okay so i watched this tv show (mostly bc andrew garfield was in it and bc i have a weird obsession with learn about niche religions/cults) and when i learned it was based on a book i had to read it. it definitely took me a while to get through; it was gruesome and horrifying at times, and im not really sure i learned all that much useful information but i sure did learn !
