***This review is full of spoilers***

Lily is a happily married, stay-at-home mom of three teenaged kids. Well, she thought her marriage was happy until one day she catches her husband, Charlie, with the neighbor. In that instant her whole life falls apart. But, she doesn't confront him. She doesn't let him know she saw him. Okay I get it, I wish she would have, but she's in shock, she wants to decide what to do and find out all of the facts before telling him she knows. So I wait...

Lily makes an appointment for a consultation with sexy divorce attorney, Eli, to see what her options are. Over the next few weeks (Yes *exasperated sigh* she goes on for months living at that house like nothing is wrong, gathering evidence, and trying to make enough money to leave)Lily and Eli build a friendship and some sexual tension while Lily does some office work to pay off her legal fees. Still waiting...

While at the salon, trying to become a desirable woman again instead of a harried housewife, Lily meets an older woman who offers her the answer to all of her money problems. You know, just a little prostitution. Why Lily thought she would lose everything in the divorce I have no idea. Charlie makes six figures, they have a nice house, cars, no prenup, and she has evidence of his indiscretions. I get that she didn't want "Charlie's money" but hooking is really the only option? Still waiting...

Well, she gave it a go and was terrible at it and I saw that twist coming from a mile away. Plus, now she can no longer take the moral high ground because she, too, is a cheater. I kept reading because I was sure Lily's confrontation with Charlie was going to be epic. Wrong. It didn't happen until the end and there was little drama. Maybe I took this book too seriously. I think it was supposed to be light and fun but it really just pissed me off.

Hot, Sexy, Angsty , Sweet novella!!!

wow!
I finished this book in one sitting!
I love J4 and her writing just always speaks to me.
This book being a novella I was kinda iffy about. Since I don't really care for novellas only because I always want more.

Well this one did not disappoint!
Of course I'd love more but this had just the right amount of everything you could want in a novella.

Oh and I loved the ANGST!

There was so many sexy scenes.... it was FANTASTIC!

Read it!
You'll love it!

Just a tinyish gripe, Lustly didn't really work for me as a title or name. Lusty works so much better. But the smexy cover more than makes up for it, I s'pose. Anyway, it was sweet, quick read and I recommend it if you need a break from heavy, angst-ridden reads.

First I have to say that cheating is not my favorite subject to read, but Jenn Foor is one of my favorite authors and she's kinda brilliant so I gave this one a try. Of course I didn't like the cheating, but I loved this story!! Once again J4 made me fall in love with her characters. I don't want to give anything away, but I will say I'm kinda in love with this guy named Eli! I also loved how Lily found herself through these pages, it was pretty freaking awesome! This is "supposed" to be a novella, and I guess it is considering the length, but this felt like a full size novel, you get it all. Great read!! #weallneedleatherhotpants

What did I think about this book?
It wasn't bad but wasn't in my great/good read.
It was okay.
The sexy in this book was well enough, not too much.
In the beginning, I like the story because the character act like anybody and delivered quite a punch but after it felt just okay.
And this story was about luck and fate. It was surprising.
Beside the fact she went for escort but it was more like an opportunity/fate and also adventure. Something that let her discover real bliss.
It was an easy read and I still have questions, why would her husband do that to her. Was he in love with the other woman, why did he seek? Easy to answer really but i would still have doubt.

I know this is kind of cliché but if you are looking for a quick, funny and sexy read then you need to buy this book. One desperate housewife, one cheating spouse (AKA Mr. Sh!$ Stain) and one sinfully tempting divorce attorney, how could you go wrong! While I would not call it an overly emotional story, it was most definitely full of sexy, sweet and humorous moments with a little angst mixed in to keep you hooked from page cover to cover.

First of all, I want to say that this book cover is eye-catching – both in a good way and a bad way. My first thought was…shouldn’t the words on her back side say “slutty” instead of “lustly”? But when I finally got deep into the story I came to realize that the cover and title couldn’t be anymore PERFECT.

Lily’s backside is definitely sexy! If this were all real I would have come up to Lily and pat her on the cheek and say ‘”You go girl!” I think you would have done the same especially when you discovered out that that ass belonged to a presumed 35 something wife and soccer mom that was raising two (plus) teenagers.

As the story goes, Lily is one devoted mother and wife. She is one of those dedicated mom’s that put every other mom’s efforts to shame. Because of her hard work, Lily’s family life was flawless. Things were about to change when she finds another woman on her knees, in front of her husband right in her very own shower.

Of course she went through all the normal reactions any would have gone through but after all that wore off she felt utter desperation. As she was suffering alone in pain and agony she was also focusing on coming up with ways to raise her children in the comfortable lifestyle that they used to. She first begins working for minimum wage but when she realizes that this was not going to cut it she entertains this crazy notion that was presented to her by a random woman that she met by chance – to become an escort.

