Angel’s Halo: Entangled
Angel’s Halo MC Series
He was the MC’s enforcer. The man to dole out punishments within the club. Men feared him, and so the peace was kept. For the most part. But Spider isn’t at peace with himself. There is only one thing in life he wants, and she just stormed back into his life…
Willa
The moment I saw him, I belonged to Spider Masterson. Now, four years later, I still can’t help but want to belong to him. Even after all the pain he has put me through, I couldn’t keep my distance.
Spider
There have been two females in my life that have ever made me feel anything. One was my best friend. The other owned my soul. She’d tattooed her name on my heart the second she had smiled at me for the first time. But the past stands in our way. I know I need to explain that night to her, but once I have her back in my bed, I can’t think about anything but making her mine.
Terri Anne Browning is a USA TODAY bestselling author. Being dyslexic, she never thought a career in writing would be possible, yet she has been on bestselling lists multiple times since 2013. Reese: A Safe Haven Novella was her first Indie published book. The Rocker Who Holds Me changed the tables and kicked off The Rocker... series featuring the sinfully delicious members of Demon's Wings. The Rocker... Series is now complete with 12 books and the occasional novella. Other books by Terri Anne include the Angel's Halo MC Series, as well as The Lucy & Harris Novella Series, The Vitucci Mafiosos Series, and The Tainted Knights Rocker Series.
Terri Anne lives in Virginia with her husband, their three demons---err, children--and a hyper Frenchie named Grunt.
Willa was still a child when she met Spider but the chemistry was off the charts. They bonded and fell in love until a night of betrayal. A few years later they met again. The storyline was primarily about the events of the MC. It was a little confusing but I’m hoping that I can fill in gaps by back tracking to the first book then to the next book in the series.
Multiple stories were carried over from the first book in the series, Angel’s Halo, and were threaded throughout the storyline. Additionally, multiple POV’s were mixed in based on those multiple plots. I enjoyed the stories and the complexity within each but it felt like a soap opera. I craved more from Willa and Spider - the other plots were a little distracting detracting from the main theme. (Update after reading the first book in the series - it made more sense and wasn’t as distracting - best to read the books in order!
Entangled was the second book in the Angel’s Halo MC series by Terri Anne Browning. It was my first book by the author. Although it can technically be read as a stand alone, I recommend reading it in order for the series to fully understand all plots.

All in all, it was a quick and entertaining read. It ended a little too abruptly for me but hopefully we’ll get more development through the next books, Guardian Angel (Hawk/Gracie), and Reclaimed (Jet/Felicity)- both were set up perfectly, giving teasers for an emotional yet explosive story for each one.
Okay, okay......just when I think my excitment level's and blood pressure is calm I read yet another one of Terri Anne's books and POW !! through the roof !!. I was only yesterday perusing if there was sight nor sound of a follow on book from Angel's halo and low and behold today, like a gift from the lord above book number 2 is waiting for me. The power of devine prayer I say !!. Now lovelies to the review. As you can see I have already gifted 5 golden ones but that hardley encapsulates how much I bloody love Ms Brownings books. This is Spider (AKA James) and Willa's book. Fan your self ladies because dear god your imagination will loose the plot picturing Spider and his 6ft 6" package of deliciousness. Plus the brief but very susinct desciption of his prowness goodies (say no more....rarr). I digress and wipe drool. I absolutley LOVED this story and the fact that Terri Anne has wonderfully linked it to my Demon beauties sends me off the charts in happiness. Willa is gorgeous. Raven still rocks. Gracie is a sweetie pie (who really needs to grip her mitts in Hawk !)and lastley Flick my heart aches for her......get with the programme Jet !! I only wish I had Hawk's book or Jet's to read straight after. I am soooooo not forgetting about Raider or Colt and the cousins (B.P elevating to dangerous levels). I will pray (hard) that more in this series comes out in the near future and not 2015. I am p**sed that I keep looking at books and their follow up's are literally 1 year plus after....WTF ?!!!!. I would recommend this series to EVERY BODY and the Rocker series. So what are you waiting for get clicking and get sighing with delight ;0)
Purch Amazon Aug. 10, 2018 3.5 Stars Better than the 1st book in the series, but not enough to take it to the next star rating. Although I may change my mind.
