This short version of Barron's large GRE test preparation manual presents three full-length model exams, practice questions covering all test subjects, and review sections offering brush-ups in college-level math and vocabulary. All math and analytical ability review sections and questions on the model exams have been replaced with updated material that reflects the Graduate Record Exam as it is being given today.
I loved the way the book was laid out, however I found some mathematical errors (and I'm no genius) and this book has gone through way too many editions to have any errors. Otherwise, the book explained problems better than the Dummies series.
I was really excited to find a novel-sized GRE study guide... until I started reading the answer explanations. It suggests doing most things the hard way. I definitely wouldn't suggest this for anyone looking for anything beyond the most basic "cheat sheets."
Arg. Pretty good considering what you have to do - the tips given are helpful and easy to read when you are reading them in the car before the actual test
