This the perfect book to tote with you to the nursery when you're picking out plants. I wrote it for folks who want healthy, lovely landscapes. You'll discover the best trees and shrubs for specific sites; how best to arrange them in the landscape; and step-by-step sustainable maintenance and planting practices demonstrated by a certified arborist. At the back of this 416-page book you'll find a succinct 12-page chart of trees and shrubs to fit your fancy and suit your surroundings. You can see at a glance whether a particular shrub will thrive in wet soil and attract wildlife or find a small flowering tree with four seasons of interest suited to dry zones. Use this book and enjoy!
