Stone was my best friend. My protector. My everything.
Until he wasn’t.
Kids like us didn’t have the best life, riddled with trauma, bounced around in a system that didn’t want us and couldn’t handle us. In our darkest hours, we had each other.
Until we didn’t.
We tried to hold on to what little we had. Maneuvering the rough waters of our circumstance.
Until I couldn’t.
I never expected to see Stone again. Yet the night that I needed him most, he was there, saving me again. But he no longer was the sweet kid that held me in the darkness.
Let me tell you STONE!! idk what he was on but I found it so fking hot!! And he was a obessed, crazy guy who had anger problems. And when he finally found his butterfly Emily again all bets were off. Since he been in jail for murder. He stalked her for awhile and she saw him she just didnt know who he was since it's been 10 years since she saw him. But he makes a impact when he murders someone for being a dick to her. It was great hehe this man showed Emily he is crazy he craved on her skin, he fucked her on top of his car in public 🔥🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵🥵
Like daddy.. or psycho daddy as for Em I liked she did put up a fight even if she loved everything Stone did she kept her walls up. But when she finds out the truth that night.. poor babies..

I read it only because it was not expensive and short. I was interested in the hero, he is everything that I love. bloody psycho! But the heroine disappointed me. in separation, the heroine had her own life and the guy with whom she slept. the hero was faithful to her all the time.
I think I know what Cream Pie Clean Up is now but I want to remain slightly clueless about it😶🌫️
If you're looking for a short and quick book with a hot overly possessive mmc, a meh fmc, very minimal plot and some smut, turn off your brain and listen to this, but even so it was still kinda boring tbh.
2 stars for Teddy Hamilton and Teddy Hamilton only. ----------------------------------------------------------
One of the trigger warnings in this book is "Cream Pie Clean Up". I have no clue what that means but I'm about to find out I guess😭 Teddy Hamilton I'm doing this for you boo <3
I love dark and gritty romances, and while this book does deliver on that front, it’s a little too short and quick. I feel like the hero and heroine had such a convoluted past together than most of the novella was spent filling in the gaps. The hero and heroine had been separated for ten years, and while the hero had obsessed about being apart from her during that time, it seems that the heroine had moved on, which I didn’t particularly like. In the other book I’ve read by this author, “Stalk Her”, the build-up was much more satisfying and realistic. That said, I enjoyed this story and I loved Stone as a romance hero, and I really think that this would have made for a better full-length story.
sometimes you just need an unhinged, overly possessive MMC where the plot is steamy and hot spice with “daddy” moments to make the world right again … and the audiobook is narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Angelina Rocca, need I say more
5⭐️ for the vibes🥵 I ate this book in less than 2hrs lololol. I have nothing constructive to say except - Teddy fucking Hamilton. 🤭 THIS IS A DARK BOOK, please please please check trigger warnings.
"My Bloody Valentine" is the story of Emily and Stone.
Well this was insanely deranged and sexy, with unhinged characters who had suffered a lot of trauma, but are obsessed with each other. The lovemaking is borderline crazy, but it is so hot and well written.
A really short story where two people met again after a 10 years of separation. The mmc Stone knew the fmc Emily while they’re still young, he was friend with her brother and one day she confessed her feelings for him and he reacted rather harshly and rejected her. Then something happened and Stone got arrested and jailed for years. Emily tried to see him everyday for a year but he rejected her again and again and she finally got the message and moved on.
They met again a decade later when he found her again after trying to search for her (and having difficulty to do so because she changed her last name). Stone is absolutely unhinged and I get why he rejected her confession before. I mean she was 16 y/o at the time not even legal yet but I didn’t like the way he rejected her and then refused to see her for a year while being in jail. I actually liked that she really did move on, having relationships and been with other men (although she wasn’t necessarily that happy about it). I mean what do you expect her to do? Pining over him for a decade while not knowing what he’s been up to and even refusing to see her.. the H however has been celibate which was nice actually to see the roles been reversed once a in a while.
While I didn’t mind the rough sex scenes in this book because Emily liked it that way anyway but there’s also some scenes where she mentioned how he hurt her while he was manhandling her while at the same time enjoying his rough touches on her. I wish there’s less sex scenes (I mean the book was already too short) and I would have enjoyed this more if there’s more flashbacks from their childhood phase.

