Ukrainian birth, heritage, and upbringing of Gogol influenced many of his written works among the most beloved in the tradition of Russian-language literature. Most critics see Gogol as the first Russian realist. His biting satire, comic realism, and descriptions of Russian provincials and petty bureaucrats influenced later Russian masters Leo Tolstoy, Ivan Turgenev, and especially Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Gogol wittily said many later Russian maxims.
Gogol first used the techniques of surrealism and the grotesque in his works The Nose , Viy , The Overcoat , and Nevsky Prospekt . Ukrainian upbringing, culture, and folklore influenced his early works, such as Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka .

Knížka se mi líbila, bylo to zábavné a příjemné čtení.
Jediné v čem jsem se trochu ztrácela byly postavy, bylo tam více jmen, takže to bylo trochu těžší na zapamatování,proto dávám 4 hvězdičky.

Jbt al ga obozavam. Je sta je.
Revizora sam citala iz knjiznice, al sam onda kupila ovo izdanje s Zenidbom. Sad sam procitala i nju, i dodatke u ovom izdanju.
Stvarno ovog ludjaka (pohvalno) obozavam. Tocno ima moj tip humora i uz sve to smjesno ima i duha i dubine. U srednoj skoli mi se kabanica jako svidjela, ali tek sad kad citam ostalo shvacam koliko mi on zapravo kao pisac odgovara.

Není to špatné, já to četla jen kvůli maturitě a na to to je úplně dokonalé, tedy až na ty jména. Humor je především situační a asi už není moc aktuální.
