Paranormal isn't my favourite genre but after reading the first book in this trilogy as a free download, I was hooked. This I believe was meant to be a 4 book series so I'm glad the author decided to conclude the story in this book as I don't like series that drag on. It was a great conclusion and I was pleased with which guy won her heart!

I have read on the authors facebook page that fans are keen for her to write a book about another character (or two!) from the Deadly Beauties series and I agree. I would love to read their stories.

I think this author is an up and coming talent. She writes paranormal and contemporary. I look forward to reading her future books.

Spoiler? I am harsh in here. Prob best not to read my review.
This is my word vomit. I expected so much and was so excited but I was just tossed to drown in utter wtf-ness.

The ending = I don't like. It was rushed. I dislike those kinds of endings. I can't comprehend all that happened because it was crazily jumbled. Too fast. Make-shift HEA's don't excite positive feelings from me. They bring distaste.

Blank 1 is so put more of Blank 1 in here! I still don't understand why Blank 1 was .

Why is everyone so mean to Dice? It annoys. Stop hurting him! He's not the victim in place just for everyone to use for the butt of their ugly jokes and dislikable entertainment! I felt like he was the playboy sex-wanting character the author thought up to replace Thad.

There is so much drama in this series and so many things I don't like about the characters.

My least favorite character is the heroine and her 'I am such a badass' (but I'm actually really weak) attitude and that hobby she has of 'kiss everyone, hug everyone, now sleep with so-and-so right away'. She's egotistic, clumsy, controlling, naive, manipulative, wishy-washy, sex-obsessed, inconsiderate, an attention-seeker, a yes-person who's a doormat pleaser, impulsive, has a superior-complex, and ect. Her mentality is like a child. So I'm horrified with the bad ending I rolled my eyes often with her sexing ways. Had to skip parts with Gage because my eyes rolled. Unfaithful, anyone will do huh? Girl's never loved. Just wants to get her way.

As I said, Blank 2's But I felt disgust so ok job making it seem real. Make it more believable next time. The whole seems like an excuse or the scapegoat

BTW, I liked Gage. Despite the thing that was completely ignored the night the heroine found out, because she

So Blank 2's and everything's peachy-fine? Violation of self! She = Doormat?
Despite my feelings that I have certain feelings... For one, I don't know HOW THE FUCK the heroine, , could just fucking

That is the stupidest thing ever, that prophecy, it

If Kane is really such a badass (I didn't see his prowess anywhere), that whole medallion thing, when was it taken off and meanwhile it was on, why didn't Kane kick some ass?

And when did Gage know about Kane? He was kidnapped at the time of the unveil.

Chaz appearing out of the blue... He needed more character development. He likes who? What-the-fuck? And wtf is blushing? Such a lie. Wtf is

Some drama wasn't wrapped up.

I still don't get the whole petting-sleeping thing. What was the whole destiny thing between Kane and Amy? Never explained.

People sure die often and quickly in here.

I feel like the baddies get whupped so fast they're whupped 5 or so sentences after being introduced. *Roll my eyes* All those baddies with names confuse me. Who are they again??

I am left feeling unsatisfied, like I was on a roller coaster of fucking dips and spins but the climax flopped and afterwards it drained down into the ground.
I am left with a bitter taste in my mouth, distaste with how the storyline developed in this last book. Not that so many things didn't irk me in the last two, but the last two, despite the heroine's sexing ways, made me want more, in a good way.
I am simply unhappy with this ending. This could have been more.
Regardless of all this, I have a new author I think I'm interested in reading more of...

Highly recommend! Sometimes series leave you with an unfulfilled feeling at the end, or simple disappointment. This is not the case with Deadly Beauties, last book Red Moon Secrets. I cried and clapped in front of my laptop and felt like I had taken a yummy journey with delicious characters.

Very disappointing end to the series. This one was the opposite of fun, and it took me ages to read. It felt both way too slow and super rushed (for closing plot threads).

