An afternoon read, great for between longer books. Low-drama, high spice, and lots of hockey.

Daisy figured being a beta meant a drama-free life.

No messy mating bonds, and steady work was always easy to find. That all goes out the window when she takes a live-in nanny gig for a hockey player who's suddenly become a single "dad" to his baby half-brother. As if that wasn't enough, his pack includes two other seriously hot alphas. Not that they would be interested in a beta like her. Or so she thinks...

Nate, star forward for the Vipers, is totally in over his head. Baby duty on top of hockey? Yeah, that's a big yikes. Thank goodness for Daisy, who's a natural with the little guy. Plus, she smells amazing, but she's a beta, so it shouldn't mean anything, right? He's only ever felt this kind of pull towards his packmates...

Peter, ex-hockey star with a bum leg and a grumpy attitude, has his walls built up higher than a goalie net. But there's something about Daisy that makes him want to let his guard down. And Calvin, the Vipers' chill goalie, is pretty much smitten from the get-go. Daisy just fits with them, like the perfect puzzle piece.

Turns out, Daisy isn't the beta she thought she was. Nope, she's a late bloomer, and her inner omega is wide awake now, thanks to the three hot alphas she's living with.

Can this unexpected family learn to deal with diapers, puck bunnies, and a whole lot of surprise feels? Or will Daisy's late-in-the-game omega awakening totally wipe them out? This spicy Omegaverse hockey romance Why-Choose/RHHockey games and practicesScent-MatchedLate Presenting Omega (Age 26)Live-In NannyFound FamilyKnotting/Heat/NestingHurt/ComfortAlpha with a disabilityTouch Her And DieLow Angst/ High HeatGuaranteed HEA with no choosing!Puck You Omegaverse is an interconnected-standalone Spicy Hockey Omegaverse Romance series that can be read out of order.

Cute, spicy and short book.
Saw this from my friends hopeful and another book from her that I knew I wanted to read as well :)

I love omegaverses. Short ones and long ones. Multiple alphas and only one alpha.

This was short, a little bit of angst, instant attraction, omega awakening.

Our FMC was fated to meet her alphas even though she never thought it to be possible. Her friend and the friends BF sucked.

Baby William was adorable. When the grumpiest alpha becomes a softer for his love ☺️

I don't know if it's just my copy, but for the epilogue all it says is chapter 15, Daisy and then the book is over?

Felt rushed and unfinished, and way too “easy.”

**SPOILERS**

Daisy is in desperate need of a new job as her longtime roommates kick her to the curb. She finds an ad seeking a beta nanny for an infant and jumps at the opportunity. The job is for a 3 month old boy whose parents recently died and he is now in the care of his hockey playing half brother. Nate, the hockey player is desperate, he’s in the middle of his season and he now has an infant he doesn’t know how to take care of. Daisy comes in at the perfect moment. Baby William takes to her, Nate likes her well enough, and Nate’s packmates (with the exception of businessman Peter) like her as well. Daisy moves in and things seem to be moving in the right direction. Then bam, Daisy realizes the alpha’s smell really good, she gets hot and bothered one day, and the guys realize she’s in her first ever heat as a late presenting omega. Once Daisy rides out her heat with the guys, Peter comes around because he had prejudices against Betas and wanted an omega - the fact that Daisy now is an omega is perfect in his book. Eventually Daisy bonds with the alphas (they’re scent matched) and they all live HEA.

**THOUGHTS/OPINIONS**

This book had the potential to be good but kind of failed miserably. It was WAY TOO RUSHED, way too easy, and felt, frankly, unfinished. The fact that one day Daisy (who has been a beta for 26 years) is a beta and then the next and omega wasn’t the problem, it was that she literally HAD NO PROBLEMS with this designation switch. There was ZERO DRAMA, or issues in this book. Daisy literally was like, “oh I’m an omega now, great. Let me grab the baby like normal.” HUH?!!! You would think that switching designations would cause Daisy some discomfort or problems, but no. There is no mention of having to register her new designation, or her having o stacked to overcome. She literally just ACCEPTS her new designation as if it’s nothing. Her life doesn’t change at all - save the fact that she’ll now have heats! And the guys, are just as blase about her new designation. Sure they’re happy, but they have one short conversation about how they’d like to date her as an omega, and that is it!!! It’s one thing to read a cozy verse and another to get a book as full as dishwater. With no problems, difficulties, obstacles or drama, this book was a very boring read. It also sped by at lightning pace! It was like Daisy needed work, Daisy finds work, Daisy becomes an omega, the end. The book felt unfinished, and lacked any sort of depth. The characters also had NO PERSONAL GROWTH. They were flat, and uninteresting. I’m sad to say that what could’ve been a sweet, and saucy tale, ended up like stale bread.

