A charming little collection of Polish legends focused on the city of Krakow. I was gifted it by Polish relatives when I was a child but never read it until now. It’s not as strong as a stand-alone work as it’s designed to be read almost as a city guide accompaniment. However I can imagine wandering round the city reading these legends would add a lovely dimension to the experience so I look forward to doing it one day!
