The Queen of Horror Manga, Kanako Inuki, brings you School Zone, a series about ordinary children who encounter the strange and terrifying at their very own school, and discover that many ghost stories, urban legends and superstitions are truly and horribly real.
It is a typical Japanese school horror manga. But the story arc, drawings and speech bubbles were really messed it up. Just like the content, drawings were also very dark. It was very hard to understand the whole characters easily or maybe i should brush my manga reading skills.
I read this when I was in High School and was one of my first mangas to have read. As always, I enjoy dark, scary, and sort of childish stories. It reminded me of my elementary/primary days where my friends and I go around our school and hunt for ghosts before school starts. It's a nice trip to nostalgia land. I enjoyed finding this again along with it's 2nd volumr but I have no luck for the third.
