In 2037, humankind has made an astonishing a door to a distant planet. Beyond it lies the truth to one of our species' most pressing questions...

Are we alone?

An aging astronomer stumbles upon the portal by accident. In a life grown far too routine, he believes it may hold the great wonder he's dreamed of for so long.

As international governments coalesce to build a team and a transport, the world's most powerful CEO plays both sides against the middle. For him, this discovery holds power and riches untold.

Former Navy SEAL Mike Roman needs to escape - and a new beginning.

China labors under the price of heavy industrialism, and the nation's leaders fear the worst. Can this opportunity offer new hope?

Formerly titled "A Door to Truth" and compared favorably with works by Michael Crichton, Vince Flynn, Robert Heinlein and Christopher Nolan's latest film Interstellar, Ascension is the first in an exciting trilogy - and a must-read for fans of science fiction and military-political thrillers!

Can't wait for book 2!

I was hooked from just the intro! Characters were very well developed and the suspense of their mission kept me turning the pages. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys sci fi!
