Title: 21st Century Psychos: The Most Horrifying Killers of the Modern Era
Author: Al Cimino
This book? 😳
Deeply disturbing… but impossible to put down.
21st Century Psychos is one of those true crime reads that pulls you in and doesn’t let go. I read this as an ebook—and honestly? I need a physical copy on my shelf because it’s that impactful.
What makes this stand out is how real and modern it feels. These aren’t distant, historical cases—these are crimes shaped by the world we live in now. Technology, the internet, the dark web… it adds a whole new layer of fear knowing how these tools have been used in such horrific ways.
The cases themselves are chilling. From calculated predators hiding in plain sight to shocking, high-profile tragedies, every chapter leaves you unsettled. The psychological insights and case breakdowns make it even more gripping—you’re not just reading what happened, you’re trying to understand why.
⚠️ This is not a light read.
It’s raw, intense, and at times genuinely hard to process—but that’s what makes it so powerful.
If you’re a true crime reader who wants something that feels current, disturbing, and deeply thought-provoking… this one will stay with you long after you’ve finished.

3.75 ⭐️ This book offered a look at psychos in the 21st century. It had some well-known killers as well as some lesser known ones. I thought it was pretty well researched although some chapters seemed super short and had little information while others were much longer. There were quite a few grammatical errors, and there were a few discrepancies with the dates at the top under each killer’s name.
