana were meant for each other. They were hot and sexy for each other. They loved each other, the author did a good job of making me feel it. The secondary characters played a huge part too. Great epilogue, it pulled everything together whether you liked it or not. I'm glad I found this author. Looking forward to reading more from her.

I was gifted this book in return for a truthful review. This book has some sexual scenes, violence, and abuse. If this is not your slice of pie, you better choose the no dessert option.

This book was amazing! At the beginning it took me a little bit to get where the book was goin, but once I did there was no going back. I loved the characters and how they interested with each other. If I could be in love with a fictional character it would for sure be Chas Reynolds. J.A. Heron touched me with her writing. This book has stayed with me long past the final page.

INTRIGUING, SUSPENSEFUL, AND HEART WARMING!

One of those books you fall back on repeatedly to read again. Great job J.A. Heron loved your writing, and can't wait to dive into your next book.

I was gifted this for my honest review, This is a story filled with mobster life in London, Dariana was born into it but her father was the boss, she hated her life in it even though she had the best of everything she had no mother, no freedom, she was sent to her room nothing was discussed in front of her, but there was no love. This is not the for the faint hearted, it is full of twisted people, violence, abuse of the innocent, raw and brutal but amongst that she falls in love. the story unfolds that will have you hating some of the characters but admiring the strength of others and I can guarantee you will need tissues. It is an amazing story that has you gripped where you feel the emotions and that is down to J Heron and her writing ability, a definite brilliant read.

30 days J.A Heron- This is not the type of book that I would normally read but somehow I won this. Think 50 shades meets gangland warfare with some gritty and believable characters in. Too much sex and profanities for me, however I did know what the book was like before I opened it. As I said not my normal read.
That said, this is a gripping plot. The daughter of the Gang boss falls for one of his men thinking it will be just a one night stand. He turns out to be someone completely different and things take a turn for the worse or better depending which part you are reading! (I won’t spoil it!).
A well thought out, clever scenario with excellent characters if you can get past the Language and “activity”!

I just finished this book and I'm sitting trying to find the words.

First off I loved it!!! I couldn't put the book down was on the edge of my seat not sure what to expect at every turn it would twist another way.

I laughed and cried and felt heartbroken. But why???? No no no this is a mistake. I know books don't always end how you want and you think it will then you get slipped with a wtf moment that leaves you crushed.

This book was a totally different read to my usual books, at first I struggled, but all the time wanted to read more, wanting to get to the next day to see what happened.

This story comes alive in your mind, the brutal side of it and the emotional side of it. it's so gripping you don't want to put it down, it is well written and the details are amazing, things like this really do happen.

well done J A Heron on an amazing story. I loved it!

A great storyline, I fell in love with Dariana in the first few pages, such a sassy, feisty girl with a smart mouth, Chas was a great character, so hard and strong (Swoon). I loved that this was set in London with a Gangster type storyline. So many twists in this book, if this story doesn't make you cry, the epilogue will.
I'd recommend this book and will read more by this Author.

Good story. Lots of sex and violence. The story is a little bit twisted and at some point there is length to the developing story, that in my opionion could have been avoid. But there is a beautiful love story unfolding amidst the treachery of her evil father. The end got me emotional. Heartbreaking ending.

This book started out really good !! I guess it just wasn't for me . I found myself skimming through a lot of the avoidable details and the sex scenes were very repetitive and a little dull . But will definitely try another from this author