“…there is no way in hell I’d ever consider being with anyone else if I already had you….”

For her, the mere thought was deplorable. She never could imagine going through with it but with all three of her kids in mind she knew that this was the best way out even if it was just temporary. This is what I loved about Lily she would have done anything for her kids. With that in mind, she eventually gives in. What she didn’t anticipate while doing this though was actually liking it. For the first time in her life she was opening herself up to sexual exploration.

What she also wasn’t expecting was one single man wanting all of her time – a man that seemed familiar to Lily. This person tries his damnest to shelter and protect Lily from her questionable choices which I thought was beyond admirable. There were frustrating moments and situations that were deceitful and manipulative but for me they were justifiable given that his primary goal was always to keep her safe.

In many ways this person was exactly what Lily needed and vice versa. I thought their pairing was fantastic - physically, emotionally and intellectually. I found it most impressive that was for a book this short the author was still able to illustrate to us how well these two fit together.

For a novella, this book was very well written. Who would have ever thought that something horrendous such as cheating would bring out a positive outcome? For me, the story flow was smooth and was very much enrapturing. It was one of those books that I couldn’t put down. I read this one while catching some rays sitting by the pool and because of this it will most definitely end up on my list of “Favorite Summer Reads” for this year.

MICHELLE'S REVIEW

I was so honored to get an advanced copy of this book from Jen. I had the pleasure of being her helper in Philadelphia and as she was telling me about it and showing me the super hot trailer I was basically screaming at her to give it to me.

Anywho- this is not your typical- wife gets cheated on and rediscovers her worth and sexuality story. Yes that happens but it's so creative in how it's written.

For one thing- we usually see the woman find the cheating hubby leaving and moving on. Not this time. Yes, Lily is devastated. But she doesn't want to lose her kids. Lily devoted her life to being a housewife and mom. If she leaves her husband, she fears she leaves her kids behind too. So she does what any strong mother would do. She puts her own happiness aside and does whatever it takes to create a nest for herself so she can one day leave.

The way she ends up making her money is through less than honorable means but we are talking about a woman who would do anything. Honestly, Lily is so strong and I found myself rooting for her the whole way through.

In the meantime, she meets her lawyer Eli who is AMAZING. He's hot and smart but he also becomes her friend. Of course he wants to hump her like crazy as does she. I can't even blame them.

Now- I can't say another word without getting into being a spoiler. Here's what I will say. There is a bit of a twist and it isn't hard to figure out but waiting for everything to be revealed is the perfect tension and I loved it. I'm not one that condones cheating in books but the way this is written- you've already written off her husband as the lowest of low. If I could change anything it would be that he ends up in a fire pit...

Basically Jenn Foor has struck gold with this. Even though it's a novella it is packed full of a great story line, strong characters and great sex. Pick this one up!!

*Beta read this book for Jenn Foor*

NOW LIVE on Amazon--->> Lustly: An Erotic Novella

~~ 5 H.O.T. Stars ~~

First I want to thank Jennifer Foor for allowing me to beta read this novella. I am a huge fan of Jennifer's. I have loved her from the beginning :). I was a little nervous to read this novella because of the blurb. I knew there was going to be cheating in some form or another in this story. I am not a fan of cheating in real life or in my books, but because it was a Jenn Foor book I looked past that and read it anyway. I am so glad I did. Yes there is cheating (primarily on the husband's side) but I will say that the way Jenn wrote this story…I truly understand why Lily did what she did.

This book took me by completely surprise. I thought it was going to be another escort story, but it really was much more than that. I don't think I have ever read a book about a married couple before, that was refreshing to me, because I could relate with Lily a lot. I will say that I don't think I would ever do what Lily does in this book, but I can understand feeling like you have no other way. I don't want to give anything away, because Jenn does add little surprises to this story that I didn't see coming. Truly keeps you on your toes. I loved the storyline of this book also, it was engaging enough that I had a hard time putting it down. As for the steam factor….HOLY MOLY!!!! Have a spare pair of panties and a fan close by ;) The chemistry between Eli and Lily is off the charts….even when they were just kissing.

So if you are looking for that quick but steamy read…this is the one to pick up. If you are a Jenn Foor fan you don't want to miss this little treasure !!!

Can she really ever love again?

Loved this novella, I started it yesterday on the way to lunch and between real life and my reading escapes I stayed up until 1 am to finish it! Though I cannot personally relate to Lily's story, I felt like I was right there with her going through all the emotions: shock, betrayal, anger, hurt, humiliation, hate, revenge. And now a bit about the story...

Lily has accidentally walked in on her husband enjoying himself in the shower, just as she is about to join him she realizes he isn't alone, Kate - their neighbor - is in the shower with him. She escapes before they see her. Now what is she supposed to do? She has dedicated her life to her family, after falling for Charlie in college, they married and she never worked. After going to place after place she is having no luck finding a job. Then her husband has to go out of town for "business", except he is just the next town over in a hotel with Kate. She can't believe this... As she explores her options she gets a little in over her head and can't believe the choices she is going to make for her family.

