"Life and death all of it at the mercy of the cards and those who play them."
The story follows Hudson Tremaine, a streetwise gambler, who's made a name for herself but she's also made more than a few enemies in the gambling underworld. She gets invited to play in the most underground card tournaments of all-the Arcanos Mysterinos- competing against demons, demigods, magicians, and more. She realizes the stakes are higher than she ever imagined possible as these games shape the fate of the world for good or ill.
Overall: right off the bat, the cover drew me in & I loved the comic's composition. However, the story was a bit muddled to follow & although the concept was cool I feel like it could've been fleshed out a bit smoother. Atleast I enjoyed the ending and the art style.