Listen… I thought I was just dipping into another quick, spicy read to break up my TBR stack—and next thing I know, I’m emotionally attached to a baby, a grumpy ex-player with a bad leg, and three hockey-playing alphas who made me want to start nesting right along with Daisy.

Puck Your Nanny snuck up on me with all the sweetness wrapped in layers of steam. Daisy's a beta—or so she thinks—and signs on as a live-in nanny for Nate, who suddenly finds himself raising his baby half-brother while juggling life as a Viper on the ice. Add in Peter (grump with a hidden soft core and some serious trauma) and Calvin (the flirty, easygoing goalie who stole my heart instantly), and you've got a pack that screams "chaotic wholesome." And I ate up every second of it.

Daisy was easy to love—nurturing, capable, and trying her best to stay in her safe little beta lane. But the slow burn of her awakening? Watching her bloom into her true self with these alphas who see her and crave her just hits different. It’s not about them “fixing” her—it's about giving her the space to be and then falling hard for who she really is.

Also: “late-bloomer omega” is a trope I didn’t know I needed in my life, and now I want more of it immediately. It gave the spice an extra emotional punch because you can feel how intense and raw the connection is as her dynamic shifts and her world turns upside down. The pack doesn’t hesitate to make space for her, protect her, and dote on her—even when diapers and puck bunnies and hockey chaos are flying all over the place.

The heat? Off the charts. The comfort? Like being wrapped in your favorite hoodie with a cup of cocoa… if said hoodie was owned by three dominant alphas who want to absolutely ruin you (respectfully, of course).
The best part? The love and acceptance are unconditional. This is found family at its filthiest and fluffiest.

If you’re in the mood for an Omegaverse that doesn’t make you wade through pain and angst to get to the good stuff, but still delivers all the swoons, heat, and protective alpha energy? Puck Your Nanny hits the spot—hard and sweet.

This reverse harem story swept me in right from the start. Daisy, who has always believed she was a beta, finds her world turned upside down when she discovers she’s actually a late-blooming omega. Her need for a new home and job lands her as a live-in nanny caring for baby William—and also places her in the path of three very different alphas: Nate, Calvin, and Peter.

I loved how the author balanced the fast-paced setup with enough emotional depth to make Daisy’s struggles feel grounded. The betrayal and rejection she’s carrying into this new situation makes her cautious, but the genuine care and protectiveness of the alphas slowly builds trust and connection. One of the highlights for me was watching Daisy learn to embrace her new identity while her partners respected her autonomy and growth rather than forcing a bond.

Peter especially stood out to me—I adored seeing his softer side emerge in a way that allowed Daisy to feel cherished rather than like a burden. The group dynamic had tender moments, protective instincts, and plenty of heat. While there were a few conversations I wished had been explored more fully, the overall balance of character development and spice made the book both engaging and satisfying.

Speaking of spice—wow. The intimate scenes were not constant, but when they came, they were passionate, detailed, and memorable. Each one built on connection rather than just chemistry, making them that much hotter.

The multiple POVs gave dimension to the story, and the epilogue wrapped things up with a satisfying happily-ever-after.

✨ Spice: 4.5/5
✨ HEA: 5/5
✨ Overall: 5/5.

Shorter read but I really liked this one along with the others in the series. Poor Daisy as you just wanted to hug her when the family she was a nanny for just moves away and no longer needs her services but then after crashing at her besties’ place with the besties’ boyfriend, I just wanted to squeeze her even harder. Why the bestie doesn’t stick up for her and lets the boyfriend kick her out of the only place she currently has while trying to find another job is heartbreaking. But thankfully she finds a position that needs a live in nanny urgently because of an emergency guardian situation for a pro hockey player and his newborn nephew. Their only requirement is that she has to be a Beta which thankfully she is so she moves in and starts right away to take care of Nate’s infant brother but other than her kind and caring way, there is something that peaks the 3 guys’ interest. Nate, Peter and Calvin have been a pack and also super understanding about the situation they find themselves in but are struggling because of their high profile careers. Nate and Calvin are still on the hockey team but Peter was injured and on the sidelines now but still involved. Being around the guys are great as Daisy finds them all attractive and they think she is beautiful too but everything gets tossed up in the air when Daisy being around the guys constantly suddenly goes into Heat and they figure out she really is an Omega. Spice and HEA with some hockey thrown in and it’s a win win for me. Only wish it was a little longer as I felt like I was just getting into the characters when it was over. But sold 4/5 star book

