Clear Instructions to Fight Out Your Emotional Imbalances!

EFT is based on the methods of Acupuncture which is a form of complementary and alternative medicine discovered in ancient China. It involves stimulating certain Acupoints along the skin of a person to correct the imbalances of the flow through channels in the body known as meridians. The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) uses quite the same principles. It is a form of counselling intervention which came into light following the publication of Gary Craig's EFT handbook in the late 1990s. During an EFT session, the person is supposed to focus on a specific issue that's disturbing him or her while tapping on the end points of the body's energy meridians. As EFT is considered to be a part of the pseudoscience names energy psychology, this process is supposed to help remove the emotional obstacles that's getting in the way of a person's desired success. One of the major difference between Acupuncture and EFT or tapping is, the former is used to fight physical pain generally whereas the later is helpful to restore serenity. In this book, Marion Jaide, the author, has explained almost everything related to tapping in a rather shorter span. It includes discussions on the origin and the concept behind EFT, how it can help a person in day-to-day life, how to start tapping, the points to tap on the body and the proper process of removing a certain emotional obstacle after identifying its intensity. She also sheds light on the tapping practice named manifestation. In short, you have everything here you need to know about before you start tapping including the reasons why and in which situations you should actually start it. Even if you are not considering to start it just right now, you can grab a copy and have a read. It is always good to know about useful techniques derived of different cultures and disciplines.

Great help for putting the law of attraction to work!

If you're interested in manifesting and law of attraction, this book can be of huge help to you. I know that I often visualize good outcomes but they don't materialize because I'm blocked somewhere. This book shows you how to identify those blockages and work through them.

I had never heard of the tapping technique until I read this book, so it was quite a revelation to me. Tapping is a technique that can be used to activate prime points around the body's internal network. These points are called meridian points; they are the same points that are activated through acupuncture.

Ms. Jaide shows us a series of steps that allows us to apply these techniques for maximum effect. They include identifying your emotional issues and making sure you are in the correct frame of mind before you complete the physical tapping. These steps comprise the EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). The best part of this technique is that when you feel a negative emotion coming through, you can take action on your own to neutralize it.

The author illustrates the eight tapping locations and describes the best techniques for working with these points. She shows us how to use the law of attraction to facilitate active manifestation. EFT tapping can help us to release our emotional constrictions in order to take positive action in our lives. After that, Ms. Jaide gives seven day-to-day tapping situations that were a big help to me in identifying my own issues.

This book got me on the right path to identifying and resolving those deep emotional blocks that I knew were there but couldn't quite tackle on my own. EFT tapping is a great tool for living a more balanced and realized life.

I'm a big fan of staying mindful to better control my emotions. When a friend recommended this book I admit to being skeptical. What I'll admit to now though is astonishment. While mindfulness helped me focus on and own my negative emotions EFT tapping has taken "letting go" of them to a whole new level. I wouldn't say I fully understand the why's of it all but there's no denying the positive results.