I like all the characters, but the author jumps around a lot from the mc's to other characters. It's a bit distracting.
So far they are very much worth the time to read them.
I have a feeling these are going to continue to improve.
Again the ensemble cast made me so so happy I love the structure to this world and being able to do so many intertwined storylines from the different points of view. Really glad I binged the one clicking of these so long ago.
A great series to follow for any MC Romance lover.
Alpha male, danger, angst likeable characters, a family MC setting.
Entangled is a second chance romance.
Willa goes to stay with her dad for a while at the MC, her father is the President and although her sister lives with their dad Willa lives with her mum.
Spider is visiting from another club, helping out with a situation and when he sees Willa he is instantly drawn to her and vice verca and they begin a secret relationship, hiding it from Willa's father.
Willa has a scheming sister who hates her, jelous of her and she is nothing short of evil, so when she puts plans into motion to hurt Willa she basically wins when Willa flees the MC heartbroken and returns home.
Years later Willa and Spider are reunited but there is some explaining to do from Spider and forgiveness on Willa's part.
Neither have ever moved on following the incident all those years ago, and seeing one another again is a rocky start at first but a welcome and heartwarming reunion when they do finally get together again.
There are a few different povs in between Willa and Spiders story, so you get snippets of other peoples story's too, what's going on at the same time, I found it distracting and I didn't like it although I was then lead to be interested to want to know more about those other stories and maybe I would probobly read their books too.
I Listened to Entangled in audio and enjoyed the narration. Entangled contains no cheating and leads to hfn with no full hea wedding bells that sort of thing but I was left wondering about other characters near the end and with the way this was written I have no doubt I will see more of Spider and Willa in other books.
I admit that it's been a while since the last time I read Angel's Halo series but after quick reread, I remember all like I read the first book yesterday.
Willa's the daughter of the prez. She's in love with a biker from Angel's Halo, Spider, but her dad won't let it, he told Spider to stay away from her. He did, but sparks already fly and they "hooked up". The thing is, there's a misunderstanding and now Willa move back again, away from Spider. One scene led to another and now Willa's back in Spider's life. What will happen next?
The basic plot is good, but Terri Anne seems to jump from one scene to another and that's confusing. The POV is not only from Willa and Spider but also from almost every one, promising that they'll be the main character of the future books. It seems like it's a habit of Terri Anne's writing. I don't mind, really, it's just that I have to struggle to keep up and somehow it ended exhausting me.
The ending of Tasha's definitely not satisfying. Almost like the author's too rushed to finish the book and I don't like it. I was hoping for more details but.. Well, let's just say all of sudden there's a happy ending and that's it.
Not going to be my last book of Terri Anne Browning though, because I love her books! Look forward to read the third installment of the series!!
Better than the first book, but only slightly. You could tell the author was much more invested in this couple's story than the first one. More detail, and this couple will end up solid. Even though Bash and Raven have a couple of POVs here I'm still not convinced they're solid. The author has written that couple so shallowly while the other's seem to be stronger. I didn't care for Willa in the first book when she was introduced and I didn't like her in this book either. Gracie is still the good girl who doesn't cuss, but yet is going to be a lawyer. 🥴 Felicity is just there because we don't know much about her though she asked a favor of the previous president who is in prison for a couple of more months. The favor she asked could have had him staying in for life if he had got caught, so right there I started to dislike her. Raven is just dumb now without much personality. Overall this isn't the best MC series. Still waiting for it to get better. Lastly, this author must have a thing for writing underage girls or something. I've read some messed up fiction, but I seriously get the ick with the repeat mention of a teenage girl's panties always getting wet or damp. 😒
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I'm not sure what I want to really rate it. It was between a 2-3 star read.
At least this story was longer however, the story I wanted about Bash in book one, shows up in book two when it's supposed to be Spider and Willa's story. I could have used that info in book one.
Once again we have everyone else's story going on in this book. Though luckily this time we get more of the couple the book is about.
I loved the time Spider and Willa spent when they met. And I loved the ending for them. I just wish this story was more about them.
