Hermes was a god, one of the line of genetically manipulated super beings. He was a mix of human and alien, and they had just been freed from Origin, the company that had created and enslaved them. Sent on a mission, he was captured by a rogue agent of Origin who was intent on auctioning him off to the highest bidder. He hides Hermes at his father’s estate where Cherish, the agent’s sister, sees him and becomes infatuated. She makes sure he’s fed and he comes to care for her. Is she his mate and does it even matter since he can’t escape? Will she help him and what will happen if she does? Attraction flares between them, will love follow? book contains hot scenes.
Another winner this author is not only consistent but diverse in the way of presenting drama. I was riveted by each character presentation but the story left me longing for a more positive mating between Doc and Hades. Readers are in for another treat.😊😇
I loved book number 2 in this series. Hermes was a great guy, I mean God!! Cher was equally as great smart and sexy. A great combination. The story itself is very interesting and it kept me turning the pages. On to book 3!!
Sexy, beautiful, powerful gods and demons what more could a girl fancy?
This love story contains more than life mates finding one another, there is danger on every side, with spies, and allies. Origins and others are trying to capture not only gods and demons but others and this leaves the Gods questioning "Why?" As the gods and demons watch two of their brothers mate they long for their own mate. Zeus and Sierra now Hermes and Cherish who will be next? Does Hades have a chance or has he ruin his it with Doc? Hopefully Crystal Dawn will give Hades some if his own medicine in the next book. This one brings Hermes and Cherish together yet none of it is easy.
Hermes and Cherish, they are both more than they appear to be
Poor Hermes, one of the recently freed Gods, has been re-captured and starved pending sale to the highest bidder. A tender hearted woman secretly feeds him, but she seems too timid to help further. Is she a potential friend or one of his kidnappers, Hermes is about to find out. This was a great book with an involved plot. We get to know more of the Gods and Demons. But their lives are still at risk. Traitors put the Gods, Demons, and their mates at risk. My heart bleeds for these honorable males who have been enslaved until very recently. I hope each one gets a HEA.