Umm…alright. Short story, listened to the audio because of Mr. Hamilton and that man doesn’t disappoint … with that said…I could’ve gone my whole life without hearing the term “cream pie clean up” 🫣
Tantalizingly dark and bittersweet This dark romance novella may not be for the faint-hearted, however I quite enjoyed it. Although I personally felt that the ending was a bit sudden and could use a bit more building. Regardless, a quick, hot and almost sinful read!

childhood friends to strangers to lovers!!! HOT HOT HOTTTT. Every time he called her ‘butterfly’ I swooned!! Stone literally had me swooning from beginning to end! Their verbal foreplay and dirty talk… 🥵
Dark. The hero is absolutely crazy about the heroine, and I truly mean crazy. I loved it for all the wrong and ate up all the dark and dirty. I don't know who is worse him or her in this one. I don't want to give anything away, but you have to have an open mind when reading this because it's not soft or sweet like the old Mila, and this is the wildest of the series yet.
'Ten years is a long time to go with your heart ripped out of your damn chest.'
The whole obsessive, stalker-type vibe is my sweet spot. So Stone is top of the line as far as I'm concerned.
Mila has a way of always being able to suck me in with any of her books and she has never left me wanting. Not once.
As per usual as I am reading her pieces, I immediately am ready to pick up another one of her writings directly after closing the previous one. I am ecstatic to know that we are almost always set up with another unique, sexy book promised to be on the way from her writing cave! She really keeps 'em coming!
This book was classic Mila Crawford. It was fast-paced, sizzling with lust, and filled with tension.
These are one day reads, if you need something to pass a long car ride (2.5hrs) - welcome to the spicy world of Mila Crawford, we’re so happy to have you here.
The MMC was a borderline pitch-black character who had me both hooked and on edge, while the FMC’s trauma-filled past made her strength and vulnerability even more captivating.
As always, Mila’s ability to draw me into these characters is unmatched. And the AUDIO? Absolutely ground-breaking. Teddy Hamilton’s portrayal of Stone was nothing short of BRILLIANT. His voice brought Stone’s dark intensity to life, adding a whole new layer to the experience.
I’m already craving more of Mila’s writing and can’t wait to dive into whatever she’s got coming next!
I love a Mila Crawford audiobook in general. Don't know what it is but her books always seem to hit harder when I hear them whereas other only fully impact me when I physically read.
Of course it helps when the male narrator is Teddy Hamilton.👀
I like to go in blind and I very much enjoyed that here! The prologue immediately roped me in and of course I was instantly intrigued by Stone and the trauma he carried.
Mila could've easily gone into more detail and drawn out the past into a full length novel. But honestly, I'm glad she didn't! The time jump was perfect imo, as was the amount of information she gave us to go in with.
Stone is the perfect dark romance ex con MMC and I loved how much contour his character had. He's dark, dangerous and unapologetic. And HOT! I also feel like his POV was crucial to Em's character and I very much enjoyed seeing her through his eyes since it was so different. The way he barrels back into her life and re-introduces himself wasn't only epic but also felt so on character for him while also proving the kind of person Em is through only her reaction.
A delicious push and pull (although the emphasis was certainly on the push in every way), My Bloody Valentine hit the spot for my dark romance smut addiction and I very much enjoyed the writing in this one.
Definitely worth a listen imo!
I kindly received an audio ARC of this book and am leaving a voluntary review
Man oh man! I loved this quick, spicy read! Slicing and dicin! I loved the loved Stone has for Emily. Loved the bad boy meets troubled/traumatized girl in this. It was spicy and so good!
This book was quite literally insane. The FMC had trauma out the wazooo and the MMC Stone was certifiable and killed atleast 2 people for just mentioning his woman!! Ladies don’t ignore the red flags unless they are actually your jam too !!
Omg 🫠🫠🫠🫠 🔥🔥 The audio on this book had me melting, absolutely insane! Stone ♥️ I love him sooo much he’s totally unhinged super obsessive but I don’t care. This book was a super 🥵spicy. I absolutely devoured it. I’ve listened to this audio twice already 🫣
This. Was. Just. Not good. It’s dark but disjointed. The MMC is crazy and obsessed and “in love” but also HORRIBLE to her. The FMC is annoying. It’s just. It’s not good. The audio was the ONLY reason it’s 2 stars. I would just skip this book. Honestly. Skip it.
This book is a knife to the gut—and then a kiss to the wound.
Stone was absolutely feral. Unhinged in the way only a Mila Crawford man can be. We're talking blackout-rage, murder-is-love-language, I-would-skin-the-world-for-you kind of unhinged. And yet… this man is devoted. Psychotic, yes. But also strangely poetic. Every twisted part of him is wired for one purpose: His Butterfly.
And Emily? Baby girl’s been through hell with a smile on her face and trauma stitched into her bones. She’s soft, but not weak. Together, they are… messy. Bloody. Raw. Somehow still tender.
Now let’s talk craft: It’s a novella, and that shows. The pacing bites hard. The trauma? It’s hinted at, but doesn’t always land with the weight it deserves. And Stone’s unhinged devotion, while hot as hell, could’ve hit harder with a longer lead-in. This story needed a bit more marrow in its bones for that 4-5 star punch. So I kinda left wanting.…more! Plot, angst, romance, character arc, just more of everything…
This is all the red flags I gleefully ignored late at night and I would probably do it again.
Writing was good and the storyline was solid for a insta-love style read, but the content was just not for me. I have to give credit to the author who discloses a thorough trigger warning list at the beginning of the book. I personally don’t have any of those trigger warnings, but still found the level of aggression and violence between the main characters to be too much for me to get past and enjoy. You never know unless you try though.