Also... Felicity is involved with some people who obviously are from the authors rockstar series. Something bad goes down in it and it's not recapped in this book. That doesn't work for a reader who has no idea this book or series will do a slight intermix with the authors other series. I can probably guess what happened but I needed more info... Which is not even stated but you just assume what could have happened even if you don't know it fully because you don't know that series. Sigh....
2.5 Stars Eh..this was marginally better than the first book. At least we start off with Spider and Willa's past relationship and how it went sour, so that's something. Though Willa is your typical indecisive stupid female, she knows exactly what or rather whom she wants but acts like she doesn't. Isn't she too old to play hard to get?
This book is all over the place with the crap going on between Spider and Willa, the stupid as hell pregnancy thing between Bash and Raven and would someone please tell me what the fuck is going on with Jet, Flick and those people she works for? Oh yeah no one can because the book ends on a damn CLIFFHANGER! Let's not forget the non-relationship/relationship thing Hawk and Gracie have going on....ahhhhh! I need to stop....I'm getting a headache!
Entangled is book #2 in the Angel’s Halo MC Series, I was gifted a copy of this book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.
OK so this book finally gives us some much needed background info on Raven and Bash and Spider and Willa. It’s so nice to actually have some perspective on these couples and their history!!!
I actually quite enjoyed the multiple POVS in this instalment and I’m officially a little bit in lust with all the guys in this series.
So Raven and Bash are sorted and so are Willa and Spider now we just need to focus on Jet and Flick and Gracie and Hawk.
I’m still really intrigued by this group of characters so bring on the next instalment.
5 Stars: My absolute favorite and will read again and again. I strongly recommend! It has outstanding qualities. The characters are wonderful and surprising and multi-dimensional. The writing is luring, engaging, and well-crafted enough to keep me interested from cover to cover and beyond. The plot is astonishing with twists and turns weaved into a well thought and planned story. There’s no pretense and romance was well balanced and done entirely correctly with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors and incredible, undeniable chemistry. Predictability is at an all-time low. With the exception of series based books that follow the same path but are just as good. Overall, Favorite, must read again, recommend!!!
It's not a bad book, not at all. But it's so short and the main couple so... uninteresting. The "book" feels like a filler between no 1 and no 3. As a whole (series) the story is enjoyable and keeps me interested enough to keep reading.
Angel’s Halo: Entangled (Angel’s Halo MC #2) By: Terri Anne Browning 5/5 stars
Willa Blackstone fell in love with James “Spider” Masterson four years ago, when he, Raider and Bash were in Las Vegas helping her father Duke, the president of the Red Dragons MC find a narc within his club. Spider fell for her innocence, her loving and kind nature and her personality. But because of her father, she was off-limits to everyone. But after weeks of ignoring her, he just can’t help himself anymore, and they start a steamy, hot love affair. One that they are both loathe to end after his business in Vegas has been completed. But one drunken night takes care of any goodbyes that they would have had to give.
We met Willa in the first book, after moving to Creswell Springs with Bash to help take care of his daughter/her niece Lexa. Raven and Spider were both weary of Bash and Willa’s relationship, because they had lived together for a year. But Bash & Willa had the brother/sister type of relationship, just like Raven and Spider shared. As Bash and Raven find their way and navigate their relationship, Spider and Willa also have to navigate being around each other.
Willa is still drawn to Spider, but won’t allow herself to go there, because she just can’t put her heart on the line for Spider again. Spider has things that he wants to explain. He loves Willa, but there are things about the past that he has to explain to Willa. He knows that she won’t forgive him easily, but he’ll take her anyway that he can get her.
Hawk and Gracie are still somewhat prominent in this book, and more is revealed about Gracie’s past. I really like these two and am sure that if they don’t get their own book, they will still be featured in all the books. We do see Raider, Colton, Matt & Tanner and the Originals.
Felicity aka Flick is still at her job as a nanny for the Demon rock stars and Jet is still in San Quintin. While I haven’t read that 2 most recent books in the rocker series, there is an event that happened in one of them that is referenced in this book. Flick also needs a favor from Jet.
Jet is getting close to the end of his sentence and will most likely be eligible for parole. We don’t know who the next book will feature, but there are a couple of possibilities. I’m excited to see where the author goes next, and will have to reread her Rocker series with the newest books, so I can get all caught up on what Felicity knows!
