While visiting Bermuda about eleven years ago, I asked a bookseller for the recommendation of a book which was set in Bermuda. This was the book recommended and bought. The novel, which takes place during the American Revolution, is interesting. I particularly enjoyed learning more about Bermuda's history and especially its situation during the Revolution.

Set in the time of the American Revolution., beginning in Virginia’s Tidewater region and moving to Bermuda. Eugenie deBeaumont has been sent by France to learn whether or not the Patriots will support a Revolution and becomes entangled herself. An historical novel with many familiar names and