I was uncomfortable with how much PDA she allowed in front of her parents. It was… weird. Really, I hated the first chapter entirely. The vibe was not good. And chapter 2? What. The. Fuck. I was not expecting that and it made me sick to my stomach. If you’re triggered by rape or cops, be careful. It messed me up. So, it was a bad start to the book, and it didn’t get better.

In the first book, I liked Kane and Gage. In the second book, I liked Kane and hated Gage. In last book? I don’t like anyone.

By the 50% mark, I never wanted to pick it up. I read so many other things and put this on pause for so long. When I finally pushed through to the end, there were some cool reveals, but not enough to make up for everything else being terrible.

This book is such a good ending to the Deadly Beauties trilogy. Although I'm a Kane girl it's hard to pick just one beauty to fall in love with. I was surprised by secrets revealed the story had my attention enough to read straight through. I highly recommend the entire trilogy no matter which genre you prefer. This is a love story to compete with all love stories loaded with plenty of action!

I read all 3 books in this series back to back, so I'm going to be lazy here and write one review for them all since each book rated 4 stars for me personally. I paid $5.98 for this trilogy and I think it was worth it. The plot was fast paced, and I did enjoy the characters. The story was well executed. I'll definitely read more of this writers work.

No doubt this gets 5 stars. It's unusual to have a trilogy where each book is amazing, but the DEADLY BEAUTIES series is a real winner.

Kane had a lot of groveling to do in book 3. I went from loving him, to hating him, to loving him again. I'm still a big Kane fan. I actually like all the characters, except for Amy. I hated her from book one through three.

I'm happy with the ending, though. Very happy.

This series blew me away

C M Owens writes wildly inventive, sizzling hot romances with a fresh twist on tired old supernatural concepts. If you enjoy erotic paranormal romance with a twist or twenty then C M Owens is one author you should check out.

Holy freaking moly, Batman! This book is so amazingly intense, there's like zero downtime. It's one thing, one surprise, one twist after another - and I loved every single page of it!

Alyssa's powers and destiny can and will no longer be denied. For a Light witch that's grown up being taught that things are black and white, she now more than ever has to embrace and deal with the grey areas of life! In this book Alyssa is not only coming into her powers, she's also embracing her destiny. Though, not until she's certain she wants to. Admittedly, I didn't like her very much in the first 20-30% of the book, because it was like everything had to fit her, not the other way around. To me that's very unattractive in a character.

As a prophesied being Alyssa's powers are thought to be unparalleled. She's the stuff legends and nightmares are made of and finally, freaking finally, she's thriving on the powers she harness. the Light and the Dark alike.

But before we can get to that part there's still a lot of twists, heartache and betrayal! Alyssa's world is turned upside down when she learns what really happened to her mother, and how she only split from Alyssa's father, to protect her. The anger and let down Alyssa has felt towards him no longer has a leg to stand on, and it's time to let go and move on. But in her naivety Alyssa has let someone close to her cast a spell on her, which explains her wavering heart.

I'm finding it really hard to go into details of the plot here, because most little things lead to the epic showdown that's been coming since book 1. What I did have a wee bit of a problem dealing with, and the reason the book is not getting five hearts, are the easiness of it all. All the solutions, answers, get out of jail free cards, keeps falling into their laps. There's no lengthy or detailed plans made, no real anxiety of how they'll cope. I know this is very much down to the fact, that they seem to hear about the problems just as they become unavoidable, which means it's go time. But I do like to hear of the plans, ideas and brainstorming characters have, which I wasn't clued in on in this trilogy. Come to think of it, it's probably because Alyssa is in denial through most of the books. We often read sentences like: "while the others were planning I went into the room" or "I stayed in bed and let them plan it". Thanks a lot, Alyssa.

What I just discovered is, that C.M. Owen's has a spin-off series called The Deadly Beauties Live On. Five new books, that seem to centre around some of the characters we've already met. I'll definitely be giving this a go at some point!

