I read this book because it was recommended to me by my mother. I was not familiar with Loretta Young but what a life she lived! I really appreciated how she stuck to her morals in a hard town like Hollywood. She was also firm in her convictions while remaining kind, which is a rare breed. If someone asked me "Who would you like to have dinner with living or dead?" Loretta Young would be in my top 5. A very interesting look at old Hollywood.
