In the beginning, her life was bland. Like she was living in a world lacking color. Nothing stood out. Nothing seemed to matter.
Then, with one single drop, the colorless world she lived in burst into something more. Something vibrant, and brave.
He was that drop, the one that shook the foundation of her life to its' core. He unraveled to her that was suffocating in a world she didn't belong in. He was the color she'd been searching for.
He was the reason everything began, and the reason why everything ended.
Finally finished this book. It took me a looong time to finish because it was hard to get into it. I didn't hate it, but it had a lot of grammar errors, which I could overlook if the book had a good story. This book was just okay.
Five fabulous stars!!! WOW!! Crushed drew me in from the beginning. Sophia's life was so mysterious and thrilling and dangerous. Edge of our seat excitement throughout every chapter!
This is my first book review, so bear with me. I feel compelled to review this book because there are only a handful of reviews and most are from people who didn't even finish reading it. Yes, there are many typographical errors. Many. But if you can get passed them, you'll find a really good story. The author does great with character development and keeps the story moving forward while giving you glimpses of their past. It has suspense and romance and will make you laugh and cry. I honestly couldn't put it down.
I chose this book initially because it was free but as I started reading and the story began to unfold I couldn't put this book down. Who ever the editor was, did not do a good job proofing but the story was fabulous! Definitely a must read, and I will definitely be reading some more books from this author. She has a gift to know when to shift the story to keep you on the edge of your seat. It was like watching a movie play out in your mind through her words and would make a great movie.
not being a "reviewer"....I must say this was a very good read! It did take a good bit to start really grabbing my attention and like everyone else noticed, MANY grammatical errors, however the writing and the storyline was wonderful!! Had a really hard time putting it down...all the way to the end!!! All in all...I would definitely give it a 4 star without any qualms!
Great story, kept me turning the page until the end. I would caution everyone the grammar mistakes are horrible. Also it seems no one bothered to read the book first- the wrong word is frequently used like "is" instead of "it" or "they" instead of "there" (no I did not mean their) great story someone should have just read it before publishing it.
Beautiful novel spun around and round throughout the eyes of a young girl caught up in a world of art thieves. Every moment, leaves you on edge, losing sleep waiting to find out the ending. Fast paced, it jeeps you captivated, up until the final word.
Perfect for an adventure living, stand alone novel reader!!!!!
I found the storyline and characters intriguing and interesting. Unfortunately, the poor editing, grammatical errors and misspellings made the read extremely distracting, choppy, and distracting.
I really enjoyed this story. It was a story that is out of the ordinary and not something typical that is usually seen. At times I was surprised and didn't see things coming! I definitely enjoyed reading Sophie's journey!!
This story took me for a ride. I never knew what was going to really happen next. With all the twist and turns and emotional rollercoaster I was glad for the happy ending.
I had a hard time sticking with this book. Besides it being slow moving there were so many spelling and grammatical errors! I was happy when it finally came to an end.
I enjoyed reading this book. I didn't expect it to be about thiefs. Its very emotional. I am glad it was one book. Perfect ending. I am glad I read it!
