• Los Angeles: 3.5 Stars • Fantasy Dad Talk: 3 Stars • Quickly While They Still Have Horses: 2.5 Stars • Interns: 4 Stars • Terrible Argument: 4 Stars • Bad Boy: 4.5 Stars • Wood Sorrel Horse: 4.5 Stars
Some of the stories were fresh and left me wanting more. The first one especially. Many of the others fell a little flat, evoking less emotion than I had hoped.
each short story is infused with a good helping of dread that really just kept me chugging along; enjoyed having this to space out some of my other reading
Los Angeles 2 - uh okay? Fantasy Dad Talk 5 - parent issues? READ THIS Quickly while they still have horses 1 - entitled people + animals = depression for me Interns 2 - okay story looking at a professional gf from an outside perspective Terrible argument 2 - premise would have been better if the arguments were more contained Bad boy 4 - whew, tough read Wood squirrel house -
I liked this set of stories more than I liked other sets. I enjoyed that they were all different genres so if I didn't care for one story the others made up for it.
*** Volume 0: Issue 6**** I thought this was the best one yet. I enjoyed most of the stories. There were 2 that weren't my favorite, but weren't horrible.