Favorite passages:
- That rotten bastard had let his dick ruin our family, and I was going to cut it off and stick it in my neighbor’s mailbox for her to keep.
- I’d watched enough television shows on crime to know exactly how to make that mother fucker suffer.
- Where is the handsome man in the butter commercials that’s going to swoop in and make me forget all about Mr. Shit Stains?
- “No man is worth the pain you’re putting yourself through. Don’t wither away because of someone who is beneath you.”
- “Good. Come pick me up.” “I need to get dressed.” “Friends can pick each other up naked,” he teased.
- “You sound too good to be true, Frankie. Do you have a suit of armor and ride a white unicorn as well?”

The cover of this book is misleading- I expected a quick trash novel to enjoy, but wasn't expecting the writing and story to be as good as it was. Yes it was predictable in some parts, but overall I really enjoyed the characters and steam factor was exactly what I thought it would be (by the cover at least).

You can read the synopsis blurbing the info section or from others, but I'll tell you how I feel.

I wish the dick of a husband had to suffer more- nothing really happened to him that was all that bad after everything that he did. I guess the whole point of the story is to see our heroine, Lily, happy , but still he didn't get all that was coming to him. I actually have a few questions about his actions that were left unanswered.
1. Why did he even do it? That was never explained.
2. Why did he confess to his wife about a one time event (lie) and want to go to therapy but still continue his affair?
3. Why did he want to continue his relationship with his wife and tell her he loves her when he stills sees this other woman? (kinda the same question as above- but really why did he confess if he didn't plan on stopping? Then why is he acting all needy and lovey dovey to his wife wanting to have sex if he is getting plenty from his girl on the side...?)
4. Why did the kids still see him after everything was over? After what the son said, I would have expected more resentment on their part... they were old enough to understand after all and really any kid would think their dad is a dick for doing what he did and i doubt they would want to see him
5. why did Lily never confront her friend/neighbor/other woman for her part? and WTF- she moves in to Lily's house with her ex husband- like I said Charlie- aka douchebag cheating husband got everything out of this situation...

Lustly: An Erotic Novella
By: Jennifer Foor
4/5 stars

I was a little torn when I first started reading this novella. I’m not always a fan of angsty type romances, but I have enjoyed Jennifer Foor’s Mitchell Family series and have started on the Mitchell-Healy cousins series. Since this was a cheap, fast read, and I needed something just before a release day, I picked this one up.

Lily Ross faced almost every married woman’s worst nightmare… a cheating spouse. She had no idea that he was unhappy, as she was the caretaker of the home and a stay-at-home mom to their 3 children. She is torn-up and confused about where to go from here. Does she get a divorce and break up the family, does she try to repair their marriage or does she just live unhappily in the home with her husband for the sake of their children?

She consults a lawyer, Eli, about the possibility of divorce, but knows that she needs money of her own, and must get a job. She won’t be able to stay in the home, because the other woman, just so happens to be her next door neighbor. So she gets a part-time filing job in the lawyer’s office, and a hostess job at a local restaurant. But it’s just not enough money to get a home, pay the bills, and pay for her divorce.

Meanwhile, Eli has also become not only her friend, but is also interested in more. Lily wishes that she weren’t in her current situation and that if things were different, she would like nothing more than to date a man such as Eli. But that must wait until she is legally free to pursue another man.

She meets a mysterious woman, Ms. Cybil and is offered a job opportunity. She has to be able to live with herself afterwards, but is willing to sacrifice so much more for her children.

First off we love how Lustly is written! It’s written as if our heroine is catching us up on what’s been happening over a coffee. Lustly had us often laughing out loud. We loved this hot steamy erotic novella.

Lily takes pride in being a mum; she loves every minute of the busy chaos. Forgetting shin pads for one of her daughter’s soccer games, Lily dashes home only to have her world destroyed. Her once perfect family has been destroyed.

"Utter shock.
Betrayal.
Anger.
Hurt.
Humiliation.
You name it, and I was feeling it."

How do you deal with this? Your heart is broken yet you want to keep face for your children. Unlike other women in her situation she wanted revenge and a plan on how to move forward without disrupting her kid’s life, this would take time.

Meeting Cybil while at the salon. Lily has never met someone so forward. She gives Lily some advice and makes Lily question herself, her situation and life going forward. Surely meeting this women couldn't hurt, she was offering her a chance. But at what cost...

With such a big decision to make, will make the call, or will she remain where she is?

Kristy and I (Kayla) wanted to leave this review very open. Normally we delve into the story and give teasers and much more information. As this is a novella, we decided that keeping it short and sweet would also not give away too much . We hope you enjoy Lustly as much as we did.

