Disappointing to see Hori acting like a cliche psycho girlfriend, flipping out every time her guy says hi to a girl or gets a phone call from someone she doesn't know. They were such good friends, why did the author have to choose this direction? I'm not a fan of Miyamura's new fashion conformity, either.
I did like that Hori sticks up for her friends, though. You know those scenes where the tiny cute girl character explodes into a ragebeast and people around her go toppling over? I had usually taken those as comic effect, but apparently here at least is is literal -- in the following scenes we can see that Hori has scraped knuckles, which I don't think I've ever seen on a manga character who is supposed to be a well-behaved, good student girl.
Honestly, I just didn’t enjoy this volume as much. It wasn’t as funny or as cute, imo. Also, what the hell is up with Hori-San attacking Miyamura?! She completely flips because she thinks the person who is calling him is female! Actually, I think it’s bordering on domestic abuse. Not cool. Her paranoia and jealousy are making me like her less :/
Finally...why include Sawada on the cover when she doesn’t even feature in the book?! *sigh*
Definitely my least favourite of the series so far. Really hoping volume 7 doesn’t follow suit.
Boyfriend of the year award goes to Miyamura for that heartwarming scene with Souta.
I won't take your onee-chan, so could you give me "Kyouko?"
I honestly love how this manga tackles this relationship. I love Miyamura's growth. He used to be alone but because of Hori he's now surrounded by friends that love and adore him. It also has a strong family element to it. When they got together, not only did Miyamura's friendship group widened but also his family. I can't to read the next volume.
Not my favorite out of all the volumes so far. I’m interested to see where the plot goes from here ...this one focused a lot on side characters which unfortunately didn’t do as much for me. Some of Hori’s actions in this one as well seemed out of character /: still excited to read the rest though!
Well, well, well... I did not expect that to happen... I mean, for 5 volumes it has been all cute and innocent and so, but then, unexpectedly, huh?? Nothing shows and it leaves the reader thinking "did it happen? did it not happen?"....
So far, this is my least favorite volume. I did not devour it. The chapters focused on the other characters were MEH. I don't like the possible love triangle between Tootu, Sakura and Ishikawa... And I certainly do not approve of that domestic violence. Miyamura is one of my favorite male characters in a shoujo, so that makes me dislike Hori a little bit. Her violent temper that came out of nowhere... In spite of Miyamura not being angry at all at her (as if he would be! he is the nicest guy) I still do not forgive her. Because of jealousy! Such a lame excuse...
Miyamura-kun... I just want to hug him Just how can this keep getting better than before?! This is freakingly beautiful. Full of emotions. I don't even need to say anything else.
The MC H is a CinnaRoll. The MC h is a steamroller.
He gets a phone call on his cell. She checks it before he does and starts to yell at him, “Who is so and so, is it another girl?!” And he yells back, “Why do you check my phone before I get to it?!” The next scene is him at school, with a bandage on his face because she hit him there so hard he bruised and their friends are like, “They’re fighting.”
That’s called ABUSE. Flip the genders, says HE did that to HER in a jealous rage. Would the friends be so calm about it? I think not.
She also hit him in public when he was talking, just talking, with some girls in the hallway. They approached him and they were maybe trying to flirt but he wasn’t encouraging or enjoying it. She gets mad at the girls for talking to him because he belongs to her, but she hits him.
She’s jealous, but she literally has a girl in the class below her who has a huge crush on her, to the point of hating the boyfriend, yet she invites this girl crushing on her to her house to be friends! That’s 1) rude to her boyfriend and 2) leading that poor girl on.
Also, she loves horror movies and he doesn’t. She forces him to watch them with her, even though they freak him out.
Side note: the least highlighted sex happened between the two. And I think she threatened him afterwards. And they never even kissed before, or after, that scene! So strange.
I cannot stand books where the girl does the abuse to the guy (or another girl) and it’s ok.
The MC h has issues (I won’t go into her abuse of her father. Granted he is a deadbeat mooch, but he doesn’t deserve to be treated like that by his own child) and she really needs to address them. The MC H probably needs help for the PTSD he probably has after dealing with her.
1, partner abuse and the MC h is horrible and needs help, stars.

This is a pleasant enough read, but what is the point of the series now? Most of the dramatic elements have been resolved, leaving low-key slice of life stories that just meander around. It's not bad, but I find it disappointing that the series seems to be treading water so early after a promising start.
Miyamura is still my number one boy! Gah! Just what an adorable human being? The f I'm still crying about that talk with his past self, I mean just how many times have I seen and read that part? But the feelings are still the same and I still freaking cried everytime.
Gah! I want to say a bunch of things but I just put my faux nails on, ballerina/coffin type so you know the feeling—and I'm already so tired of typing with typos, revise and all! Augh!
First off Miyamura and Hori take their relationship to the next level. They finally do the deed, get it on, bang bang...You get what I'm saying. But it's nice and refreshing it happens and it is treated like normal and not like "the end game" like most romance teen dramas. The relationship keeps growing in unique ways to help make them interesting.
Also Miyamura and his buddy have a FUNNY as hell moment where they don't want to take off their clothes for swim class. TOO funny and the joke goes on almost a whole chapter but it is filled with lolz.
I'm curious how this keeps going. I feel like there's some darker storyline or part I'm not fully getting. Sometimes the characters act very strange. Interested to see where it goes.
Whoa, Hori's hair is brown? Her hair is so light in the black and white manga that I thought she was blonde (and I missed her brunette hair on the cover of the first book). Whoa, betrayed by my mind's eye.
Quite a lot of good little stories this time. I liked Sakura's story, Miyamura confronting his past, Hori making Miyamura watch a scary movie, etc.
There's more focus on side characters here, but I actually didn't mind, I liked getting to know them. But I feel like Hori is doing things out of character, and I want them to seem closer not that distant, especially if the relationship is well-established. There was a lot of humor and the art is beautiful as usual.
Things that made me laugh and just feel good •I can hear your heart beating..... •I dont think i can go home in this weather •Miyamura telling the teacher that he has his period cause he doesn't want to go swimming •Sengoku telling thr teacher that his clothes are like skin to him. And lastly why did the show cut so many scenes from the manga. It would have been so good(i won't stop talking about this anytime soon)
This was a good volume for side characters and their relationships with each other. I really did not like that Hori loses her sh*t and hits Miyamura because she thought a girl was calling him. The series was cute up to this point. I'm interested to see how it goes from here if that gets addressed and she stops. I loved the excuses Miyamura and Sungoku come up with to get out of swimming for PE.
I'm gonna be honest and say I don't care that much about the side characters' stories - I'm just here for Hori and Miyamura. I love seeing their developing relationship.
