c2001 (13) This is a great quick read covering some of the major archaeological discoveries and updating some old well known ones. The layout was good - split into the discoveries per continent and some good illustrations. I would recommend to those of the normal crew that have a passing interest in archaeology and history. Pretty standard non-fiction collection of archaeological sites around the world. Typically one or two sheets per site. Since its publication, a number of these sites have probably been subjected to "newer" interpretations, or perhaps even surpassed in importance by more recent discoveries.
