I really enjoy this novella, but it left me wanting more..not more as in length, but more substance..both Esther and Ammon were like-able, I really liked the growth I saw in both of them, I just felt it happened too fast..I know it had to be rushed in order to fit into a novella, but still, there should be more satisfaction and I didn't feel that at the end...

The Christmas Aprons was another look at the cozy little town of West Kootenai, Montana, and the young Amish bachelors that show up there. But I don't tire of reading about this little town nor of the stories that Tricia Goyer has to tell us, even if they are fictional.

When Ester discovers that vanilla crumb pie is more than just dessert for her and how it plays the opposite of what she's been taught by her mom, my heart over joyed for her. She learns a lot about herself and what she wants in her future.

I loved it and I wanted more.

This is my first Amish Christmas story....actually, my first Amish story.

The Christmas Aprons is your basic boy meets girl story. A young woman temporarily moves to a new town to help her cousin with her new baby. She meets the "new guy."

I learned a few new words and have the recipe for a great sounding pie.

A novella in West Kootenai. Esther's mom sends her the vanilla crumb pie recipe that might send her to Missouri with a special apron.
