This series started out great. By the time I got to this book, I realized the author was out of ideas. All the books are the same basic plot...same thing happens...it just got boring. That being said.....listen to them as an audiobook, while doing dishes, vacuuming, etc......still good ear fodder!
He was lost to her she thought so she was grief stricken and when she went connect with her grandmother in the past she ended up tried as a witch. Read on for more to What happens
Piper believes she has black magic from a wicked ancestor. She goes back in time to have it out with her but is ready to be drowned for being a witch. Author Cassidy Cayman finds a ray to get Piper home but is she possessed?
Loving the series. I have never read books so quickly, I just cannot stop reading once I start. Completely entrancing. Well done and please keep them coming.
I became a fan of this series after reading just one paragraph of the first book. Since then, I've fallen love with, giggled, laughed and cried with these amazing characters. if one hasn't read the first few books in said series, I HIGHLY recommend doing so lets you get confused. Even as a fan of time travel, Scottish romances the back and forth combined with timelines can become confusing. There's plenty of adventure, mystery, family, love and hijinx in this book. of course with that ending I'm already chomping at the bit for the next book. All in all a fun read that I highly suggest people read!
I am thorougly hooked on this series! I felt so badly for Piper and Lachlan. They had to figure out their own battles besides wishing and wanting to be back together. I'm still curious about Sam and Evie. They seemed so good in the beginning, then fell apart and now they are engaged?? Whew! Onto the next book! Definitely consider this series if you like the Highlander effect and modern time travel.
The ending for this one didn't seem like an ending at all. It doesn't feel resolved and was kind of abrupt and unsettled. There are lots of plot holes in this one too.
For whatever reason Reckoning didn't flow the way the others did.
I didn't enjoy this book as much as the other two, It's understandable since the series is somewhat lengthy, but I just wasn't really interested especially because there is a massive time-jump. Going to read the next one soon.
This is one series you can NOT miss!! Evil witches, nasty grandmothers, a hot, hot, hot Scot Highlander, a tiny little heroine and her best friend all in Scotland!! Add a little time travel and what a journey you'll be on!!
Okay, when you go traipsing through time, you are bound to miss each other. So the average person would stay put and wait for the others return. These characters are not the average. So be prepared for a confusing but amusing tale.
More wonderful story telling from this great author. Luckily I’m able to binge read the series rather than wait on tenterhooks for each book. If you love time-travel romance you must give this a try.
Ok I think the series is back on track now. It will be interesting though to see what is the actual trigger to the time jumping....is it a person or a place?
