Rate this book
Ensnared in his debt to the Sanitini family, Gabe struggles to keep his “club” family oblivious to these new events governing his life.

But when Quinton takes it upon himself to make a “preemptive” strike on one of Gabe’s friends as proof of what he’s capable of if Gabe steps out of line, the stakes are raised. And it is no longer Cole alone who is now in Quinton’s crosshairs – but everyone Gabe loves and cares for.

In a twisted game of revenge and obsession – will love be the ultimate sacrifice?

Pen name of author A.M. Snead.

Born and raised in scenic Coos County, Oregon, CJ enjoys the small town atmosphere and down-to-earth country folk who populate the area. She is a single mother and lives with her 18-year-old daughter, 1 horse, 4 dogs and 6 cats deep in the country woodlands which gives her plenty of time to write.

She is a Christian and a strong supporter of the LGBT community and favors gay erotic romance when it comes to writing. She hopes that her stories of love and acceptance will help further compassion and understanding for LGBT people who she feels is greatly misunderstood and persecuted - in a large party by the Christian community.

Most of all, she is hopeful that her stories will bring comfort to those who have been told that God hates them because they are different. It is her strong belief that God loves everyone and His love covers all.

This one , again, fucked with me head.
I feel you Cole. And Gabe ..I don't know about him.He was just being stupid or just need a better COMMUNICATION with Cole and Max, and the entire Phoenix family. I feel sorry for him. Quint is not human for sure.

I don't have words to described this one.

It's just, gripped me so fucking tight I can't breathe.

The editing was crap.

But this one did make me obsessed with the boys.

But what I hate the most, was THE ENDING! WTF!

I guess, I just follow their story as fast as I can.
Like ripped off the band aid , right?
The pain will just for a short while.

So, lets get it over with!

Wow, just wow, my heart is literally broken into tiny little pieces. I do not think Cole will ever recover from what he saw, I think he is officially a broken man. Poor Angel, that cute little shit just can't catch a break, but I know that Dane will do whatever he has to in order to protect him. And Max and Horatio are just idiots. I want them together and not with other people, yes I like Seth and Cale well enough but I don't want them with Max and Horatio. The next book had better come out quick!!

Editing, spelling, punctuation and other errors aside (naval instead of navel), I'm absolutely hooked on this series. Poor Gabe, poor Cole, poor everyone who has to wait while complete psychopath Quint Sanitini and that repulsive pervert Byrd get their just desserts, but I hope to God that will be in the next book...please?? 5 stars

Things are so bad right now. Angel was attacked by Byrd who got out of jail because of Quint. Then there's the whole deal where Nathan who was like a dad to Gabe is dead and there's one year left on the debt that needs to be paid for him saving his life and family can collect on that which means Quint.

It's not going to be good it's already bad with what happened Angel was a sacrifice because Gabe needed to be told a lesson. Thankfully Maddy wasn't hurt even though Byrd broke into the house to get him. Dane took Byrd down and police have him again

Right now Cole and Gabe are done for which is so sad because they were my favorite couple secondly with Angel and Dane being my first favorite. I will be glad when Clint actually does something because right now nothing has been done.

Max and Carl are giving things a try which I don't want. Right now with all that's going on though Max is taking Cole with him. He's so deviated and doesn't understand what's happening. Horatio has Seth again and I he glad that's over.

It was with mixed emotions that I started 'Ransomed Love', the second book in Gabriel's trilogy. I was impatient to get through it, so I'd be one step closer to the ending, but I was scared as to what revelations the author might have in store for me. Let's face it, people, she left me on a cliff, dangling, at the end of the previous book. After reading so many of these books, I've now become accustomed to that feeling. But I don't like it, and I keep hoping the drop will be over quickly.

Oh, Gabriel, honey, when will you learn that lying to protect the people you love is never the right way to handle a problem? Gabe, trying to keep Cole from discovering the deal made with Quint long ago, lies to Cole. Cole finds out that Gabe has been having sex with Quint, and Cole is devastated. As horrible as this is, it's nothing compared to Quint setting his sociopathic tendencies against all the guys at Phoenix Club in an attempt to show Gabe that when you love people, you're weak. Quint makes it very plain that if Gabe tries to rebel against him, in any fashion, Quint will kill everyone Gabe loves.

Another heartrending addition to the trilogy and the series. Max and Carl are tentatively beginning a relationship, as are Horatio and Seth. Ricky and Levi are dancing around each other, while Maddy and Savannah are making eyes at each other. But at the base of it all is the destruction of Cole and Gabe's love. I'm not sure how, or even if, these two can come back from all of this. What I do know is that if Gabe doesn't tell his friends the truth, there is no hope for any of them.

Wow! Just ... Wow! The second book in the Gabriel trilogy is such an addictive read. Up until now, we haven't really had much of a glimpse into the life Gabe led before arriving at The Phoenix Club. When we are introduced to Quinton and his sick, twisted world it is soon clear why Gabe has hidden his past from everyone.

When Gabe breaks Cole's heart into a million pieces, you are trying so hard not to hate him. But, as the story unravels you find yourself really hating him. CJ has me hooked and I can't wait to read the third book to see how it turns out for Gabe and Cole. Hopefully, they live happily ever after ... Hopefully.

I just love The Phoenix Club series and I am hoping we read more about the mysterious Lex. He has me intrigued. Will he have his own trilogy? Pretty please, CJ?

So heartbroken for Cole right now.
But I must say my heart is still breaking for Horatio. I kind of want to slap Max. What can be so bad that there is no hope for them.... Did they find out they were related or something? Whatever it is it can't be just bad because Horatio can see past it and still want a future with him. Damn you Max, you're not meant to be dancing on bars with someone else!
And Gabe... It's one thing to protect the ones you love but ripping their hearts out in the process isn't really protecting them... The truth might be dangerous but still preferable to what poor cole had to go through. Grrrr!

And just when i thought this series couldn't get anymore emotional !!
Wow, i don't know which couple my heart breaks for the most.... Gabe is being blackmailed, do as Quint tells him or his friends suffer but in doing as Quint wants he's not only hurting himself but also breaking Cole's heart. Quint's already proved to him that he can get to the ones who Gabe calls family, even though he isn't the one who actually hurts them.
CJ has really got me hooked on these boys every single one of them !!! Loved it !!

Lines are crossed.

Gabriel is falling into the rabbit hole and slowly pushing Cole away but will he be able to live with it.

I love these couple but sometimes actions can destroy even the strongest of people and Wow I don't know if Cole can come back from that.

Very evil but I loved it.

Why someone please just tell me why. This Quint person needs to die. It's bad enough that he is screwing up, Cole and Gab's life but he had to go after Angel. I want he dead and very soon!!