What a great book. There is infidelity, but it's not written in a way that makes you feel dirty. Lilly's husband cheated on her with their neighbor. She doesn't confront him and instead goes to see a divorce attorney. She doesn't have a job, nor has she ever worked since they married straight out of college and immediately started a family. She's heart broken and feels it's her fault....at first. Then she gets angry. One day while deciding to get her hair and nails done to feel better, she's approached by a lady who offers her a solution. One she's very uncomfortable with, but it offers her the kind of money she needs. Problem is, can she actually do it?

While Lilly is struggling with what to do, her hot and sweetheart of a divorce attorney, Eli, allows her to work for him filing to pay off her attorney fees. But after a couple of months he makes it clear that when she's ready, he'd like to date her. I loved Eli. He's a really great guy and saw something in Lilly she didn't see herself.

That's all I'm saying. Read it! It's a really good book that's got some steam and some great characters.

"Lustly" ~~~~BOOM~~~ What a Story!!!

Ya know the best part was...the bastard got his due & the victim ended up with Scrummy Eli-(what a Hero) ...that had ta hurt the balding cheater who had to pay for a busted nut...*smirks* I love the way Jennifer's mind works....everyone will love this book...or well maybe not EVERYONE i mean theirs still those that cant handle anything steamier than a YA so you might wanna be careful there lol this books off the charts hot. The story behind it all was what I loved...the heroine started out a mess & came out of it happier than she ever dreamed possible so that sealed the deal with me...heck even the kids was happy..win..win!! .....oh oh & cant forget...that Cover? lmao its poetic she even added in just a little spice towards the ending to make it all tie in together...Ms. Foor you rock! would have loved it to be a tad longer if anything but for being a short read you sure accomplished a lot. Will definitely read again...

I can't believe Lily was able to stay with her husband Charlie for as long as she did knowing that he was cheating on her with the neighbour next door. Poor Lily had to pretend she was not aware of her husbands infidelities just so she could try and save up enough money so she could leave with the kids. She's a better person then me cause I would have called out the husband and the neighbour for what they did.
When Lily decides that the only way she will be able to raise the money quickly is by selling herself she decides to do so begrudgingly. I think once it all starts though she realises it's really not that bad but she is too scared to admit it. Thank fully for her the one and only client is a knight in shining armour. Only wanting to protect her and save her from that lifestyle.
I think the sadistic part of me would have liked to have seen a far worse outcome for Charlie but I'm so glad Lily and Eli were able to find love and be together.

Do you know what it feels like to be desperate to protect your children? Well Lily has had to come to terms with what is now her reality. What does a woman who considers her role as mom as more important than anything else in life? What wouldn't you do is more like it. In this novella, you will see that life sometimes brings us to situations that makes a person do what is necessary versus what is morally correct. I like that this story line is real. Unfortunately this is someone's reality but it is also a reality check that cheating happens daily and kids aren't always as blind as you think they are.

Wow.. So, I was completely blown away by this book. The difficult subject of picking up the pieces of your life after you fall down is something I think we can all relate to. It had my stomach in knots (as Jenn has a talent to do) from start to finish. I loved the story and it showed what getting what you need isn't guaranteed but can sometimes change your outlook on what the important things are. What would you be wiling to do to keep yourself and family safe and protected? Here lies one option. We don, Jenn... As always...

4.5 Lusty stars!!

OOhh yum. Looking for a panty soaker?? This one fits the bill!

Lots of real world angst to make you feel close to Lily..a woman hell bent on not letting the shitty hand in life she's been dealt affect her children. With a few lucky twists and chance meetings, she just might make it to the other side all for the better...and MUCH MORE SATISFIED!

Eventhough I had the twist figured out before the reveal, I'll be coming back to this one when I need a quick shot of adrenaline and erotica!

HOT , HOT , HOT!!!

This was a fun short read focusing on Lily who has found out her husband is a cheater and not just that but has been doing it for a while. I liked reading about an older woman but was glad this is a novella because what Lily ends up doing didn't feel realist. Though some things are outlandish and far fetched it was still fun to read and suspend logic for a bit and wonder "what if." I enjoyed the book and think it would make a great quick read for someone looking for a funny and steamy book.

I love Jenn Foor's Kin Series and Love Suicide. I can't wait to read the Mitchell Series. This book was okay. I figured out the twist right away and I just thought Lily's character was a little weak. Not many women who find out their husband's are cheating on them are so desperate and become call girls. Yes I know this is fictional. It was good and of course I couldn't put it down because I wanted Lily to get her HEA.

This novella was hot hot hot! (keep b.o.b close while reading) Lilly was Awesome! She was so strong and an amazing Mom, who would do anything, and I mean anything, to protect her kids and make sure they had everything. It was steamy, funny, emotional and I loved it! J4 did it again with another 5 star book!