What a ride!!!! ... book 1 I struggled to read. I only kept at it because I’ve loved other books by this author, I’m so glad I did. Book 2 I still had my annoyances but I couldn’t stop thinking about the book every time I had to put it down. The paranormal world built in this series is fantastic! I read a lot of fantasy and it’s refreshing to have Owens put a new spin on the age old paranormal world.
Book 3 WOW, loved it!! So many secrets revealed, shocks, twists and turns.
Team Kane all the way, I was from book 1 but originally more because I never felt Gage was right for Alyssa. I was right on that but all the wrong reasons. Kane & Alyssa are a powerhouse couple. This book Kane became my ultimate book boyfriend, how he accepts Alyssa whole heartedly is swoon worthy!
Alyssa was my annoyance in books 1 & 2 but book 3 she stepped up to be the kick arse herione I love to read. It’s great when an author truly delivers on the “all powerful” character they write about.
Cm Owens is one of my favourite authors! Her writing gets under my skin, buries deep in my soul. I’m tempted to go back to book 1 to re read the trilogy again as I think my opinion will change now understanding the build up.

Gage lost my love. I know his situation had to play out to make the love triangle understandable but I still lost the love & respect for his character.
Thad yay!
I want more Zee and Chaz so I think I need to get the follow on series.

Oh oh and what I loved most about this book is the multiple POV.

WOW.

I loves this series sooo much. It's now one of my very top PRN series EVER. It blows Merit and the Chicagoland sorry excuse for Vampires out of the water. Cat and Bones are still dear to me, but Alyssa and Kane just do it way better.

I love how the author weaved in all the different elements that made this story amazing and special. There was love, lust, deception, humor, scheming, delicious men, and a very badass chick when let loose. It was just everything I could ask for in a story. It had me in shock and sad at times, and other furious and wondering what was going to happen. I think that is the greatest complement to a writer when they make you so invested that you feel all of these emotions and care about the characters.

I felt like for once all the characters had meaning and were true to themselves. I loved the relationships between everyone. But I really loved how for once the heroine and hero didn't have an easy go of things. For once the heroine did move on and wasn't forced to be a doormat and celibate. Alyssa was just a breath of fresh air and I loved Kane's unwavering support for her.

This was just one of the best series in this genre I have ever read and I can't wait to read more from this author.

I really enjoyed this series. I love all things paranormal and all things related to a good love story, so this was a great fit for me. I loved the main female Alyssa and her men, Kane and Gage. I ended up still loving everyone at the end because they all end up where they should be, doing what they should be doing, and with the right person. Very important for me. Alyssa is so lovable. For someone who has been without many friends most of her life, she inspires such love and loyalty. She's so well-developed as a character; kind, caring, scared, confused. I love her as much for her flaws as for her strengths. And all the beautiful me in her world! What's not to love. There are so many good minor characters in these books and they all contribute to make the story better; the action is non-stop, obstacles are thrown at the main characters, and the story arc is good. Not to mention that the sex scenes are smoking hot. Again very enjoyable. I can recommend this to anyone who enjoys the paranormal!

Red Moon Secret is book three. Now that the air is cleared between Kane and Alyssa, she's left with a choice. Oh, and her destiny might just be coming to call. If she can stand up under the pressure of a prophecy that leaves her as the savior or the destroyer... her choice.

Alyssa is the kind of creature that legends are made of. And she is a legend. A prophesied myth. She and her allies are starting to gather, fighting a war they don't even have all the facts on against an enemy who's name they don't know. But they're desperately fighting for their lives.

And everything will come to a head. If Alyssa can make the right choice. If she can follow her heart and not doubt her strength. She just might save them all.

I loved the ending to this story. It was a refreshingly 'nice' finale. Things were how they should be. It was a happy ending. Something that a lot of writers seem to shy away from these days.

Owens writing has improved, it was never awful but there is definitely an improvement within her skill and you can tell that she put her heart and soul in to this conclusion of the Deadly Beauties series. Not only has her writing grown but so have the characters.

I mean, this is a new age romance tale. It's not trying to be anything else. It's effortless and for its genre is very good.

Action packed, twists, turns, and finally answers to what you have been asking since picking up the first book in this series. Alyssa finally learns who she truly is and is finally with the man she is destined to be with. Just purely love this series and can't get enough. Super happy Owens decided to continue on with this series and give the other deadly. beauties a story of their own. 5+ Stars well deserved :)
