This series was great. Had me crying, cussing, laughing, cussing, crying, and than at peace. Lucky works at a diner to get through college. She owns a piece of junk car and has swore of random dating till she can find her Last Boyfriend. She has rules to this quest. While working at this diner she has a frequent Friday night dates different girl each time customer named Zane. Zane has been hurt by the ones he's truly loved that he's swore off no more love in his life. He doesn't think he's compatible to love knowing they desert him in the end. So when Zane meets lucky for the first time he can't get her out of his mind. These five books are great. Great story line. I couldn't sleep or put down my kindle fire till I completed the series. I'm still thirsty for more. J. S. Cooper is a marvelous writer. You need to read you will not be disappointed. Trust me...

Great storyline!

I chose this rating because I really enjoyed the story. However, the characters were not completely fleshed out. For instance, the reader was never informed of Zane's occupation and the reader was made to believe that Skylar was Noah's girlfriend through most of the book. Also, there were several typo and grammatical errors across all of the books.

This whole book series is amazing. I read the first 2 and then decided to get this box set since it was such a good deal. I still have the finally book to read, but if it's anything like the previous ones than I will fall in love with it as well.

I had the last boyfriend as a free book, and I enjoyed it so much that I brought the box set.
However there was times when I thought some things didn’t make sense in the book however in the following chapter they then become clear. I enjoyed reading this series and hope anyone who is wanting to read it as well will enjoy it. Be ready for heartache, sex and romance.
I will be leaving a little cap to each book in the box set, However I am not 100% sure if any of my words will spoil the book but I hope that I don’t I have tried to give it my honest view on the story. I like to give reviews but I am not very good at most review so I leave short reviews. However I have read the different reviews on this book and as I enjoyed so much I wanted to leave a positive review.


The last boyfriend:
In the last boyfriend we meet Lucky and Zane.
The last boyfriend is given from the view of Lucky a 22 year old college student, working as a waitress.
Zane’s a regular Friday night customers in the diner were lucky works. However Lucky finds that he is a hunk however after the last heart ache is had she has rules to stick by so that the next guy she dates will in fact be her last boyfriend. And she doesn’t see that Zane fits the bill.
She then meets Braydon at a party and thinks that maybe he might be able to fill the position of last boyfriend.
After a party in which both men are at Lucky has to try to figure out who she wants to be with. However Zane makes things hard for her as he deals with the loss in his life and is hiding secrets from her.
The Last Husband:
This story is told from both Zane and Lucky. As Zane is now trying to come to terms of losing his brother and taking his revenge on the person he feels is responsible. In the Last Husband we see a side of Zane that we didn’t see in the Last Boyfriend and we have an insight in his childhood with his brother after his mother left.
Lucky is trying to be there for Zane and protect him like he is protecting her. After speaking with the elderly couple they are working with is given information on Zane’s mother and tries to contact her.
With the revenge ready to take it’s finally steps Zane struggles to find the peace he believed he would have gotten and how he is going to protect Lucky as well as a second rejection in his life.
Near to the end of the book there is happiness for Zane as he finds out he is going to be a father as well as a face from his past returning
Before Lucky – the Prequel to the last boyfriend:
Now with the return of Zane’s brother back from the dead we find out from Zane’s life what he did in helping the FBI and why he took all those dates to the dinner every Friday night. This prequel gives us the story of the last boyfriend from Zane and his feelings when Lucky came into his life.
The other side of Love:
This is Noah’s story. Back from the dead feeling like a broken man.
Noah tries to move on with his life but is still holding things back from his brother. Trying to explain what he is missing from the year he was in hiding is hard for him to open up about.
However Noah starts to believe in love again when he meets the waitress in the dinner Robin.
As Noah starts his new relationship and finds ways in which to open up to his brother about his time away there is one thing on his mind that he can’t forget.
This story has a nice twist at the end and I really wasn’t expecting the result of what had Noah tied up in knots of.
Zane & Lucky’s first Christmas:
This story was a little harder at times to follow as it was told from Zane, Lucky and Noah.
It has been a month after the other side if love finished off.
Noah is trying to adjust to his new life while Zane and Lucky are adjusting to becoming parents.


Epilogue : A year and a half later-Zane:
This is short and sweet giving us an insight to Zane’s life a year after his children are born.
Bonus scene:
The bonus added to this book is told by Zane and the day he became a father.

All of these books are an amazing read, that once you start reading you will be hooked. It is so nice having them all in one collection, so that you have them all together and can continue reading as soon as you finish one.

J S Cooper is an amazing author and you will not be sorry that you read these.

This box set was an enjoyable read and twisted and turned from one book to another, answering questions whilst throwing new one into the mix.
The male characters are not your typical romantic leads, but more cheeky, sassy, and boyish with normal male traits.
I liked the way they struggled with the normal things, they are not perfect.

LOVE

I adore J.S. Cooper's writing! She has done it again with this series. I fell in love with Zane and Noah. Two boys who raised them selves and turned out better than either of their so called parents. Please give this series a read. You won't be displeased!
