If you hate something, would you change it? And if you change it, will you like it? How did that happen?
Jonahmae Pacala (publishing as Jonaxx) was never fond of reading longnovels during her elementary years but found a deep connection with sshort sad stories. She discovered her flair for writing at the early age of ten. What was once a hobby has now grown into a passion for writing online.
"This is the reason why I hated her so much. I hated her because I'm falling for her—fast and really, really hard." —Jayden Corpuz"
Ever since, I really liked Jayden from TTL so I was very happy when he had his own story. And until now, my rating for this book is still the same after rereading this book. The book version is edited so there's some improvement but you can still see how different Jonaxx's narration from then to now.
I loved the Ramas, Charity's family, they reminded me of the Montefalco family. Crazy, loud and tight. Another reason why I loved this book other than because of Jayden and Charity.
Jayden and Charity are very different. Jayden is formal and gentleman while Charity is very outgoing and loved her freedom. When they met there was an instant tension, because Jayden hated her at first sight for all the wrong reasons and Charity found it interesting and annoying.
"The best way to get people to like you is not to like them too much."
They've been playing this rule since their path crossed, having insecurities and wanting assurance. Jayden being insecure because of his last relationship and Charity being insecure as well since they met. Jayden made her feel that way which is very new for Charity; She was confident before but his unexplainable hate towards her made her question herself somehow.
That's why I liked Charity's personality, she's an alpha female. She's not afraid to be true to herself. Still immature but she learned to comprised and so is Jayden. He might be wrong for being judgemental and wanted to control Charity but he learned from his mistakes.
They were both immature but they both learned to compromised and be mature. The special chapter is nice, too. It made me want to bitch slap Jayden's mother and happy to know that they're pregnant.
I expected so much from it because hello it's the great Jonaxx but I guess I should try the other works of her. This is my first book from her that I read and I expected a lot from it because I heard a lot of good reviews about the writings and works of ms. Jonaxx but this book didn't give. The plot is clichè, no plot twist or whatsoever, the characters feels unreal and also it seems like I'm reading a story written by a 16 year old. Don't get me wrong, but this book is not the best and didn't move me at all (You know, I expect it to be that sad because of the title and blurb of the book). That's all, don't be angry at me. This is an honest review.
Hindi ko gusto si Jayden! Red flag!
I love how the book was written it's just that I want Jayden to grovel more. Charity deserves much better. I hate that Jayden didn't defend Charity after being slapped by Trisha. I love Charity's character on how she doesn't give an f about Jayden after what happened. I'll give it a 3 bec charity deserves much better!! She carried the whole series

I would still rate this 4 over 5 because I love Charity. Yes I love Jayden too. I love how pure she is. This story was kinda sensitive for those people who doesn't have reading comprehension. Yes Jayden was a red flag at first but at least they still have character development.

Pero the fact na realistic kaayo ang characters nila it made the story good naman.
I was just browsing for some most read stories in Wattpad when I stumbled to this story. The book summary was very catchy. Why catchy? It’s because this is about the story between two people who started as enemies. Well, sort of? Hehehe. I don’t want to be a spoiler, so I won’t tell anything to you. If you’re that curious, then give this story a shot.
Just like its predecessor, “Training to Love”, this book is undeniably another hit from the author. I like how words were used and scenes we’re created. If someone would say that it’s a very cliché story, then I’m gonna bitch at you. Why?, because this book is way too good to be called cliché. I know I said earlier that it’s somewhat a love-hate relationship, but this one’s different. The guy hates the girl for some unknown reason, that’s certainly the first time I encountered such plot.
No dull or corny and too cheesy moments. I really really like the story. For a known dialogue reader like me, surprisingly, I read this story line by line. (ohaa!) I was even able to finish this in just one sitting. That engrossing story eh? Very!
This is another masterpiece from Jonaxx. Read this book and be ready to fall in love.
Another swoon worthy read from one of my fave author on Wattpad. Read it on one-sitting and really enjoyed it. I am really fascinated with stories where the guy have a bipolar attitude. It adds some spice to the story tbh. At first I hate Cha's character because she's a brat, loves to party and isn't serious almost about every relationship she had but I come to love her character when that dripping moment came where she's willing to change for that one person she loves which is Jayden. But sometimes I don't see the change tbh. Jayden minds her business when she's on the verge of lighting her cigarette because he thought her name was Trisha which is just her coverup name for another day in a bar and that makes Jayden grew attraction to her until he sees that she's opposite of Trisha who's decent, formal, etc. But as times pass, she realize that he love Charity despite her flaws. I hate Jayden's mother tho for being judgmental which I didn't saw in #TTL when Jayden introduce Trisha to her family, but now I see her attitude too clearly.I love the push and pull theory happening between the two of them. It's just soooo sweet. Jonaxx really never fails...
I think I'm on a Filipino Wattpad stories reading spree. :)
This story is a companion novel to Training To Love about Trisha's ex, Jayden.
Jayden meets Charity, a wild party girl, the daughter of Cebu City's Mayor. It's a cute love-hate relationship. With it's doses of drama, mainly on insecurity and drama. Which Trisha and Troy are slightly responsible for.
I can say that I'm shocked at how Jayden is.
So hot. And sexy. Really mature. Can't believe this side of him wasn't shown in Training To Love.
Wow. Just wow.
Though I loved Troy and Trisha's story because it definitely made me cry, I liked this one, too.
I really wasn't planning on leaving a review, but since there seems to be a shortage of those here, a story which I feel deserves one, I'm going to write one.
My heart...I think it's on overdrive right now, after feeling so many different emotions becaus of this book. Happiness. Kilig. Inis. More kilig. Rage. Kilig with hotness. Sadness. Heartbreak. Kilog again. And then bloody mirder. And then kilig with hotness again. Amd then finally, finally, you'll just end up crying tears of joy because at the end of it all, through all the trials they faced, through Jayden's kasungitan and Charity's partying, they made it. They pushed through. They got their happily ever after.
Truly, this author, Ms. jonaxx is a genius. I'm convinced she has magic fingers that make each story of hers a,azing and worth reading.
