As Blake’s life quickly spins out of control with substance abuse, a series of explosive events leaves him banned from the Six Saviors with nowhere to go except to Brandy, the waitress from the bar, the Black Cuff.
Sophia, an SR44 female of royalty, lives with her daughter, Megan, in fear of the world outside her small house. Micah, the leader of the Platoon has told her the Colonists are out of control, the streets run red with blood and the Saviors are nowhere to be found in the fight. What a great addition to this series!!
Blake , the half breed, has fallen on hard times. His unrequited love for Annis has him feeling some kind of way, and he has found a solution. Or so he thinks......
Sophia is one of the SR44 females that crash landed in the desert. Micha, the head of the Platoon, has her sequestered away on a small homestead. He has told her lies, but she has no real way of knowing how to confirm those stories. Besides, she has a daughter to think about. The only time they see Micha, is when he comes for the , "breeding "days.
How horrible !!
As Sophia finds herself trying to help Blake, as well as protect her daughter, both of them will find themselves pushed far outside their limits.
I felt their pain and was rooting for them both !!

I'm really enjoying this series but now that the author has gone through the six saviors and Blake and the platoon has been rid of, where can she go? I guess I'll see.

REVIEW: ATONEMENT is the eighth instalment in Carly Fall’s sci-fi, slightly paranormal Six Saviors Series focusing on the remaining warriors of planet SR44 and the women they love.
Background: 6 saviors warriors from planet SR44: Rayner, Hudson, Noah, Cohen, Jovan & Talin. The warriors were sent to earth 212 plus years ago to stop and eradicate the 12 murderers who escaped from one of the moon colonies of planet SR44. The Colonists, as they were soon called, made their way to Earth, took the human body form, mated with the females and populated the earth with Colonist DNA. The savior warriors are part of the elite military from planet SR44, commissioned to remove the Colonists from Earth. The beings on planet SR44 are incorporeal bodies of mist and smoke, each bearing a different color, but in their corporeal bodies on Earth, their eyes will glow their familiar- planet SR44 color each evening. This is ‘half breed’ Blake and SR44 female Sophia’s storyline.
The premise follows Blake’s spiral into hell. Blake is what is known as a half breed-half Colonist and half human-the very thing that the Saviors hunt and destroy. As a former FBI agent, Blake is aware of the SR44 existence and has sided with the Saviors in their war against the Colonists but Blake’s appearance is not well accepted or trusted; he’s wanted by the FBI for refusing to hand over the SR44 warriors; and his self esteem and sense of worth takes a nose dive when he falls victim to drugs and sex and someone who cashes in on Blake’s notoriety.
Throughout the story and during Blake’s drug induced haze, he will be visited by an Angel-an astral projection of a woman who seems to call to his soul. When Blake discovers that Sophia is actually an SR44 female, held against her will, Blake will put all of his efforts into fighting for her safety-but it will come at a cost.
ATONEMENT is a storyline that is slow to build as Carly takes the reader on two differing paths that will culminate in the capture of Blake and the release of Sophia and her daughter. We are pulled into a story of one man’s fall from grace and his need to atone for his sins. The remaining Saviors have a difficult time forgiving and trusting Blake, and in the end, it is Sophia who will come to Blake’s defense when he is accused of a crime against one of their own.
The secondary characters include all of the previous storyline couples as well as SR44 survivors and newcomers Micah and Jael. There is anger among the newest arrivals directed at the original Six Saviors for the perceived lack of success against the Colonists, and with the anger will come resentment, retribution and pain. It is difficult for the surviving members of planet SR44 to accept that there is nothing left of the place they once called home and the original Six are targeted for destruction.

ATONEMENT is a story of betrayal and heartbreak; addiction and recovery; learning to love and letting go. The savior warriors are part of the elite military from planet SR44, commissioned to remove the Colonists from Earth. The beings on planet SR44 are incorporeal bodies of mist and smoke, each bearing a different color, but in their corporeal bodies on Earth, their eyes will glow their familiar- planet SR44 color each evening. This is ‘half breed’ Blake and SR44 female Sophia’s storyline.
The premise follows Blake’s spiral into hell. Blake is what is known as a half breed-half Colonist and half human-the very thing that the Saviors hunt and destroy. As a former FBI agent, Blake is aware of the SR44 existence and has sided with the Saviors in their war against the Colonists but Blake’s appearance is not well accepted or trusted; he’s wanted by the FBI for refusing to hand over the SR44 warriors; and his self esteem and sense of worth takes a nose dive when he falls victim to drugs and sex and someone who cashes in on Blake’s notoriety.
Throughout the story and during Blake’s drug induced haze, he will be visited by an Angel-an astral projection of a woman who seems to call to his soul. When Blake discovers that Sophia is actually an SR44 female, held against her will, Blake will put all of his efforts into fighting for her safety-but it will come at a cost.
ATONEMENT is a storyline that is slow to build as Carly takes the reader on two differing paths that will culminate in the capture of Blake and the release of Sophia and her daughter. We are pulled into a story of one man’s fall from grace and his need to atone for his sins. The remaining Saviors have a difficult time forgiving and trusting Blake, and in the end, it is Sophia who will come to Blake’s defense when he is accused of a crime against one of their own.
The secondary characters include all of the previous storyline couples as well as SR44 survivors and newcomers Micah and Jael. There is anger among the newest arrivals directed at the original Six Saviors for the perceived lack of success against the Colonists, and with the anger will come resentment, retribution and pain. It is difficult for the surviving members of planet SR44 to accept that there is nothing left of the place they once called home and the original Six are targeted for destruction.

ATONEMENT is a story of betrayal and heartbreak; addiction and recovery; learning to love and letting go. As a fan of the Six Saviors series, I've been looking forward to Blake's story for quite some time. He's fallen pretty far since losing Annis to Cohen. It was hard seeing his decline, but that just made it better watching him rise again and find his way back, finding stability in Sophia, the heroine, and Megan her adorable little daughter. Of all the Six Saviors books, this one was probably the most suspense and action focused, and to me it was more focused on Blake's journey than anything else. However, I found Sophia to be an endearing character and an essential part of Blake's journey, which made her an important character. The romance was sweet, and the suspense kept me on the edge of my seat.
It was also nice seeing the other characters, as always. It was like greeting old friends after a long time away, and being excited to see all the new developments their lives have taken.

I've loved all of the Six Savior series and this book was no exception. Carly does an excellent job portraying Blake's substance abuse. I refuse to give away spoilers but there were things that I'd been waiting to happen throughout the series that finally did for which I was happy. That said, because certain things happened, I have a feeling that this is the last of the Six Saviors and that makes me sad. I've enjoyed all the adventures and the relationships that were built in the series. Not just the romantic ones but the strong friendships between one another.

After dealing with being a half human and colonist and falling in love with a SR44 things just played out all wrong for Blake. It took the road o f destruction to bring his life back to construction with his new found family of Saviors.

I loved it. The pain Blake was in and the lengths he went to to try and cover it up was wow. Carly Fall wrote another great book. Blakes story and Hudsons story are my favorite but i love them all.

I really enjoyed this story. The portrayal of Blake's fall was very moving. I felt his pain.

Started off way too dark for my tastes, and there is too much rape in the story. I'm glad it ended well, but the ride was fairly rocky.
