At first I thought that this book was going to be nothing but turmoil and heartache. But once I started reading it, I began to fall in love with the characters!
Leah and Hunter were hand picked for each other and I really liked seeing their story unfold.
There were helpful suggestions to those going through something traumatic and they fit so well in the story.
This book is also one of my favorites.!

This is a story about a woman who has overcome a horrific event in her life and as she struggles to move on, she's got the help of her loving father.
She moves into the family's second home in upstate new York where she makes some new and understanding friends.
There is a scene where after she confides in her new friends what happened to her, they spend the anniversary of her attack with her and provide support in the most appropriate and loving way.
I liked how the relationship with Hunter develops slowly, no insta-love here. He's trying to get over something as well. No, not a break-up. The scenes between them were loving and steamy!
This book was well written and I found the main character, Leah to be a strong woman who knew when it was the right time to let go of some things rather than hold onto them.

I highly recommend this read.

Deadly Secrets is the story about a woman who was brutally raped and who wants to move on with her life.
she leaves the city and moves into the family summer home in upstate New York.
she has an awesome relationship with her father and not so much with her step mother and step sister.
This Book took me on a journey, it starts of graphic and gritty.
The main character, Leah , takes on a journey as she rediscovers love, respect and communication. she basically rediscovers everything that she thought she lost the night of her attack.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a gritty, good feeling book about moving on after a horrific personal tragedy.

Another cool book! I liked that this book is a bit longer and it took me on a journey. Not only was the main character going through something very traumatic, but she had to deal with her step-mother and step sister along the way.
The relationship between Leah and her father was great. The dialogue between them was spot on.
This author has a way of drawing a person into the characters life, very descriptive as well.

Like I said, another great job. Can't wait for the next one!

I rated both books. But the one I read has a new cover. This book grabbed me from the beginning. And after reading a few chapters, It made me wish that I had a dad like Leah did!!
She's been through a lot and the way that the Feranacci family welcomed her was heartwarming.
The author built the relationship between Hunter and Leah so well that I found myself routing for them from the very beginning.
This new author seems to get better and better with each novel. Way to go.

Great story but I found the writing lacking in depth. I am not sure if it was the kindle download but punctuation and grammar were extremely irritating.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I think after reading Insatiable, I became a fan of this author.
Once again the main character is strong and has gone through something tragic. But with the love and support of her father and support groups, she's trying to move on.

Liked how the author showed that looks can certainly be deceiving .

This is another book that I would highly recommend.
