Rust O'Brien wird beschuldigt, die Arbeitsvorschriften verletzt zu haben, weil er mit einer Studentin seines Kurses Sex hatte. Kate Penney macht sich sorgen um ihn und auch sie merkt schnell das ihr Geheimnis aufgeflogen ist. Sie begleitet ihn nach New York.
Die Feinde haben ihre Rache bekommen und doch scheinen sie nicht zufrieden zu sein. Natürlich geht es wieder sehr erotisch und leidenschaftlich zu. Leider ging dabei etwas von der Story verloren. Das spannende waren die letzten Seiten der Geschichte. Ab da hätte ich gerne mehr davon gelesen und dann kam aber gleich ein Cliffhanger und das Buch war zu Ende. Ein kurzes Vergnügen, dabei lese ich gerne diese Buchreihe.

Getting good
Rust and Kates relationship is getting serious in more ways than one. Now that the plot is getting juicy I cant wait to see where it leads.

KAte and Rust are now in NY, she meets his parents and there is now a reporter stalking the family (also sent by a jealous Carlos) , there is drama and trauma while at the shifter Rave....
a spoiled rich young man and Rust have words over Kate and then Shalimar , Rust's ex who deliberately got pregnant to try to trap him (the child did not survive) reappears and he actually leaves Kate alone at this orgy while he goes off into the bushes with the ex while naked... yeah I am not liking Rust very much at this moment.
Rust fears losing control with Kate so he more or less runs away from her while they are in NY, so Kate packs up and heads to the airport to head back to school, where Rust catches her and actually mans up and breaks up with her to her face.... and as she is preparing to board the plane... they are both detained as the young man he had words with has been found murdered... and Rust has no memory of the evening other than waking up tasting blood......

So so good
She did it again. Book 3 is a wonderful book. Rust's lust for Kate is growing more and more. It is getting more intense with the story line and your finding out more about Rust and his past, but Kate doesn't care she love's him the way and what he is. Without giving anything away this is a great series so I'm on the way to read book 4.
