Read this as parting of a training program and I am really excited about this psychodynamic approach to therapy. It just makes so much sense and the theory is helpful to hang on to as a psychotherapist. The book is written well and easily readable. I would not recommend it for patients though.

This book is hands down the best guide on TFP treatment for BPD, I especially appreciate the step-by-step guidance on how to do the interpretation. Besides the obvious exquisite demonstration of clinical techniques, the authors write beautifully.

For psychotherapist who have been in Transference-focused therapy themselves and doing longterm therapy. Unfortunately few therapists nor patients have rhe financial resources to undergo these kind of therapies.
