This was really fun and unique! Very different from a lot of western horror, and because of that, a refreshing treat. Buuuut having read a handful of horror manga before I can’t help but notice the similarities in themes and ideas. Maybe that’s because this is an older work, and maybe the new generation has been pulling from the “Queen of Horror” as she has been dubbed.

Still, this was fun and had a good message at its core.

It is a typical Japanese school horror manga. But the story arc, drawings and speech bubbles were really messed it up. Just like the content, drawings were also very dark. It was very hard to understand the whole characters easily or maybe i should brush my manga reading skills.

I read this when I was in High School and was one of my first mangas to have read. As always, I enjoy dark, scary, and sort of childish stories. It reminded me of my elementary/primary days where my friends and I go around our school and hunt for ghosts before school starts. It's a nice trip to nostalgia land. I enjoyed finding this again along with it's 2nd volumr but I have no luck for the third.