Wholy cow is this book good. This book can be read as a stand alone but really needs to be read after Angel's Halo. All of our favorites are back in this book. We of course have Raven, and Bash but they are more supporting characters in this book they had their story in the last book but there are some parts filled in for them in this part. In this book we get more down to the nitty gritty of how Spider and Willa met and became an item we find out Willa's background and how she not only knows Spider but Bash as well and how she came to be helping Bash with his daughter. This is a great story that will have you from the first word till the very end. I can not wait to read the next installment of these characters because you can tell there is more to come. I also like how the author is taking the characters and not only giving them their time in the spotlight but also showing the other characters as they flow from one book to another. I would totally recommend this book you will not be sorry you purchased it.
This is the second book from the Angel's Halo MC series and it's about Willa and Spider. I don't want to give to much away because I always seem to do that. But we finally go their background story how they met what happen between the two of them. They did don't see or hear from each other for a few years until now. Spider wants Willa back so he does everything he can to win her back. They do finally get back together and work everything out. During their story you still get other characters POV so I'm hoping for an other book maybe this time Jet and Flix's story or Hank and Gracie's story. I do want to see a book on everyone and see a happily ever after for everyone and see where everyone is now. But I guess I'll have to wait and see.
have always loved this series. very well written, characters you will love, and great storylines. back to the start as the latest book in the series has just been released. no hardship in this decision .. it is easy to enjoy every word. the stories are a bit cliched, perhaps even very cliched but there is plenty of background action to keep the story moving and sweet romances that are fought against and hard won but the HEAs do creep in at the end
14.10.18 fell back into this one as I was looking for something to listen to in the car and then of course started and couldn't stop and flipped right through books 1-5. super fast reads that I enjoy though these guys are really full of themselves, but then that is what is expected in these type of books
So, I definitely enjoyed this book more than the first!
In this book we learn about how Willa and Spider first met and what went wrong in their relationship, second chance relationships are some of my favourite books to read so I hoped I was already enjoying it from the first page. I loved both of these characters separately and together!
Raven, annoyed me even more in this book than the last - I did not know that was possible! I also felt the multiple POV made the character development of both Willa and Spider not that great.
This book was way too short and left even more unanswered questions, but I cannot wait to read the next book in this series - I need to know what happened!
So firstly I want to say I love Terri Anne Browning's work and I really enjoyed this book except for one thing it got a little confusing at times as it jumped from one couple to the next. This book is primarily about Willa and Spider. Willa is the daughter of the Prez of a different MC Spider is part of Angels Halo MC and is told under no circumstances is he to touch Willa, but there is no way these to can stay away from each other. I really liked the fact that we got the back story to these characters as most of this book takes place four years later it's definitely not plain sailing for Spider and Willa to get the hea they both want.
Book #2 is mostly about Willa & Spiders story. We learn about what happened between them in the past and get to see the progression of events that lead up-to current day.
Spider loves Willa and you as a reader can feel that through Terri Anne Browning's writing. You feel Willa's turmoil over still loving Spider even after she thought he cheated on her. We get to see a little more of Tasha's history and how much of a horrible person she really was.
We see Raven & Bash work through some issues and come to a mutual understanding. We see a hint of what is going on with Flick and how Jet would do anything for her because of his love.
Grity, raw & one psycho bitch to through a spanner in the works. This novel follows same style as the first, multiple relationships with the main focus this time on a young girl falling for a MC manwhore. Then the main pair meet up 4years later then all misconception & deceptions come out. There are some zingers that come to light that will be dealt with no doubt further into the series. Just wish longer to deal with unresolved issues.
definitely my fave ... 'cause it is all about Spider (James) he is my favorite biker ... i have only read book 1 in the series ...but i am totally a hooked new fan of Terri Anne, i appreciate the way she has written this series ..unlike any other biker MC romance i have ever read ... and it really is at the top ... of my list ... way cool!! must read. check it out!! ( ; looking forward to more from this series very very soon. : )
I love how all of her series overlap characters. I am also an mc romance junkie. With that being said, I guess it is no surprise that I really love this series.
So much going on, I wish everyone had their own book but is like a soap opera type set up. I like the storyline, it keeps you wondering what's next. I don't know when the next one is coming out.