This is an easy read, but it suffers from lack of proofreading. It’s short, and you feel it. There’s really no character development.

For example, does Daisy have hobbies? Does she have likes or dislikes? Do any of the men? Why is Peter so against having an Omega at the start?

Two days into her nannying gig, Daisy finds out she’s a late presenting Omega. She tries to ignore it, because she’s attached to the baby. It’s been two days. Meanwhile, the men also start smelling her and they don’t say anything either.

Despite their reticence to having an Omega, the men accept her presentation with no drama. They go on a couple of boring dates, then they bond. That’s that.

Honestly, the author should have put a little bit of effort into fleshing out this story. It’s very barebones.

Also, I have to say I was a bit offended when a week into her nannying job, Daisy decides she shouldn’t be paid for childcare because she’s sleeping with the men. Why would childcare suddenly become unpaid labor at that point? How would it make any sense for Daisy to get a different job? Are they going to hire another nanny or is she just going to be a full time nanny for free now?

Due to the lack of actual story in this book, we never find out the answers to those questions. Daisy does not explore her interests in other careers, nor does the issue of finances ever come up again.

This book was given to me through booksprout in exchange for my honest review.
This review is based on the original unpublished version.

It is an omegaverse why choose mfmm hockey romance.
It is an open door explicit story meant for mature readers over the age of 18.

Daisy is a Beta nanny in need of a new job.

Nate is the Captain of the NAHL Vipers who suddenly finds himself guardian to his 3mth old half brother William.

Calvin is the Goalie for the NAHL Vipers
&
Peter is a retired veteran Hockey player who is involved behind the scenes for the team.

This book was pleasantly surprising to read. It had romantic elements, and charming moments.
I found it to be pretty well written, and the scenes were tied together nicely.

I almost wish there was a bit more length, interacting dialogue, and backstory.
Yet, what is there made the time pass bye fairly quickly, and easily.

It was a relaxing page turning read.

If all of her books are composed to at least this standard.
I think I would recommend this author’s books for future reading.

Each of the three Alphas are surprised to discover that Daisy, their Beta nanny, is actually an unpresented Omega. Not as surprised as Daisy herself! She’s the very definition of late bloomer. This adds a twist to the Nanny trope, although I don’t see how a group of Alphas could knowingly hire an Omega nanny, so I don’t know how else the story could have gone. Still, though not the most original story, it was very entertaining. One of the things I liked was that each of the men in this RH romance, Nate, Peter, and Calvin, had a distinct personality without having to be extremes like oil, vinegar, and water. I also liked that in addition to sexytime with the whole pack, Daisy spent separate time with each of the men. This helped keep the alphas as separate characters rather than cookie-cutter figures. Add to that a cute kid and some former-roommate drama, and you get an enjoyable book.

Big win for me: This isn't dark. I needed a break from my current reading material and this was it.

Tragedy left Nate as guardian to his infant half-brother, but he and his packmates, Peter and Calvin, are stumped on how to care for him. The answer to their prayers comes in the form of Daisy, a beta they hire to nanny the baby and help them find their foundation as a new family. Nate's requirement and excitement that Daisy's a beta is short-lived when she presents (late) as an omega and as scent match to Nate, Peter, and Calvin.

The peace they thought they'd had is gone as they learn to navigate this new dynamic, work through their issues as a pack, and raise a child who has already lost so much.

This was everything but dark. It was funny, happy and sad, cute and sobering at times, and overall wonderful to read.

'I stand there, watching them. This quiet, unassuming Beta, who smells like nothing— that's unsettling— but there's something about her, about the way she holds William, her demeanor. She didn't come in here expecting things to change. She's just here to help.'

I really enjoyed this book. Good world building and wonderful characters. I was so incredibly angry on Daisy's behalf for what her "best friend" and boyfriend did to her. I was impressed she didn't rage or yell or call them on on the bull! After searching for so long, the perfect position falls into her lap at the time she needs it most- and when the guys and that little baby need her the most. She was so good with little William. I liked Nate, Calvin, and Peter. Their personalities differed, but they respected and supported each other and their family. I liked the way the relationship developed between the four of them. 4 stars

Short and steamy read that will get your juices flowing! Daisy was in a pickle and needed to find a job ASAP and a new place to live. So when a nanny position comes up in her email she’s fast to jump on it and hopeful. The unexpected death of Nate’s father and stepmother leaves him with his infant half brother. As a high profile hockey and an alpha Nate is struggling to get ahold of instant parenthood. His alpha mates, Peter and Calvin, are helping as best they can but as just as clueless when it comes to babies. So when Daisy shows up for the interview and is a beta, Nate is so relieved. She’s perfect! Until she suddenly presents as an omega! At 26 it’s unheard of to present so late that’s why she was always told she was a beta. Not only is she an omega but she’s their scent match. I love how they work through all the hiccups along the way and take the time to really get to know each other.

At 26 Daisy, a live-in nanny who is between jobs, finds herself two weeks away from being homeless. At the same time Nate, a professional hockey player, finds himself the guardian of his infant half brother through a tragic loss. As fate would have it, they both are connected through the same agency NannyJobs4U. The biggest stipulations for the nanny are living with a pack of Alphas, being able to start in 2 days, have a degree in Child Development and most importantly be a Beta. Check, check and check. But what happens when Daisy's whole world is turned upside down and she discovers the hard “in heat” way that she is actually an omega? This is a well-developed story that has a nice clueless omega twist, sweet Alphas, sorrow and loss with some hockey thrown in. I enjoyed this read and would recommend it.

If you’re looking for a short read in between books, or want to get into reading omega verse books but not wanting to commit to a really long read this is perfect. It does have a triggering theme as the main plot so make sure and read those. Daisy is a 26 year old beta, who stumbled upon a live in nannying ad for hockey players who one of which just became guardian for his half 3 month old baby brother what she doesn’t realize is she’s actually a late blooming omega. This was such a cute read while sombering at times. It moved pretty quickly, making it easy to get through. It has lots of spice, but it doesn’t take over the entire book, even though she presented late they each made time to make her feel special and courted her which I found cute. It’s also got the cutest baby ever.

When I try to think of a succinct way to describe this book, the only term I can think of is “wishy-washy.” There’s no true tension at any point in the story. The plot point of presenting late was a problem for .2 seconds, and then everyone moved on. I can confidently say that there’s more romantic chemistry between me and my morning cup of coffee than there was between our heroine and the pack. Also, the friend’s neckbeard of a boyfriend being a twat didn’t warrant a “touch her and die” trope tag at ALL. If this was my first exposure to omegaverse/why choose, I don’t think I’d ever touch the genre again.

oof

It started off really great, and quickly became boring. Also, the amount of spelling and grammar errors are ridiculous. There really wasn’t any depth to the story and there is also not any kind of real conflict. there’s definitely no puck bunny drama, or any tension the blurb leads you to believe is going to be happening. In fact, a lot of the interactions between the characters are filler content like a whole chapter talking about a fondue machine and then the dates that all followed a set pattern. There wasn’t even any real friction between the characters, which you would think there would be more of considering she all of a sudden became an omega.

This is a cute omegaverse!

our FMC is a beta, or so she thinks. Till she arrives to be a nanny and meets her scent matches. Sparks are flying all around. With one reluctant alpha and the rest ready to go! Its a short read, only took me a couple of hours at most. With a HAE and little angst.

The one thing I didnt like was where her one alpha mentioned he didnt want a beta around and treats her kinda crappy, but as soon as he realizes shes his match, he changes his tune. It just had that why dosent he like her as a person or value her for more then her omeganess? I guess its probably human nature, But it made me feel bad for her in her "normal" state.

Sooo cute! This was a quick read, but it hit all the cozy vibes. Daisy is a beta who is currently looking for a new nanny position, when she is given notice she needs to find new housing. Along come Nate, Calvin and Peter who are in desperate need of a nanny after becoming the legal guardians of Nate’s three month old baby brother. Everything is moving along nicely until Daisy realizes she is a late blooming omega. Will Nate, Calvin and Peter kick her out because she isn’t a beta anymore? Or will these 4 turn into something more?

Story 3.25⭐️ Spice 3🌶️
Most of the book was pretty good from an editing standpoint, but what the heck happened to chapter 12? It’s like no one proof read it at all. Overall the story was somewhat interesting. It had aspects of some of my favorite tropes (omegaverse, hockey, found family) but it just didn’t come together quite right. The timeline is also very choppy. I didn’t read the first book in the series because it didn’t sound appealing to me. It’s up in the air whether I will read the next one or not.

closure

It was ok. Quick read.

Confusing at times due lack of closure on a couple issues (media exposure, Freda + the d-bag, & presenting). Couple of repeat paragraphs, grammatical errors, punctuation errors, and the characters seemed a bit flat. Not really in synch with typical OV books.

I read this book to give the author a second chance after being slightly disappointed with the errors/issues in the first book of the series. Needless to say, I will not be reading any more of this series.

Loose Ends

This is a cute fluffy read. There’s just a few details that were mentioned that never panned out. Like where’s Daisy’s mom??? Hell, where’s Nate’s mom?? What happened with the social media stuff? When did they bond?? Did they ever use that fondue machine???

Also, Peter comes across as a little too closed off. Their date was kinda boring. It seems like he’s happy he has an Omega, doesn’t care that it’s Daisy. Also, did he ever fix his beta bias???

I know this is a quick, cute read but I hate when there’s loose ends or I have questions at the end of the book!

Daisy is a nanny who's been out of work for a while. Facing eviction, she luckily lands a last-minute live-in nanny position. The caveat being the bosses are three alphas who want a beta nanny so there's no funny business. Unfortunately/Fortunately Daisy isn't actually the beta she always thought she was.

The writing's not bad, but this just ended up being a very bland read for me. Daisy is a 20-something baby whisperer, and that's pretty much it. The guys are all very surface, especially Peter. It was fine, but I was just kind of bored with it.

I appreciated this as a low-angst read. There is obvious character development and I can empathise with FMC not wanting to make waves for her friend and just leaving feeling disappointed and alone. It’s a light read, some more depth would be good, however that would change it from a quick read, so overall I enjoyed this story. This is my first time reading this author and I think Sara did a good job. Thank you.

Daisy, gets more than she bargains for when she finds the “perfect” live in nanny job for 3 alphas who just wound up with a baby to raise.
Nate, Calvin & Peter, aren’t looking for an omega, only a beta to help with the childcare that baby William needs.
When things go awry, the 4 of them come together to not only raise William as a family, but as a pack!
Watching Daisy, grow into her Omega & watching the guys quickly realize she’s perfect for them is wonderful!

So very bland

I don't think I've ever read a more bland book. Even the action-like sections are just slow paced, very brief and slightly boring. The FMC is a bit of a witless wuss. Her only claim to fame is being a quiet caretaker. There are about a dozen threads of potential plot lines which the author just sets them all to the side. Tons of tension with no processing at all, just done and move on because it's resolved by magic. Ugh. The only character I like is the baby.

This is book two in the Puck You Omegaverse Series. I enjoyed this one as much as the first one. I laughed throughout the book. The way the guys reacted to her and the pull they felt was challenging. This had a first for me though. Daisy has been told she is a beta and is twenty-six years old, she ends up presenting as an omega. When the guys put out an ad for a nanny they request a beta. She applies and gets the job.

I liked it! It was fluffy and cute. A great read if you need something lighter, and if you enjoy omegaverse books. It’s about a girl that thought she was a beta and is a late bloomer. She ends us perfuming for three alphas. The three alphas that she is nannying for and that SPECIFICALLY asked for a Beta nanny.
Each of the alphas are grieving something in their lives. It adds a depth to their characters. The characters have each others back.
There is knotting and bonding.

Some mistakes but a cute story

Tragedy has struck, Nate's father passed away along with his stepmother, leaving his 3 month old half brother behind. He desperately needs a nanny, but it has to be a beta. He has a pack you see ... But one right nanny, a late transition, and chaos unfolds.

Overall, this was a cute story. There were a few errors throughout. The level of detail was appropriate for a novella.
